Asansol Engineering College is a good college in Asansol area for engineering courses.

Placements: 70% students got placed last year. The lowest package offered is 3 lakhs and the average is 4 lakhs in this course. The highest package offered is 8lakhs. Godrej, Shyam Sel, Pinnacle, TCS, Infosys, Shriram Automall, A.B. Polypacks, and many more companies visit the campus.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in Asansol Engineering College. It is a well-decorated college and provides good facilities such as a hostel, library, laboratory and classrooms. The quality of food in our college canteen as well as college hostel is quite good enough.

Faculty: I want to say that there are a number of restrictions especially for girls which should be reduced. Also the college should enhance the teaching quality. There are so many curriculum activities like webinars, pre-placement training, online programme, etc., held for learning . All these activities provide industry specific knowledge for students. Pre-placement training is specifically for campus placement as it is necessary to qualify the aptitude round. The companies visit our college as they conduct seminars.

Nice college for computer Science and electronics but lacking in core branches.

Placements: College provide a huge range of placement and internship support along with the course circulam the highest package offered is 12 LPA while the lowest is 3.5 LPA some top company recruiting TCS cabgemini Mahindra tata TCS etc. The roles offered are production engineer, supply management, etc.

Infrastructure: The classroom are spacious enough and suitable for about 150 students, there are different lab in our college like work shop fluid lab, soil lab, Auto CADe lab, cutting tools etc. The hostel facility is good along with interesting sports and games through out the year.

Faculty: The faculty members are enough qualified but not so helpful and supportive. The teaching quality is only based on the textbook knowledge. The course curriculum is good with a few internship opportunities to be industry ready. The semester exams are medium level and can be cleared easily.
