Good mechanical department with strong infrastructure and decent placements.

Placements: Around 65-70 percent of our mechanical batch got placed with packages from 2.4 to 6 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS, Teach Mahindra, Hyundai, L&T, JSW, and Eftronics. About 30-40 percent got internships, mainly in APGENCO, VSP, Shipyard, and local industries.

Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs, spacious Wi-Fi classrooms, and a good library. Hostels are clean with 24/7 water and power. Mess food is average but manageable. The campus provides canteens, medical support, sports facilities, and indoor games.

Faculty: Faculty in the department are very helpful, well-qualified, and strong in core subjects, which makes learning easier. The curriculum is updated with useful labs, industrial visits, and project work that help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough but manageable with regular study, and the overall pass percentage stays consistently high.

Other: Chose Mechanical Engineering because it has diverse career options in manufacturing, automotive, and design sectors. The best part of the course is the hands-on labs and technical projects, which help you understand real-world engineering. Wish the college would improve more core-company placements and include advanced software training like Ansys, SolidWorks, and HyperMesh. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are available for eligible students.

Good management with great facilities.

Placements: Almost 90% of our batch are placed well in large to small companies with good packages in different countries like Japan and all over India like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mysore, Trichi, Gurugram, etc. Companies like L&T, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, and other companies are our recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The campus is always hygienic and good Wi-Fi for hostel students. Labs are good and have well-technicians to help. The library is very clean with all types of books and friendly faculty. The hostel is very good and quality is also good. We can eat the food in a neat area.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. They always want to teach new things to us. All teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. Faculty members are friendly. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.

Other: This is the best course to do a job in the core.
