Honest review of AKGEC Ghaziabad.
Placements: The placement rate is around 70 to 80% students placed from the course. The top recruiting companies are like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture. They offer various roles like engineering designer, etc. There are various types of internships on the campus.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities with different types of labs, classrooms equipped and many libraries. Labs for Mechanical Engineering are described as well-maintained and sufficient for each, with fast Wi-Fi. A canteen is good, it can be improved further as there are different types of snacks available.
Faculty: Lecturers are mostly well-educated and knowledgeable, with many holding a PhD and M.Tech degrees. This course is relevant, and students are ready for the industry. Exams are hard, we should prepare well for exams, and the pass percentage is like 75% to 80%.
Other: They are lack of events on campus, and there is no big fest, but education is good.

Overall experience in this college is average.
Placements: This year 65 percent of students got placed. The placement scenario is not going very well. As many big companies have not come this year. The highest package is about 32 LPA in Uber and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA in Infosys. Average package offered is 4LPA.
Infrastructure: My college has a very unique infrastructure. It is based on German architecture. Our college has very good labs and all types of machines are available. Our college also has KUKA robotics to give hand on experience to students participating there. College places great importance on Sports.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very highly qualified. Their way of explaining any topic is quite good but not all are same. Our college follows AKTU curriculum. I would not be very good at making industry ready but to some extent. Pass percentage is 40 percent and it is not very difficult to pass the exam.
Other: I chose this college because at my rank in JEE Main this college is the best of what I am getting. Maintaining 75 percent criteria should be removed and College must start giving NOC from second year itself. There are no fest or any major events in college. Majorly only freshers and farewell are conducted.

Good college, if you work hard you can get a good placement, good infrastrusture and no network.
Placements: The college placements are not too good, but you can always apply off-campus. The average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. The college does not provide any internships, there are just a few teachers who can help and advise you regarding it. The highest package is 1.13 CPA, and the lowest I don’t know.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, air-conditioners are present in classes. Wi-Fi is not present, this is the worst thing about my college, nowhere Wi-Fi is there. The college is present on the outskirts of Ghaziabad, and there is no network, nothing is present. The hostels are okay but no air-conditioners are present, and bathrooms are a bit dirty. It is very strict for girls, like very strict.
Faculty: Faculty are just teaching for the sake of teaching, like they are not interested. You can use phones in class or play games or sleep, they don’t care. But if you listen, they will teach okay, and some will help you. Semester exams are held frequently.
Other: I am interested in computers, so I took the course. The best, or I don't know, the worst maybe, is that you have to do everything on your own. Now it’s your perspective how you want to take it. Work on your own, learn to code, etc. There are no fests, only a few small activities take place.

Describe the facilities and infrastructure of our college.
Placements: 70 percent of students got placed in this college. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. The most visited companies in this college are Google, TCS, Amazon, and other companies that also come for placement drives. In this college, for our course, there is a 60 percent chance of getting an internship in the 3rd year of the course. The top role in this course is development and machine learning.
Infrastructure: Our department provides lots of infrastructure like 24-hour Wi-Fi, labs, and smart classes. The quality of the hostel is good, but the mess and canteen are not good. All types of medical facilities are available, like 24-hour doctors. All types of sports are available here.
Faculty: Most faculty are well-educated and knowledgeable. All have completed their Ph.D. and M.Tech. Their teaching quality is good, but they are very fast. All the course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester examinations are easy, and the pass percentage is 40.

About Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College life.
Placements: I took a mechanical course in engineering in college. The maximum students was preferred for CSE or ECE but I chose mechanical engineering. In my course there were less students. We had very good placements in my college. Many students got internships in their 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The actual facilities were here. In my college, there was not much more about beauty, somewhat good but not bad. Classrooms and hostel rooms were good. Some canteens were available, and a medical clinic was also there for all the students, staff, and others. On some days, we had sports classes.
Faculty: Professors were very helpful to students while teaching and in any other interactions or any issues in college. They asked the students and solved their problems in a friendly way. The best faculty I got here in my college. They were very experienced and all knew about how to teach subjects or other society activities. Semester exams were fully elite to students. All students were very advanced in their studies in their subjects. The maximum students passed in every year.

A nerdy college with zero events.
Placements: 70% of students are placed in my college in the CSE branch. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is around 20 LPA in CSE. Top recruiting companies in our college are Google, Amazon, Tata, Microsoft, Mahindra, etc. The top roles offered in my branch in my college are software developer, data scientist, ML engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The campus is full of greenery and has a happy environment. The faculty is also very nice. Especially, labs are well-equipped and assistants are available for doubts. The food quality in the canteen is very good, and in the hostel, it is better than any other hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and always ready to help. Although there is strictness in this college regarding attendance as it is needed 75%. But overall, the college is good. The semester exams in this college are of course more difficult than AKTU main exams. But I would rather want to conclude that AKTU checking is really very bad and you would definitely need to give your answer sheet for rechecking, which is paid.
Other: This is a minus point of this college that there is nearly no fest in this college, only freshers is given, and after that, there is nothing.

If you scored around 5 lakh in JEE Mains, admission at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering college (Ghaziabad) is almost impossible even for civil or mechanical branch since their closing ranks go way beyond.
