Absolutely suggest it to others to take admission. It is also accredited by NAAC.
Placements: During the current placement session, around 96 percent of students from my course are placed in different companies. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest is about 2 LPA. The average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Deloitte, Pinnacle, and Debson Pumps.
Infrastructure: We have a very strong building followed by well-maintained labs for every student. We also have a fast Wi-Fi connection. The classrooms are vast and well-lit. Our college provides two separate canteens for students as well as teachers, and they are very clean and provide good food.
Faculty: All teachers from my department as well as other departments are very well behaved and helpful. Everyone is quite specialized in their streams and subjects, which helps us understand them better. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the streams taken. The pass percentage is around 97% every semester.

Balanced college life, decent academics, improving placements, good facilities, but scope to grow.
Placements: From the department of Computer Science and Engineering, approximately 90-95% of the students get placed in the campus placement with the highest package of approximately 9 LPA and the lowest package of approximately 3 LPA. The average package offered to the students is 6 LPA. The top recruiter of our college is TCS, followed by Cognizant and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college are excellent. Classrooms and labs are well-decorated, and large rooms are provided for students. We have an excellent infrastructure at the college. The hostel rooms are also very nice, with a maximum of 2 people staying in 1 room, with extravagant meals provided 4 times a day to the students.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, with a great quality of teaching and brilliant teaching quality. 1 to 1 interaction with each and every student, with 24/7 availability of every teacher. The course curriculum is very relevant and has brilliant teachers with external training to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult, with a pass percentage of 98%.

Review of Asansol Engineering College.
Placements: Approximately 700 students are eligible for placements (eligibility based on CGPA, attendance in FSPS, mock test results, etc.), but the whole situation has gone wrong. Only 180 to 250 students are placed in service-based companies like TCS.
Infrastructure: I will say a student of 1st year must stay in the hostel at least one year, then if they wish, they can switch to paying guest (PG) houses. For the hostel, we have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 5,000 (one-time), and it is refundable after 4 years. The hostel rent is Rs. 2,700 per month. All bills are mandatory even if we are on vacation for some time. If students wish to leave the hostel, then they should keep all of their monthly food bill slips, and then only they will get a Rs. 5,000 refund after passing out. The PG house rent is Rs. 2,000 per month. The food cost in the hostel is Rs. 2,800 per month, and in PG is Rs. 2,000 per month.
Faculty: Currently, AEC has become an autonomous college, so all tests are taken by the college itself. Previously, it was under MAKAUT, so there were 4 CA internal tests- out of which the best of 2 CA marks are considered. Ca1= PPT making, Ca2= handwritten report, Ca3= class test, and Ca4= online test. Some great faculty members are available, like PRD sir, AU sir, Sandip sir, SKD sir, etc. Semester exams are taken every 6 months (likely in June and January).
Other: Events like IHMMC, Hackathon, and fests take place in order to showcase our skills and innovation. There are many clubs like the hardware club, robotics club, and kasar club that are deeply involved in organising those events.

Overall, college is decent if you want to take admission, go for it.
Placements: If you study hard, you get placed easily. TCS and Cognizant are the companies that take the majority of students. The training and placement cell is good. Internship opportunities are very rare in college. Off-campus, you can try. 3.5 to 4.5 is the minimum package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of electronics and communication engineering is far better than that of other departments. Labs are good. The hostel is awesome, and all basic facilities are available here. Mess is average. There is always a tournament for hostel students, like cricket, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are above average in all the departments. The electronics and communication course is good, it's tough, but you can score. It is difficult to pass semester exams. You can study hard. Teachers gave good marks in practical, but in theory, you will have to study hard.
Other: Festivals happen in college every year, and they are good. Scholarships are available at this college.

Good environment and opportunities for enthusiastic students.
Placements: In AIML, around 40 percent was placed last year. The highest package was around 9 LPA from our branch. And the lowest went near about 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are tcs, tcs ninja, wipro, accenture, deloitte, etc. Very few got the internship last year like around 30 percent I can say. Top roles include SDE, finance, product manager, etc.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi all over the campus with good speed. We get various facilities like library access, canteen with good price, beautiful amphitheatre, lifts, lush green campus, etc. Hostel is also good although the quality of food could be better. Various sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball, kho, and certain indoor games are also played by the sports lovers players of our campus. A medical room is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced. They are very supportive for our academic stuff. Teaching quality is interactive and not boring. Curriculum is relevant we get to learn basics in our first year and then more aiml oriented stuff in subsequent year. Although it could be more industry oriented. Semester exams are not tough at all, exams are scorable for a average candidate. The college is autonomous from this year. To pass you have to score 31 marks.
Other: I chose this course because it is more relevant according to the present scenarios as we know our future is all AI releted stuff so that's why I choose it. Best things about this course is that it trains u how to tackle real life problems within second using ai, this is the beauty. Various fests like kasar and events keeps organizing. There are various clubs u can join to increase your potential and enhance your skills and deploy the work u are Passionate about. Seniors are very supportive, u can easily connect and they will help u out.

With this rank 62727, I think you should go for CSE in ASEC. ASEC is a decent college for CSE with decent faculty and placements. It is much better than Asansol and I am sure about it. Now if you think of going for higher studies you can join AEC but do remember ASEC will have the proximity of Kolk
