Along with the West Bengal HS result 2022, the board also released the West Bengal 12th topper list. The result has been released at around 11 am which has also made available online at around 12 pm. With 498 marks, Adisha Debsharma from Dinhata Soni Devi Jain High School Cooch Bihar has topped the WBCHSE exam 2022. She has scored 99.6% marks in the WB HS exams 2022. Commonly asked questions
According to the Ministry of Education, WB HS Board exams will be conducted twice a year from the academic session 2025-26 and students will be allowed to retain their best scores. The MoE also mentioned that students will have to study two languages in Classes 11 and 12 where one language has to be Indian. The Board will issue books according to the new National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the session 2026.
However, WBCHSE will conduct the WB class 11 exams 2024-25 in two semesters and eventually they will sit for two-sem exams in Class 12. Details regarding the two-sem exams for WB Class 11 will be out soon.
The Board released the WB HS routine 2026 on May 7, 2025. The WBCHSE exams 2026 were held between February 12 and 27, 2026 in pen and paper format. Students can check the detailed WBCHSE date sheet 2026 below:
