AIIMS Delhi Admission 2025: Dates, Courses, Fees, Eligibility Criteria, Selection, Cutoff

For 2024, AIIMS Delhi R1 closing cut off was 47 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Considered one of the top medical institutes in India, AIIMS gets a lot of support from the government in terms of funding, but what really sets them apart is their dedicated faculty members, extremely low fee, exposure to the field and a lot more. While the private colleges charge extremely hefty fee amounts that even go up to 1 crore for their medical courses, the same can be obtained from AIIMS New Delhi at a tuition fee as low as INR 6,080 for the complete course. Additionally, the institute got ranked at the first position by NIRF in 2022 under the Medical category. 

Yes, AIIMS does offer admission to NRI students. However, there is no seat reserved for them. Seats are available across every course offered at AIIMS Delhi and the requirement for admission across all courses is also similar to that of domestic students applying for the course. 

• MBBS: There is no seat reserved for OCI and NRI candidates. Foreign candidates must have atleast 60% aggregate with PCB and English in Class 12 or equivalent. 
• MSc: The eligibility criteria for the foreign candidates will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidates.
• MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM: A combined merit list of the sponsored/ foreign candidates is made. Seats are allotted purely on merit on the basis of performance in the entrance test

First, candidates must meet BSc eligibility criteria and complete online registration through the official wesbite. Appear for the AIIMS BSc entrance test. Once seats are allotted, pay the first installment of the AIIMS Delhi BSc total fees to confirm the seat. After all the rounds of counselling are held, the institute verifies the documents of all the candidates who have been allocated a seat. Such candidates must carry all the important documents to the campus for verification purposes.

The top courses offered at AIIMS Delhi include MBBS, BSc Nursing, MD, MS, and several other courses. MBBS is the flagship programme of AIIMS Delhi offered for a duration of five and a half years. The MBBS course curriculum also includes a 12-month long, compulsory internship. AIIMS Delhi students get a chance to do an internship at the associated hospital of the institute. i.e., AIIMS Hospital Delhi.

AIIMS Delhi paramedical cutoff 2024 was concluded for a few UG courses. These courses include B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant, Bachelor of Optometry (BOPTM) and Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT). The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were closed at a range of 132 and 856. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 150 and 1108. For the EWS AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 62 and 1158.

AIIMS Delhi offers MSc Nursing, MSc in Paramedical Courses and MBiotechnology to students at the postgraduate level. The MSc in Nursing and MSc in Paramedical Courses in seven and eight specialisations, respectively. These are as follows:

AIIMS Delhi Nursing cutoff 2024 was released for admission to BSc and MSc specialisations in nursing. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to All India and Home State quota candidates. Among the General AI category candidates, the last round closing ranks varied between 2 and 280. Therefore, it is possible to get admission at 70 rank, however, the only specialisation available at this rank is B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing. Among the General HS category candidates, the last round closing ranks varied between 35 and 174. Among the General HS category candidates, the specialisations offered at 70 rank are M.Sc. in Oncological Nursing, M.Sc. in Nursing ( Neuro Sciences Nursing), M.Sc. in Nursing ( Nephrological Nursing ) and M.Sc. in Nursing ( Psychiatric Nursing ). 

INR 6,100 is the total fee for MBBS at AIIMS, Delhi.  This fee does not include various other charges, such as hostel charges, transportation charges, and others. AIIMS Delhi OBC category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MSc specialisations on the basis of AIIMS PG. The last round closing ranks for the OBC AI category candidates were closed between 7 and 22. To get admission to AIIMS Delhi for MSc courses, candidates can opt for admission through AIIMS PG. The cutoff for the same was released for different categories of candidates belonging to the All India quota. For the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks varied between 1 and 6. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks closed between 7 and 22. For the SC AI category candidates, the range of cutoff for various MSc specialisations was 6 and 27. For the EWS AI category candidates, the cutoff was closed at 42. 

AIIMS Delhi EWS category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MBBS on the basis of NEET UG exam results. The last round cutoff was closed at 214. In 2023 and 2022, the closing ranks among the EWS AI category were 258 and 195, respectively. Therefore, looking at the cutoff ranks, it was evident that the cutoff has been fluctuating among the EWS category canidates since the past three years. 

The AIIMS Delhi Paramedical cutoff 2024 for the BSc courses at the undergraduate level has been released for last round. The AIIMS Delhi cutoff 2024 is ranged between 132 to 856 for General AI students. According to AIIMS Delhi BSc cutoff 2024, The most competitive course for the General AI category is Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) with the last round cutoff of 132. Similarly, for the OBC category, the most competitive course is again Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) with a Last Round cutoff of 150. AIIMS Delhi OBC category cutoff 2024 for admission on the basis of AIIMS Nursing was closed between 13 and 1697 for the OBC AI category candidates,  during the last round. The most difficult specialisation was M.Sc. in Nursing (Critical Care Nursing), for which last round closing rank was 13. On the other hand, the easiest specialisation was B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing, with the last round cutoff of 1697.
