AD Patel Institute of Technology Anand review.
Placements: In my college, the percentage of placements is 100 out of 45% which is very less. The highest package offered is 17 LPA. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Our course was launched in my college recently so there is no placement information about my branch. Almost 70% of students get internships from my college. Top roles offered in our course are data analyst, data scientist, and AI ai engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. There are all facilities available in classrooms but not AC. In the lab, AC is available. The hostel is very good. There is a big room for 3 students. It contains all facilities like Wi-Fi, AC, beds, 24/7 hot water, and a water cooler. The mess food is somewhat okay. For 3 days, the worst food is given to us. For the rest 4 days, good food is provided. There is a canteen in the college but it is not good. There is a hospital near our college for medical emergencies. We have a huge cricket ground in which we play cricket and football.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in our studies. They help us to solve every problem. They are PHD holders in their particular subjects. They have so much knowledge. The quality of teaching is good but the previous semester was good. The course curriculum makes us industry-ready. Step by step they teach us the subject every semester. Mid exams are of 20 marks which is easy to clear but external exams are hard to clear. The pass percentage is 5 CGPA.
Other: I chose AI and data science because I saw a future scope in this field. The best thing about my course is it teaches us much about AI projects and games. Classrooms should need improvement in my college. There are many fests in our college like Gyanutsov, games, and sports fests.

A short review of the private college.
Placements: Placements are nearby good. The new startup tech companies hire students. The average package ranges from 4-5 LPA, which is not average for an engineer in today's world. Internship offers are also on the good side from my point of view. Students who are aiming for a good package can't get the dream one from the on-campus as companies have already mentioned that they can't offer it to a particular number.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is outdated, as we all know that the world is rapidly changing and numerous changes have taken place in the IT sector, especially in India. The hostel infrastructure is very poor. Many students are living in the hostel only because the college is located very far from the mainland of the city, and the traveling charges are high.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They hold the knowledge of their own particular fields. According to my point of view, studying here for 3 years, the course outcome doesn't make us industry-ready, as it has the curriculum of a top B.Tech college in India. Passing the semester exam is very easy, as it has tag of a private university. The college does not want to destroy its reputation, so it genuinely does not fail a large number of students. The college course is stuck in having knowledge of everything rather than mastering a particular domain. The college is still teaching subjects like engineering drawing to students of artificial intelligence.
Other: I chose this course as it is one of my dreams to learn that particular thing that can surpass the human, i.e., artificial intelligence. Events and fests are rare here, once or twice a year, because studying in a private university gives us more fun vibes than studies.

It is an average college, and the only good thing is the events and fest.
Placements: I got 81 percent in the CBSE board and secured around 15,000th rank in ACPC. Since this year was only the second placement drive at our college for my course, the average package is around 3-4 LPA. Some of the companies that participated include Instances Solution, Emgage, Mastek, Thinkbiz, and many others. Over 100 companies in total were invited for placement all over the course. Several of the companies mentioned above hire students from my course, with around 40-50 percent of them getting full-time placements. I'm not entirely sure about all the roles offered, but some of them are web designer, data analyst, and similar roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure from outside is good, and the inside is not particularly good. Cleaning inside the classrooms is done maybe once a week, and the washrooms for faculty members are good, but not for students. The facilities provided are good, including the IDEA Lab, which was funded by the government. You can use computers if they are vacant during college hours. I don't know much about hostel facilities, but only newly made hostels are good, and the old ones are not that great. The food for the mess is mediocre, there is a sports complex area, and tournaments are held by them now and then.
Faculty: Teachers are great and very qualified for their posts, but the way of teaching is too boring, as they only read the text in pre-made PPTs every year. This looks good for some time, but it makes students disinterested in the course. No, the course is not relevant, as there are many of them, and no, it doesn't make you industry-ready at all. Semester exams are difficult, but if you study hard, you can clear them. The pass percentage is not high; rather, it gives you a backlog in a particular subject, so I'm not sure about that.
Other: I chose this college because I was interested in the growth of AI, how these things work, how they advance, and things like that. My course needed improvement with the curriculum; the content needed to interconnect, which would make students ready and make things interesting. Events and fests are held once every year, which are very interesting to watch and participate in. They help build new friendships and different circles with the same interests as you. Scholarships are handled for a few, with not that great options; some state scholarships are filled with better opportunities.
