Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results? Did you score what you expected?
A: My initial reaction was complete shock because I didn't expect to score anywhere near my actual score, so i spent the next few minutes with little to no reaction. After that, it slowly began kicking in and that sense of accomplishment was so satisfying and my efforts definitely paid off.
Q: Please tell us something about your family background.
A: Both my parents are working in the media industry. My father heads Sales for India TV digital and my Mother is Head-Consumer experience at Kenvue( Earlier J&J). They are from UP but have settled in Mumbai for the last 21 years. I was born and brought up here. We moved to Gurgaon four years back, but back in Mumbai now.
Q: Please tell me about the stream that you are targeting.
A: I'm targeting the humanities stream, including legal studies with maths, as I want to pursue law as a career in the future.

Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?
A: There was no real strategy, just a lot of revision and rereading. Just reading through the textbooks alongside past year's question papers really helped me understand how questions are framed in the board exams, and I only used a few reference books in the process.
Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: I attended coaching for a year, but they focused more on competitive exams rather than boards. I did not attend any coaching in class 10 to prepare for boards. All of my preparation was done by myself.

Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?
A: My parents, who supported me every step of the way and provided me with whatever resources i required, and my friends who were attempting the boards alongside me. I would also like to thank my cats who made things a lot more interesting.
Q: What was your routine during the CBSE board exam preparation?
A: I had fixed 2 slots for studying daily, 2 hours each. Besides this, whenever i wasn't sleeping, i was studying, and whenever I wasn't studying, i was eating.
Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming for?
A: I plan to pursue a career in law, ideally in corporate law into M&A.
Q: What is your favourite subject?
A: It's a tough choice, but it would be social science, particularly history and political science. I also enjoy english a lot, because you have to analyse the text and come to your own conclusions rather than following what the textbook says word for word.
Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?
A: Yes, I plan to start preparing for CLAT and AILET.

Q: What are your future goals?
A: My future goal is to have a successful career in law, particularly corporate law, as i have an analytical mindset, and the profession requires finding loopholes and jumping through hoops to reach your end goal. Also, I would like to buy plenty of fun stuff for my cats!
Q: Please share some tips for students prepping to appear in CBSE Board Exams 2026
A. It's best to not overthink it. At the beginning of 10th, boards are these big, intimidating exams, but by the time you're done with your term exams and preboards, you'll be well equipped to easily get through boards. Rather than studying extremely tough topics, it's better to remain consistent and STICK TO THE NCERT but be regular and consistent in your efforts. It’s important to have a healthy body and fresh mind. I achieved this through playing squash and going for runs in the morning. Lastly, don’t forget to have fun.
