I am dissatisfied because of the higher administration attitude and their rules and regulations.

Placements: Only 60% of students get placed in companies, and out of which 90% got a package of below 5 LPA. The college is very strict about attendance. The average package is 5.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Signal strength is very low. There is no AC in classrooms. Only limited lifts are available with a full crowd. Enough greenery is available. The campus is spread over 44 acres. The college has 2 canteens. There is a decent library with no Wi-Fi. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students all over the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are good. Many teachers are doctorates in their subjects. First-year, faculty members are the best, and after that, faculty quality is degraded. There are a lot of exams called St's and PUT, which are organised by the college to disturb students' extra skills activities. The internal exam standard is good enough.

Other: It never encourages extracurricular activities. There is no fest in college and only a fresher party is a major fest with no guests.

The college is disciplined about studies more focus on CGPA.

Placements: I am giving the data for years 23-24. A total of 290 companies visited for campus placement. For B.Teach it is around 245. For MCA 80 companies. The average salary is 5 LPA and the highest salary is 38 LPA. This college is famous for the highest 1.13 crores offered in 2022.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of my college are pretty good. Now all the classroom is fully AC. The infrastructure is also good for disabled people. The library timing is pretty flexible for boys and it is fully AC. Wi-Fi and labs are functioning properly.

Faculty: Some teachers are great but some are not. The teaching is more theoretical according to the university exam. College is more focused on CGPA. There is no extra effort for GATE and coding. Some technical societies in the college are very good.

Other: I joined through AKTU counseling. I chose this course because I got a tuition fee waiver seat which relaxed my tuition fees. No fest here. Only some small events are being organized by college cultural societies.

College Life in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: If I go two years back, there are approximately 84% placements in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. However, there are fewer placements during times of recession. The average package is 5.5 LPA and the highest is 1.2 crore. Top recruiters like Amazon and Adobe come for placements.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and a massive campus. It has the biggest campus in Ghaziabad. The college has a football ground and many sports facilities. The canteen and mess in the college are hygienic.

Faculty: Personally, I am not impressed with the curriculum, as it is too old and should be improved. The faculty in the college is helpful and has good knowledge in their fields. There are monthly sessional exams in the college, which are too tiring.

Other: There are fewer fests and events in college, and it is too strict.

The College Life At AKGEC.

Placements: Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has good placements compared to other AKTU University colleges. There is a good average package of 6 lakhs, but during times of recession, placements are low. There is a placement cell that guides students for placements.

Infrastructure: Ajay Kumar Engineering College has a huge college campus compared to other engineering colleges in Ghaziabad. There are all major facilities, such as grounds for sports, hostels, a cafe, a canteen, gyms, etc. It is also in a good location near the highway.

Faculty: Some of the faculty are excellent and support you a lot in academics. But there are also some faculty members that will make your college experience worse. There are some faculty who will give you a lot of assignments. If I talk about academics, the curriculum is still the same old one.

Other: There are 80 seats in each branch. This college is too strict, and there will be no college life. There will be strictness regarding attendance, and you will not be able to bunk a lot. There are not many college fests.

Placements: Approximately 75 percent of students are placed in the placements. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruitment companies like TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra offer roles such as senior manager and software engineer.

Infrastructure: The college provides many facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, labs, and sports facilities. The quality of hostel facilities is excellent. The courses and college environment prepare students well for placements, internships, and the GATE exam.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are very knowledgeable and have high-quality teaching skills. The courses are relevant for students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are beneficial; if you score well, you will be awarded a cash prize.
