  • MBA: 1st year fee is 1 lakh

The overall fee structure for UG courses at Aditya Engineering College (AEC) requires more information due to several variations:

1. B.Tech Program: Fees differ significantly across different B.Tech specializations at AEC. For example, computer Science might have higher fees compared to civil engineering. 2. Tuition vs. Total Fees: The college website and brochures might differentiate between "tuition fees" and "total fees, " which include additional charges like hostel fees, exam fees, library fees, etc. 3. Category Variations: Fees might differ for different categories like general, SC, ST, OBC, etc. 4. Scholarship Opportunities: AEC offers various scholarship opportunities for eligible students, which can significantly reduce the overall fees for UG courses. Additionally, the availability and criteria for these scholarships may vary depending on the category and specialisation of the student. 5. Payment Options: AEC provides flexible payment options, such as installment plans or financial aid programs, to assist students in managing their fees. These options can be explored further to determine the most suitable payment method for each student's financial situation.

To find the most accurate fee information for your desired B.Tech. specialisation and category, I recommend exploring these resources:

Aditya Engineering College.
Placements: In my college, 30% of students are in the EEE department. The highest package is 13 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is about 4-5 LPA. The top companies in Andhra Pradesh are giving job opportunities in my department. The students who are mostly interested are going for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat good, but not bad. We have good classrooms and hostel rooms for long-distance students. Some labs with well-equipped requirements. We have a small library with central AC. We have some canteens for both students. We have a medical clinic and an everyday sports class.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are very qualified. Their teaching quality is so good, and they are very knowledgeable. They have so many years of experience. This course is somewhat relevant to industry management. This course is very convenient for all students. The semester exams are conducted every two months. The question papers are very moderate.

It is very good to join.
Placements: Everything is good. Average placements are being held, and as per 2024 placements, we are hearing good hiring before the year and this year too. Expecting this year to be a good placement for our batch and the seniors' batches, too, depending on our performances.
Infrastructure: As I'm a day scholar, I don't know about hostel infrastructure, but as I heard, it is average to stay there. Some labs are comfortable with air conditioners, but some don't have AC, which is very uncomfortable to study in a close room.
Faculty: Good faculty with a good curriculum. Exam courses are great for better preparation for courses as per the curriculum in the semester-wise subjects. Exams are being held time to time and marks are being awarded as per students performance by assignments and seminars by students marks were being awarded.
Other: Most of students joined this year, and the crowd is heavy as students are more around the campus in break times, also campus life will be crazily good.

Think again before you join.
Placements: In my department, placements are less when compared to other branches, but we have many Japan placements. Not most but some of the people get selected for Japan MNCs as most of them are from EEE and ECE. Other companies are TCS, Walmart, Infosys, Tata, etc. Our department is mainly focused on international placements.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. Aditya maintains highly infrastructure labs and classrooms. It has very hi-tech digital classrooms with Wi-Fi facilities in every classrooms. It has very good lab equipment, very good benches, and good infrastructure. There are many separate blocks for every branch. Hostel facilities are very good. Medical facility is also there for hostel students.
Faculty: Some of our faculty members are very good at teaching, but some are not well-trained. They teach by only using power points (like by scrolling the slides on board). But some faculty members are very good at using board and their teaching lectures are well. But the main problem is only with lab techniques. They have no teaching skills and they are not even eligible as technique too but act like a main faculty.
Other: The best thing in my course is international placement. The worst thing is writing records and observations. The content is same but writing the same content twice is a useless thing, this must change in my college. There is only 1 fest in our college which is celebrated every year compulsorily, that is Veda.

