Placements: Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College is located in Kolkata and is a Government-affiliated institution under the University of Calcutta. It has various undergraduate programs in commerce, arts, and science. Now, in the placement statistics in B.Com honors the highest package is 8.5 LPA. The average package is 4.8 LPA and the lowest salary is Rs. 15,000 per month. Approximately 65% of students get secured placements. Some of the recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Cognizant, etc. Students also get internship opportunities in various MSME companies. The top roles offered are accountant and office executive.

Infrastructure: In AJC, classrooms have well-furnished equipment and digital boards to enhance the learning experience. Laboratories are also very good for the Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology departments. For commerce, there is an IT department to libraries with 20,000 books and 14 journal subscriptions, 12 popular science magazines, and 6 daily newspapers. The library is fully air-conditioned and provides an e-library section for digital processing. Wi-Fi is also provided for students as long as the staff members.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are quite knowledgeable and also helpful to students. They offer a very friendly technique of teaching which is very good for students. Semester exams at this college follow the Calcutta University pattern and can be moderately challenging. About 75-80% of students in most departments pass. Overall, AJC Bose College offers a dependable academic environment with good faculty members.

Table of Horrific Adventures.

Placements: The passing batches did not get placements, as the college did not offer good placement facilities. The top role offered in this course was a managerial position, and that was too much higher experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was decent. It had a library with Wi-Fi facilities, a canteen, and a gym. Classrooms had the facility of smart classes, but they never ran. The college didn't have a field to play on, so it was a big disappointment for students. Still the location of the college was good.

Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified, helpful, and humble. They took classes regularly and were good at helping students. The course curriculum was not at all relevant to practicality. It was just that a graduation degree had to be obtained, so students opted for this course. Semesters could be challenging at points, but they were never impossible.

Other: The college didn't have any social engagement, which was a big disappointment.

My experience at Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose College from 2020 to 2023.

Placements: In Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose College, there was no placement for any students. There was no kind of package offered by the college for this course, and no company came for recruitment. Students did internships and jobs on their own, and top roles were not offered for this course.

Infrastructure: In this college, the infrastructure was below average and not so good. Wi-Fi was available but the internet was very poor. Labs were good, and their policies and rules were also good. There was no hostel provided for students. The canteen facilities were good. Sports and games events were below average.

Faculty: Teachers were good and qualified to teach students, but not every teacher was helpful for exams. The semester exams were not so difficult, and the passing percentage was around 30–35 marks for each subject. This college was good but not the best maybe it was improving.

Our college look vintage in 2015.

Placements: 65% of students got placed in our course. The lowest package was Rs 15,000. The highest package offered in our course was Rs 40,000. Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and K12 Techno Services were recruiting companies. 70% of students got internships from our course in Tech Mahindra and Tata Consultancy. Vice associate, telecalling, and call customer care were offered in our course.

Infrastructure: In our department, there were many facilities like AC, CCTV, 4 lifts, Wi-Fi, library, labs, computer rooms, gym, projector, cafeteria, car and bike parking, and large auditorium. In our college, there was no hostel. But in canteen the food was very hygienic and tasty.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They communicate like they were our buddy. Of course, this curriculum was relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Exams were not too easy and not too difficult also if you pay attention in class, it will be very easy. Pass percentage was 70%.

Other: I chose this course because I need a simple and normal course to do and I want to enjoy college life and focus on my main goal. The best thing about our course was not very difficult and valued the students. Many bad students broke the glasses and washrooms door. No need to improve in the course. Every time our college hosts unannounced and many events and game competitions with other colleges. The campus crowd was nice. People were very friendly nature.

Review of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College.

Placements: As a second-year student as much as I've heard placements at our college aren't very good. Many top companies like TCS, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college authorities must work on the placement cell for more students to get opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college does not provide any hostel facilities.

Faculty: Our teachers are top-notch. They are expertise in their respective fields. The semester exams are held as per Calcutta University guidelines. Internal exams which are being held inside the college are taken by paying proper attention to every student.

Other: Our course is beautifully designed. Students who did not get good marks in their 12th examinations can also get admission to our college. If you're planning to pursue B.Com with your CA, CS, and CMA this is the best college you can opt for. For the course structure, I'm giving a 4 star. The only con is that our college stays closed most of the time.

The college is highly recommended after BES College.

Placements: Around 60% of students got placement, and the highest package is INR 7.2L and the lowest is INR 4.2L. The recruiting companies are Gillette Guard and Deloitte. Around 85% of students got internships from Gillette. The top role is offered in the finance department for billing and sales marketing.

Infrastructure: Our college has more facilities, such as Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Labs, and a digital classroom on the 7th floor of the building. Also, our college has a library in which all books related to all courses are available, and apart from this, all magazines are available for past history.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful to the students and qualified. All have good knowledge of their particular subject in their minds. The teaching quality of all teachers are very good. This course curriculum is also highly popular. Yes, it makes the students ready for industrial companies.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Many top companies comes like TCS, HDFC, DELOITTE etc. And atleast 20% was selected every year and many of the student was got an internship in a company for sales marketing, accounts department, If you want a placement in this college you should score more 90% every semester.

Infrastructure: As this is a government aided college the infrastructure is very good and all the class room have attached AC and projector. And in college premises you can use free Wi-Fi, in our college library there are so many type of book if you want to read then you have to make a library card which is free. There are no hostel by college but there are too many mess you can stay there in nominal feels Our college organize every year cricket competition In our college premises you can eat at nominal cost in the canteen .

Faculty: All the teacher are well educated and very helping nature. The teacher are in this college are very polite behaviour The semester exam is not at all difficult is our college because the teacher already teach us all the thing. Every year approximately 95% student was passed from this college.

Good college for higher studies .

Placements: Only few students can clear honours. The highest package is about 180000. Top roles in financial accounting. Most of the students of this course didn't go for a job after completing this course for this they prefer professional courses like CA CS BBA FRM.

Infrastructure: Out college provide good facilities and its infrastructure is very good. Class room and library is designed in such a way which create a good environment. Our canteen take care of haigen for students. Our college locality is very expensive. There is lots of places to visit.

Faculty: Our teachers are good enough for everything. Our college teachers provide quality of education. Teachers are very much helpful. B.Com honours course didn't make a person to get ready for a industrial purpose. 1 st and 2nd semester exam are very much similar to class 12th.

Other: B.Com honours course is very good course for those who go for Masters degree. This is the real reason behind choosing this course. Standard of education is needed. Events are also organised by the college and also provide us scholarship.
