The infrastructure is average. Some faculty are good. A larger crowd has made the college worse.
Placements: There are about Rs. 1,500 students in a batch but due to strict policy for seeking on-campus placement and disciplinary action on some. About are eligible to sit during the on-placement drive, out of which 700-800 get the job but not at a higher package or you can say that they don't get their dream package. Overall placement is only dependent on yourself, or getting ready to acquire 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms in the academic building are good. The hostel, however, is not acceptable; strict rules apply, and you'll receive a minimum fine of 1k and may even be barred from placement for minor mistakes in the hostel. If you bring any electronic appliances, like an iron or microwave, be prepared to pay at least 1k. The mess is very poor, and the behavior of the mess staff is quite disgusting. It feels as though they are providing us food for free, and their treatment is so bad that I can't express it adequately in words.
Faculty: ach month, you have to participate in a sessional test and sometimes STT. The course curriculum is entirely based on AKTU, which is poorly designed, so that CSE students and those in CSE AIML or CSE-other streams must study the same syllabus for two years. Only 1-3 subjects are electives for specific branches in their pre-final and final years. I am a sophomore in the CSE-other branch, but I haven't encountered any specific curriculum regarding this. No statistics, no R, no Trust, no RAG, just C programming and basic Python in the late second year.
Other: There are no fests. Some events are organized, but only college students who are part of cultural societies perform.

It is not value for money college. Placements are not so good.
Placements: The ongoing placement season is not good. Sales companies are coming more than tech companies. The highest package is not known yet but the lowest package ranges from 2-3 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HCL, etc., visit the college for hiring but they didn't hire as many as they usually do. The more important thing is placements and teachers are not supportive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. There are certain labs in college for different purposes, smart classes, and also a library where we can study. There is no AC or cooler in hostels. If we want you can put up a cooler in the hostel at our own expense and also we have to pay the electricity bill which is around Rs. 900 per month. We can play cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etc. But there is very poor infrastructure for the cricket.
Faculty: AKGEC follows the curriculum set by AKTu. Teachers are good and they often help us. This course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. They have to study on their own for placements. Semester exams are not so difficult to pass but we need to study at least 2-3 days before exams.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about data and this course taught me about data science-related parts. This course should include more practical knowledge than theory so students can be industry-ready.

Full of greenery, great campus, above-average placement, overall good college
Placements: Nearly 60 percent of students got placed after the 6th semester, and out of the rest, 40 percent pursued higher studies. The height was around 30 lakh+ per annum, and the average is about 6 lakh per annum. Amazon,Adobe, and Famapp are some recruiting companies. Many students get internships on the basis of their skills.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very good, design is awesome, library size is remarkable, WiFi is not so good but by using LAN they are good, canteens are above average, mess is not good in hostel, Indo-German hospital is there for medical emergencies of students and staff.
Faculty: Teachers are great here. They are helpful and qualified. There are some exceptions. Also, very few teachers are there whose teaching quality is not good. Semester exams are easy in this college. Students need to focus on their skills to become industry-ready.
Other: I have an interest in this course, that's why I chose this as my branch. The course can be improved if the syllabus is updated by AKTU.

AKGEC- Good and Bad (bad mostly).
Placements: The placement scenario for college is not good. Very few companies are visiting the college and most of them are not providing suitable job roles for students. Even the package offered is not very high. The college is blacklisted by companies like Amazon due to its weirdly strict attendance policy, which doesn't permit students to join jobs in their fourth year. Similarly, no internships are allowed. The average package is 3–4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is not Wi-Fi enabled. Only Labs are provided with Wi-Fi. The keyboard and mouse in the lab are not in good condition. The labs have air conditioning. The classrooms don't have air conditioning and get very hot to sit in during the summer. The library is small for such a large number of students and most of the time we have to wait for someone to empty their seats. The hostels don't have coolers or ACs. The quality of food and water is pathetic.
Faculty: There are too many exams in this college and if you don't perform well, you will get a call at home. In a single semester, there are 2 STs, 1 PUT, and 1 UT. Apart from them, class tests and assignments are there. The faculty on paper are M.Tech. and Ph.D. professionals but they don't have real knowledge and are just focused on ridiculing kids for their attendance and making them mug up theories. The curriculum, too, is outdated and not in alignment with industry standards and requirements. You'll feel bored, as it is nothing related to your field.
Other: There are no major fests organized at the college. No celebrities visit here. Some small Holi-Diwali events do take place. The campus is green and airy.

Big lush green campus, old-fashioned syllabus.
Placements: The college is affiliated with AKTU, so it has brand value, especially when it comes to placements. They claim to have a 100 percent placement ratio, which is neither true nor correct, as they have criteria to sit in placement exams that automatically remove students who are not compatible for it.
Infrastructure: The college is in a large area consisting of a lush green campus but lacks in providing AC as classes don't have AC. In hot summers, it's very difficult for anyone to study with full concentration. Buildings don't have color; don't know what's the reason behind this.
Faculty: Teachers or faculty are supportive if you are disciplined and obedient. They solve issues wherever you are struggling in academics. College exams are quite difficult compared to other colleges of AKTU, which ultimately helps you in the final university exams.
