The total tuition fee for MBBS at AIIMS Delhi is INR 6,080. However, this information is sourced from the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. fee payment is to be made in cash.
Students must note that cheques, drafts, money orders, etc. will not be accepted in any case and the extension of the date for payment of dues isn't permitted in any case. Other than the tuition fee, the institute charges a lot of other components in the total fee, such as registration charges, caution deposits, student union and laboratory fee. These components are over and above the tuition fee mentioned above. Yes, AIIMS Delhi is almost free for all the programmes including MBBS MD MS PG Diploma M.Ch. DM DNB etc. For MBBS the admission charges (non-refundable) are INR 25 at the time of admission and INR 35 per day for the first 10 days. Other than this, there is no annual fee at AIIMS Delhi. Students must make a one-time payment between INR 5,000 to INR 6,000 which is the fee for the complete MBBS course of 5.5 years.
The UG and PG students who get hostel at AIIMS Delhi campus are required to submit hostel fee from along with the tuition fee, every semester. For Junior residents, however, the hostel fee is deducted from salary. In addition to this, a hostel security deposit fee of INR 1,000 at the time of joining/ application. The answer will be both yes and no. Getting into AIIMS Delhi without NEET is possible if applying for courses such as BSc, MSc, PB BSc Nursing, MD, MS, DM and MCh, among various others, apart from MBBS. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.
However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not.
AIIMS had released the BSc (H) Nursing Round 2 seat allotment for AIIMS Delhi admissions of previous year. Failure to select the seat accepting option as below will lead to cancellation of the allocated AIIMS and the deposited amount of INR 1 Lacs (In case of R1 seat allottee) will be forfeited. AIIMS Delhi offers a wide range of MSc in Nursing, MSc and MBiotechnology courses to students at the PG level. The qualification required to pursue different MSc courses at AIIMS Delhi are as follows:
- For MSc Nursing: Candidates must have completed BSc (Hons) Nursing/ BSc Nursing (Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic /BSc Nursing (4 years) course from any recognised university from an educational institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council with 60% at least aggregate for Gen/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates (55% aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates). Additionally, they must have registered as a Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.
- For MBiotechnology: Like other MSc courses, candidates must have completed a relevant degree or BTech (Biotechnology) with 60% aggregate.
- For MSc Courses: A pass in BSc with science (Biology compulsory) or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate.
Final selection to all the above MSc and MBiotech courses is subject to an Institute-level Entrance Exam conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.
NEET UG Round 1 cutoff has been released for the AIIMS Delhi MBBS course. The Opening and Closing ranks depend on the category and quota of candidates. As per the AIIMS Delhi cutoff 2024, the NEET UG Round 1 opening rank was 1 and the closing rank was 47 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of home state. Admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at AIIMS Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam, followed by the NEET UG counselling process.
Yes, AIIMS Delhi has 21 hostel buildings located at the Ansari Nagar campus, Masjid Moth campus, Raj Nagar and Ayurvigyan Nagar. All these hostel buildings have an overall capacity of about 2,717 seats and majority of this accommodation is for a single student/ residents/ married students or families. The hostel facility of AIIMS Delhi, other than the residential building, provides a mess, a canteen, a juice shop and an Amul shop, etc., for the convenience of the students.
The college has single, double or triple occupancy rooms along with family rooms for married students. Most single rooms are furnished with a bed, a cupboard, a table and chair and a bookshelf. The married accommodation is also furnished accordingly. The hostel rooms also have a facility of attached washrooms but this facility is only accessible in married accommodation along with a few hostels. In general, shared washrooms and bathrooms are available for the students.
At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. Yes Deepak Chopra is an alumnus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He graduated from institution in the late 1960s before moving to United States in 1970 for further training. He has referred to AIIMS as his alma mater.

Yes Dr Samir Chaudhuri is an alumnus of AIIMS Delhi. He trained as pediatrician, specialising in child nutrition at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi in 1970. He is renowned pediatrician & founder of Child in Need Institute.