Best place to connect with different kinds of people.
Placements: VSLI/chip design engineer, embedded system enhancement, network engineer, telecom engineer, IoT specialists, robotics engineer, software developer, and research associate are the roles offered in ECE, and there are other roles that can be taken in the other courses.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is excellent, and it's very nice when coming to facilities 24X7. All services are available like hot water/cold water to drink. The hostel surroundings are very good and give you a good vibe. It must be very nice to go out to places.
Faculty: The semester exams are very difficult in our college. I chose a difficult course, so the semester exams are strict. The pass percentage is very good. The papers are very difficult, and to pass it's okay but to get high percentage it's too difficult.
Other: In our college, they celebrate every festival. They conduct more events, and scholarships are available in our college. The campus crowd is more, and they connect to each other very fast.

Actually, it’s good, but there is not enough practical knowledge.
Placements: In ECE, 60-80% of students get placed every year, with the highest package of 12 LPA, average 4-6 LPA, and the lowest 3 LPA. The top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. The roles offered are software engineer, developer, analyst, embedded system engineer, and VLSI engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are well-equipped, and Wi-Fi is not that stable, but it’s okay. The facilities of the hostel are better than other hostels. Medical facilities are average, and there is full encouragement for sports and games. The mess is average, and the food menu is fixed.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, it makes the students very knowledgeable and makes them industry-ready, but it also depends on the students to be focused on themselves. The semester exams are not that tough.
Other: I am kind of interested in this course as I am curious to learn new things. My course is very interesting and fun to learn. The circuits make everyone curious. More practical knowledge than theoretical, as it helps us to learn more.

Over 75% of students received placements. The promised pay ranges from 1.8 LPA to 4 LPA, the highest.

Q:   Can I join Aditya Engineering College directly?
A:

No, you cannot directly join Aditya Engineering College (AEC) without going through the official admission process. AEC, like most engineering colleges in India, adheres to specific eligibility criteria and selection procedures for enrolling students. These criteria and procedures are put in place to ensure that only qualified and deserving candidates are admitted to the college. Therefore, it is important for all aspiring students to follow the official admission process and meet the required criteria to have a chance of getting admitted to AEC.

Here's what you need to understand about joining AEC:

Admissions process for B.Tech. programs:

  • Qualifying Exams: Applicants must qualify for the AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Medical, and Dental Entrance Test), which is the primary selection criterion for B.Tech admissions at AEC.

  • Eligibility Requirements: Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

  • Selection Process: Admission is granted based on merit rank obtained in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, followed by counselling and seat allocation procedures.

For other programs:

  • MCA and MBA programs: Admissions are conducted through separate entrance exams, namely AP PGECET and Andhra Pradesh ICET, respectively.

  • Diploma programs: Specific entrance exams or merit-based selection processes might be applicable, depending on the chosen program.

Direct admission scenarios (limited):

  • Management Quota: Some colleges might reserve a few seats under the Management Quota, where admission might be possible through personal contact or donation, but this varies and might not be applicable at AEC.

  • Lateral Entry: If you have completed a Diploma in Engineering, you might be eligible for lateral entry to the second year of the B.Tech programme through designated exam scores or merit-based selection.

Recommendations:

  • Follow the official admissions process: Focus on preparing for the relevant entrance exams for your desired programme (AP EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, Andhra Pradesh ICET, etc.).

  • Stay updated on college announcements: Check the official website of AEC and relevant portals for updated information on eligibility criteria, application deadlines, and selection procedures.

  • Seek guidance: You can seek guidance from career counselors or college representatives for detailed information and support throughout the application process.

Q:   Can I get B.Tech at Aditya Engineering College with 75 percentile in JEE?
A:

While having a 75 percentile score in JEE Mains is definitely impressive, unfortunately, directly gaining admission to B.Tech. programs at Aditya Engineering College solely based on that score is not possible. This is because Aditya Engineering College primarily relies on AP EAMCET scores for B.Tech admissions. JEE Mains scores are not directly used as a criterion for selection. Instead, Aditya Engineering College considers JEE Mains scores for eligibility purposes, allowing students to apply for the B.Tech. program. However, the final admission decision is based on the candidate's performance in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, which holds more weight in the selection process.

