Review of Ajay kumar engineering college.

Placements: This year, the placement was very decent. About 90% of students get placed, but the average package is 4 LPA. The placement is decent in CS/IT branches. The top companies that visited the college were Amazon, Walmart, TCS, Wipro, etc. The highest package is about 34 LPA this year, and the college has a training and placement cell that offers great opportunities for internships and placements.

Infrastructure: The college has average infrastructure. You can't imagine lavish labs or classrooms, but they are okay. Labs have Wi-Fi and AC, and this year, every classroom has an inbuilt AC. There is a central library that is fully AC with a nice seating area. The hostel does not have AC, and the mess food is okay. In summer, you may feel very hot, so you will need to buy a cooler and pay the electricity bill for it.

Faculty: Faculty members and curriculum are good. Teachers are supportive and help students. Faculty members are always supportive if you have to study and help with you a lot. The college conducts three exams, two sessional tests, and one pre-university exam each semester. So, there are a lot of exams, and they help you prepare for the university exams. However, the AKTU exams are unpredictable, so anything can happen.

Other: My course is IT. If you get any CS-related branches or ECE, just go for it because the crowd is huge 1500 students take admission every year. To get great opportunities, you have to be different from others. There are many college clubs (technical and cultural) you can try to get into. The crowd is okay. The college holds many events but no cultural fest. There is a chance to get a scholarship from the UP government of about Rs.60,000 every year.

Overall college is good with decent placements and a crowd.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. Packages are also good average. They are between 4-5 lacs per annum. Various companies hire from the college I don't know more about internships as it's my first year but due to my experience we shall be provided with that too and there was a package of 1 crore.

Infrastructure: The college has good classes and labs. The hostel too is good with decent Wi-Fi. The mess and medical facilities are there at the college. They have their own hospital and issue cards for sports. The library provides all sort of books to cover your subject interest along this extracurricular.

Faculty: Our teachers are good and helpful. They have completed their M.Tech or Ph.D. The teaching quality is good. They make students industry ready. The college conduct many exams on monthly basis named ST or STT and we are provided a good level of questions to solve.

AKGEC is good but it has very strict rules.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students are placed and some do internships in the third and fourth year. The highest package in 2023 was 1.2 crore and the average package was 4.5 LPA. Many companies visit colleges like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are overall good, and the college infrastructure is inspired by Indogerman. There are many branches, and the college offers additional courses for interested students. Students can enroll in these courses in their second year and will receive a certificate from the college upon completion. Thank you.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. All the teachers are dedicated to helping students. They explain concepts very well, and most of them hold doctoral degrees. Many of the faculty members have backgrounds in government jobs, and some have experience in the Army or Air Force. As a result, the college has strict rules and primarily focuses on academic excellence.

All about exploring AKGEC.

Placements: The placement cell decides the criteria on which the student are shortlisted to apply for interviews. The criteria is based on CGPA attendance and many more. On this basis half of the students are out of the race and the placement ratio is balanced. The highest package is 38 LPA this year, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities are provided such as labs and good Wi-Fi connectivity. They also provide a sports complex for various sports. There are many technical and cultural societies for the overall development of the students. There are decent facilities in hostel. There is an accommodation of 3 seater rooms. Rooms are spacious. There are strict rules and many restrictions in the hostel for girls. However, Wi-Fi sometimes don't work properly and warden does not care about it. They do not get it fixed.

Faculty: Faculty members here are knowledgeable and all have done their masters and Ph.D. in their specialized subjects. They clear the doubts of students. They are helpful if students need help whether in academics or for any kind of competition like hackathons.

Less fees with good placements.

Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities. Last year approximately 80% of students were placed. Placements of mechanical branch are 98%. The average salary offered in CSE/IT branch ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest package is around 39 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. In our college, top companies like Infosys, HCL, and TCS are mass recruiters. Many companies visit like New-gen, Capgemini, etc., for various roles.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. We have greenery all around. We have Wi-Fi facilities in labs, library, and hostel. Labs are well-equipped with well-qualified lab assistants. Classrooms are clean and spacious. Lightning is good. We don't have AC in our classes, but available in labs and library. Hostel facility is good. Mess provides average food. But there are lot of restrictions in the hostel. We have our own hospital for medical facilities.

Faculty: Teachers here are qualified enough. They take their classes regularly. They provide us with great quality notes and study materials. Some teachers provide us with various PYQ and answer chapter-wise. They help us to clear our doubts. We have extra classes too for academic weak students. The curriculum is not relevant enough to make us industry-ready. Our college follows AKTU syllabus. Semester exams are average in difficulty and merely one or two people fail in classes.

Other: Our college is best private college with A+ accreditation by NAAC. My percentile was not good enough for higher-ranked NITs so, I chose this one. I am doing B.Tech in IT. My course provides knowledge about various technologies. I want my course to be more industrial-based rather than theory based. The college conducts many fests like freshers party, farewell party, Holi party, Diwali fest, book fair, kite flying festival, Garba night in hostels, etc. Our college also conducts inter sports competitions and participates in zonal too.
