College Life in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.
Placements: If I go two years back, there are approximately 84% placements in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. However, there are fewer placements during times of recession. The average package is 5.5 LPA and the highest is 1.2 crore. Top recruiters like Amazon and Adobe come for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and a massive campus. It has the biggest campus in Ghaziabad. The college has a football ground and many sports facilities. The canteen and mess in the college are hygienic.
Faculty: Personally, I am not impressed with the curriculum, as it is too old and should be improved. The faculty in the college is helpful and has good knowledge in their fields. There are monthly sessional exams in the college, which are too tiring.
Other: There are fewer fests and events in college, and it is too strict.

The College Life At AKGEC.
Placements: Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has good placements compared to other AKTU University colleges. There is a good average package of 6 lakhs, but during times of recession, placements are low. There is a placement cell that guides students for placements.
Infrastructure: Ajay Kumar Engineering College has a huge college campus compared to other engineering colleges in Ghaziabad. There are all major facilities, such as grounds for sports, hostels, a cafe, a canteen, gyms, etc. It is also in a good location near the highway.
Faculty: Some of the faculty are excellent and support you a lot in academics. But there are also some faculty members that will make your college experience worse. There are some faculty who will give you a lot of assignments. If I talk about academics, the curriculum is still the same old one.
Other: There are 80 seats in each branch. This college is too strict, and there will be no college life. There will be strictness regarding attendance, and you will not be able to bunk a lot. There are not many college fests.

The college placement opportunities are excellent.
Placements: Approximately 75 percent of students are placed in the placements. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruitment companies like TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra offer roles such as senior manager and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The college provides many facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, labs, and sports facilities. The quality of hostel facilities is excellent. The courses and college environment prepare students well for placements, internships, and the GATE exam.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very knowledgeable and have high-quality teaching skills. The courses are relevant for students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are beneficial; if you score well, you will be awarded a cash prize.
Other: I want to choose this course because I aim to become a good engineer.

Very good college in AKTU. Good faculty, decent placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: At this time, placements are not very good, as this scene continues in all other colleges too. So, I would not blame my college. Moreover, there have been two placements consecutively of 1 crore or more this year and the previous year, obviously, which were off-campus, but this year too, more than 90% of the students are placed.
Infrastructure: There are AC. labs for the Computer Science department. The library is also fully air-conditioned with a digital library for the students to study with computers that have real-time internet facilities and Wi-Fi too. In the hostel, the food is decent, not very good, not very bad, and there is Wi-Fi and a LAN available.
Faculty: Faculty is very friendly with students and, above all. They are very hardworking. Students can easily clear their doubts with faculty. All teachers have a minimum of 10–15 years of teaching experience. Some have around 20–25 years of experience. They also have a good understanding of the AKTU exam pattern.
Other: I'm pursuing a B.Tech. in the Computer Science branch from this college. I joined in 2022 and will graduate in 2026.

AKGEC : The Aesthetic Place.
Placements: About 70–80% students get placed every year The highest package was 36 LPA, the lowest package was 2 LPA, and the average package is 5–6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, and Wipro. The internship situation is bad here. The top roles offered are software developer, app developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are really good here; we get Wi-Fi, a LAN connection, a library, etc. in our course. Labs are also good, with good-quality machines and lab equipment here. The hostel also has every kind of facility; we have Wi-Fi, LAN connections, a canteen, a hospital sports ground, both indoor and outdoor facilities and mess food that is healthy and tasty.
Faculty: The professors here are highly qualified, helpful and knowledgeable; they also teach very well. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant but they need to give students more practical knowledge. Semester exams are easy to moderate and the passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted computer science and engineering and there is nothing best about this course. You know, I am just cursing myself for choosing this course. They should improve the placement cell of this course. No fest here and about events like freshers and farewell parties happen.