However, your good JEE score can still indirectly benefit your application in a few ways:

  • Demonstrates strong academics: A high JEE score showcases strong foundations in math,  physics,  and chemistry,  crucial subjects for engineering studies. This can positively impact your application by highlighting your academic potential.

  • Borderline cases: In situations where candidates have similar Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores,  a good JEE score might be considered as a tie-breaker to prioritize applicants with stronger academic backgrounds.

  • Specific situations: The college might consider JEE scores in specific situations mentioned in their admission brochure,  such as for transfer admissions or specific scholarship programs.

Therefore, while your JEE score won't guarantee admission directly, it can still indirectly strengthen your application in certain scenarios.

Here's what you can do to maximize your chances of getting a B.Tech seat at Aditya Engineering College:

  • Focus on Andhra Pradesh EAMCET: Ensure you perform well in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET to secure a competitive rank. This is the primary determinant for B.Tech admissions at AEC.

  • Highlight your JEE score: Mention your JEE score in your application form and during the interview (if there is one) to showcase your academic strengths.

  • Check the admission brochure: Carefully read the official admission brochure of AEC to understand if and how JEE scores are considered in specific situations.

  • Consider alternative colleges: If AEC is your top choice,  prioritize performing well in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. However,  explore other reputable colleges that accept JEE scores for B.Tech admissions as a backup option.

Remember, admission to B.Tech programs at AEC can be competitive, and a combination of a good Andhra Pradesh EAMCET score and additional factors like your JEE score can increase your chances of success. In addition, it is important to highlight any relevant extracurricular activities or achievements that demonstrate your passion and dedication in the field of engineering. These can include participating in robotics competitions, conducting research projects, or volunteering for engineering-related organizations. By showcasing your well-roundedness and commitment to the field, you can further strengthen your application to AEC's B.Tech. program.

Q:   Are there any scholarship programmes for UG courses at Aditya Engineering College?
A:

AEC, the Aditya Engineering College, has a few scholarship programs for undergraduate studies, mostly UG students:

Merit Scholarships: Given to those who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement.
Scholarships for International Students: Financial assistance for B.Tech programs.
Government Scholarships: Visit the AICTE website, scholarships.gov.in, to learn about federal and state funding available to engineering students.

Factors influencing cut-offs:

  • Entrance Exams: Aditya accepts scores from various exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, APICET, etc. Each exam has its own cut-off, and the one you take will influence your chances.
  • Category: The college reserves seats for different categories like SC, ST, OBC, etc. Cut-offs for these categories may be lower than those for the general category.
  • Program and Competition: Admission for specific MBA specializations within the programme might have higher cut-offs due to varying application volumes and programme popularity.
  • Year-to-year variations: Cut-offs can fluctuate based on the number of applicants and overall competition in that year.

Exam and Category Matter:

  • AEC accepts scores from multiple exams like APICET, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, CAT, MAT, etc. Each exam has its own cut-off, so choose wisely based on your strengths.
  • Different categories (general, SC, ST, etc.) also have separate cut-off thresholds, with some being lower for specific groups.

Sanctioned vs. Actual Intake:

  • While AEC has a sanctioned intake of 1080 students for BTech across all branches, the actual number admitted differs year-to-year.
  • In recent years, the intake has been significantly lower, with 301 students in 2020–2021 and 207 in 2019–2020.

Eligibility and Programs:

  • To be eligible for BTech at AEC, you need to be an intermediate graduate (Class 12) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as main subjects.
  • The college offers a range of BTech programs, with its Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) boasting the highest intake at 180 students.
  • They also offer master's programs in CSE with an intake of 30 students.
  • Recognising the growing demand, AEC established the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) in 2021 with an initial intake of 60 students.

What this means for you:

  • While the sanctioned intake is high, competition for specific branches like CSE and AI&ML might be significant due to their lower intake numbers.
  • Researching past admission trends and program-specific intake capacities can help you gauge your chances and prepare accordingly.
  • Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria, especially the PCM requirement.
