I had an awesome experience and gained knowledge in this college.

Placements: Almost 4,000 students got placed in the ECE department from our college until 2017. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the average salary package offered was 8 to 12 LPA. Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, etc., are the main recruiting companies of our college. The top role offered to the students is a junior engineering graduate. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was 7 to 8 LPA. Almost 90% of the students got an internship opportunity from various company like Infosys, Wipro, Ericsson, Huawei, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, sufficient classrooms, library, canteen, playground, boys and girls hostels all are available inside the campus. A medical facility, sports ground and indoor games like carrom board, chess and table tennis are also available in the hostel. Food quality is average.

Faculty: Some teachers in our college are very good, amiable and helpful but some teachers are not good. In my 4 years of college, I found many good and very helpful teachers. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. In campus, there was a workshop where we get much practical knowledge.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like electronics parts and I want to know many things like how a telephone works. This type of queries makes me choose ECE. The best part of our course is communication. As I like to communicate, so mobile communication is the best. The college should provide some teachers. The college organises computer gaming events, which students enjoy the most. Every year some needy students get scholarships from the college president.

A review of Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management, Durgapur.

Placements: The placements of this college are not that good in recent times. My seniors were placed. In the year 2014, the placements rate is quite good, and almost close to 75 percent students were placed. In recent years, it dropped to 40-45 percent. The average salary offered was 2.4 LPA. The highest package offered was 3.6 LPA and the lowest is 1.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not that good. At my time, the buildings were under construction. There was a Wi-Fi library with a sufficient number of books. The labs were of decent quality. The food in the hostel is generally of good quality. The hostel rooms are also of decent quality, but they have only two types of rooms, one was three-sharing and others were of four-sharing.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and qualified, but lab assistants were not up to the mark. The methods of teaching were quite impressive and very helpful. The industry exposure was provided to very less number of students, not to everyone, so I didn't get a chance. The students-teacher ratio is approximately 20:1.

If students want to enjoy 4 years then join this college.

Placements: In this college, placements were average. The top company was Amazon for call center, and a handful of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA which was good for freshers.

Infrastructure: It provides good facilities here which includes a library with all good books students need for academic and competitive exams along with Wi-Fi which was very helpful for the student in studies. The classroom was very spacious. The best thing was that there was a hostel facility and PG with all the good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable with good teaching skills. The course curriculum was relevant and make students ready for industry work. Exams were not difficult and students enjoy giving exams, and the passing percentage is 33%. Faculty members were good and supportive and students can score good marks if they work hard.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) with above mentioned percentage in all the three subjects taken together in regular class mode. Candidate must have passed English in the 10+2 with at least 30% marks. The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned. Candidate must be a citizen of India. The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2021. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2004. There is no upper age limit. Students awaiting results can also apply on provisional basis.

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in WBJEE for the 90% of the approved intake and remaining 10% will be through JEE Mains.
