The college really has good placement and infrastructure, and it really focuses on our skills.
Placements: Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has the best placement record in Delhi NCR and has the latest and well-equipped labs and classrooms. The highest package offered by the college is 1.4 crores. The lowest package is approximately 4 LPA, and the average placement is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has the best classroom and lab with the latest infrastructure, well-equipped lab equipment and the latest machinery for our skills and personality development. College has various societies and tech societies like Robotics, cultural societies like Taal, etc.
Faculty: College teachers and faculty members do help with every study-related problem, and also, the faculty members are very helpful, and regular lectures are conducted by the faculty. College students conduct the regular exam after the completion of the syllabus or chapters.

Placements: 100% girls were placed, overall placement is good. Companies like Infosys and other good companies visit us. College also gives summer internships to students online as well as offline, which makes students job-ready. It also makes us available for various courses abroad.
Infrastructure: We have food infrastructure with labs. Wi-Fi in classrooms and labs. Good library space for self-study. Good food available, sports as well. We have a month-long festival of sports every year, which is an inter-branch sports event. Every technical society also conducts events for competitive coding.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. The course is relevant as well. The pass percentage for college is 40%, which sets the bar high. It is not very difficult to pass semester exams since we have a good faculty that guides us in every difficult situation.
Other: We have a good number of college fests in technical, cultural and sports.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.
Placements: Faculty members are great here, they try to place as many people even at minimal packages. So the number of people placed is higher. The average has dropped significantly. Startups and mass recruiting placements are common. Things are planning to go better as the college is aiming to become autonomous within a few days becoming AKGU.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great with the architecture inspired by Indo-German buildings. Hostels are not available easily. Apply on time in the first year as seats run quickly for the boys' hostel and getting a room in the hostel is hard for people from nearby cities.
Faculty: Faculty members are all experienced here with good guidance. Everyone here is an expert in their field. Even the lab faculty members are really helpful. Exams and curriculum of the 2025-29 batch are all AKTU-based. So as things are not under the direct control of the college, this sometimes causes a problem. Managing your time is a real issue because at some point you might face back-to-back examinations and practicals.
Other: There are no fests. Only events arranged by societies.

It has really good cultural and technical societies.
Placements: There is a dedicated placement and training cell that works on the overall placement process. The average package of this college is around 6 LPA. There are various tech societies that encourage people to develop their skills. Off-campus placement is also supported here.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good. It has a unique blend of greenery and modern aesthetics. Classrooms have ACs, Wi-Fi and a very big central library. There are some spots that are the centre of attention for freshers, like the amphitheatre, mechanical canteen, and civil lawn.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very supportive and helpful. They are highly qualified, and they motivate students to improve their skills and promote research-based preparations. The curriculum of this college is highly relevant, and it provides various free courses apart from just bookish academics. Here, personality development sessions and training placement programs are just wow.
Other: This college has various cash awards and prizes to keep its students motivated. There are awards for full attendance and high marks. Sports are also well supported here, and there are very good facilities for people who are into sports. There are various cultural societies that make college life fun and interesting.

Should I consider AKGEC over other colleges in UPTU?
Placements: The college offers a decent package with an average of approximately 6 LPA. Especially the CS related branches, companies visit regularly, and the students with a decent skill set get placed with their dream packages. The college provides special training programs throughout the course journey.
Infrastructure: AKGEC college campus is one of the largest campuses with a campus area of more than 40 acres. The college has its own football ground, and boys' and girls' hostels are inside the college campus, making it easier for the students to get to college on time.
Faculty: The college is one of the top colleges in Abdul Kalam Technical University in terms of academic achievements. Every year, AKGEC holds one of its students in the top 5 ranks. The college also provides technical training for skill growth, as well, and the faculty is chill and supportive.
Other: The college has a digital library, a basketball court, and a badminton court. Inter-college sports competitions and also canteen facilities, the college provides the best possible environment not only for studying but also for vibing with your friends.

The placement record is not good for the last 2 years.
Placements: The placement record was not good for the last few years. Companies do not visit the college. We need to get off-campus placements. The average package offered this year in my course is 4 LPA. Around 50 to 60 percent of students got placed from my course.
Infrastructure: This college offers a variety of facilities like a gym, AC classrooms, Wi-Fi-equipped hostel, mess, library, sports ground, and Indo-German Hospital. There are labs for almost every subject, like Physics, Chemistry, computer labs, data lab, and IT lab. There are two major canteens in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice, but the course curriculum is outdated. This college is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) until now, but next year it will be autonomous. From the next year, it may design its own curriculum, excluding the unnecessary subjects like Chemistry.
Other: Campus life is average, and don't expect much from this college. No events and fests are held in this college. The infrastructure is good, but not the best.

Placements: Placements are decent over here. Freshers get an average package of about 5 LPA-6 LPA which is good for a fresher. The highest packages are limited only to the skilled students. Those who really work on their skills like coding, communication, etc., can expect higher packages from here.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and useful for students. Classrooms are clean and have all the basic facilities like fans, a projector, and proper ventilation. Labs are decent and have the required equipment for practical. The library has enough books for study and exam preparation. The campus is clean and well-maintained. Sports and other activity areas are also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. They are ready to help anytime and anywhere. They provide us with all the content to prepare for the exams well. Also the teaching is very good. They explain the concepts in the simplest way possible. The curriculum is also good. Some of the topics are the ones which we had studied in 11th and 12th some are new and can be easily understood.

AKGEC is a good college with a very good reputation.
Placements: Placements are also good. Students who have worked hard in their engineering days can easily get an on-campus job. Mostly good companies visit here so placements are decent. Students must satisfy the placement criteria to sit in placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise AKGEC is far ahead compared to other colleges in Ghaziabad. The building has been designed in such a way that it accommodates maximum students and they look good for real. College has Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, etc. There is good greenery and security around the campus.
Faculty: Academic has always been the USP of AKGEC. Professors are well-qualified and job-ready workshops are conducted frequently. The curriculum is designed in such a manner that it keeps students up to date on emerging technologies. So students need not worry about academics.
Other: AKGEC is a value-for-money kind of college. Their fee structure is affordable for the middle class. So students don't face any hardships paying fees. It feels that my money spent has its worth here. Campus life is overall decent. Clubs and societies regularly conduct events. There are a good number of cafeterias so students can enjoy and hang out with their friends. Various cultural societies and technical societies are present and it welcomes ideas suggested by students. I am a proud AKGECian and will always cherish my experience here.

Hi Vishnu, you can get admission in AKGEC for computer science if you could manage UPSEE rank under 4k. Since CS department has enough seats you can also apply for admission on the basis of your board percentage along with JEE Mains marks and UPSEE rank, if your upsee rank is above 4k.
