Decent infrastructure and campus, but faculty support and placements need improvement.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course in information technology branch is 90%. The highest package is 29 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA. 35 to 40% of students got internships from our course and companies are TCS Ninja and TCS Prime. At Asansol Engineering College top recruiting companies are TCS Ninja, TCS Prime, Accenture, EY, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course and departments are not too good and not too bad. Wi-Fi is good. But labs, classrooms, and libraries are not too good in our department because they are so old and not maintaining. Hostel mess and canteen are okay, not too good and not too bad.

Faculty: Department teachers are too much helpful and kind in nature. They are more qualified and have more extracurricular teaching in our syllabus. They make students industry-ready. The semester exams at this college are not too much easy and not too much hard. The pass percentage is 5.5 SCGPA.

Other: In Asansol Engineering College the information technology department is one of the best courses. The best thing in our force is IEEE chapter membership. Lab and classrooms would be better improved for our course. The event faced campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extra telegram activities are too much good in better than those other colleges.

Review of Asansol Engineering College.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed every year. The highest salary package offered on-campus ranges from 12 LPA-13 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA- 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, etc. Talking about Internships, our college didn't give on-campus internships but we can apply for off-campus. Many students got internships in Tech Giants.

Infrastructure: There are all kinds of basic facilities available at our college. Our college has a Wi-Fi facility and library with all types of books available there. We also have many labs like IT project lab, software engineering lab, an IT workshop, etc. The quality of food provided in the hostel and canteen is average.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, polite, and supportive. Most of them are PhD holders, so they are very well educated, no doubt. Course curriculum is relevant as it has subjects like C+, Java, Python, AI/ML, and Core subjects like COA, DSA, and OS in its syllabus. Semester exams are quite difficult here, students have to start studying at least 1 month before the exam to get a good CGPA.

Best for Enjoying College Life.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in the course is 65-66%. The highest package offered in my course is 24 LPA, the average package offered in my course is 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered in my course is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. 20-25% of students got internships in my course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are very good and up to the mark. The whole campus has proper Wi-Fi supply, and the labs have air-conditioners and are well maintained. The library is huge, with lots of books from every stream and subject.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, highly qualified, and properly knowledgeable. The overall teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It does make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult, but if you study sincerely for 2-3 months, you will pass with good marks.

Other: I chose this position to gain knowledge and to get a proper, respectable, and strong position in the field of technology. I think everything is perfect. Events and fests are held properly from time to time.

Good teachers in Asansol Engineering College.

Placements: Minimum 80% were selected last year. IT batch: The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The average is 4.2 LPA, I guess. Companies like Digital, Infosys, Ninja, TCS, Wipro recruited. Maximum placements were in TCS, with roles like manager and debugger. To be honest, I don't know what the posts are, but you'll be satisfied.

Infrastructure: Not that much good. The facility is mediocre. Wi-Fi is there. Depends on you. I would say go for PG. You get a personal bathroom there—what else do you want? Different types of courses you can pursue include Computer Science, Information Technology, IoT, CSBS, and Data Science.

Faculty: Some are very good and experienced, but some I don't know. I don't understand their class. There are two Maths teachers (won't say their names) who are excellent in both ways. And there is this electrical sir. Awesome. He will teach you everything in a fluid manner. I love the teaching of this sir.

Other: IT is good because the crowd is less here compared to the CS branch.

Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent here. All teachers teach properly. The paper for the semester exam is tough. Asansol Engineering College offers B. Tech, MCA, and M.Tech programs in various disciplines. It provides quality technical education and skill development.

Other: I chose this course because I love it, and maybe I will get placed in a good company.
