The campus is good with decent placements. Faculty members are average.
Placements: 70 to 75 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered on campus is 36 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are HCL, TCS, Infosys, Info Edge, etc. More than 80 percent of students got internships in my course. Roles offered in my course are developer, data analyst, designer, and AI ML engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available, such as good Wi-Fi, decent labs, and an average library. It is a good place. New classrooms are really good. Hostels are really good, but there are a lot of restrictions for boys, especially girls in the hostel. The food is also decent. There is a football ground, a basketball court, a badminton court, and one more ground. The food in the hostel is just average. Medical facilities are good, especially at this college.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful, and they are qualified. Teaching quality is just average. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not really tough. The pass percentage is around 60 to 70 percent, depending on the class-to-class students.
Other: My reason for choosing this course is its relevance till now. The best thing about my course is that it gives hands-on experience. A compulsory internship could be one thing that can be better. The campus crowd is decent. The campus is really good. There are a lot of options in extracurricular activities, like every day we have a chance to work on our own project. Scholarships are available, which is around 50 percent of the fee.

The placement record is not good for the last 2 years.
Placements: The placement record was not good for the last few years. Companies do not visit the college. We need to get off-campus placements. The average package offered this year in my course is 4 LPA. Around 50 to 60 percent of students got placed from my course.
Infrastructure: This college offers a variety of facilities like a gym, AC classrooms, Wi-Fi-equipped hostel, mess, library, sports ground, and Indo-German Hospital. There are labs for almost every subject, like Physics, Chemistry, computer labs, data lab, and IT lab. There are two major canteens in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice, but the course curriculum is outdated. This college is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) until now, but next year it will be autonomous. From the next year, it may design its own curriculum, excluding the unnecessary subjects like Chemistry.
Other: Campus life is average, and don't expect much from this college. No events and fests are held in this college. The infrastructure is good, but not the best.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.
Placements: This college invites many companies, but the placement stands average in comparison to other colleges in Ghaziabad. The college is trying to do great, but the change will come slowly as the college transitions into a university. Otherwise, placements are average.
Infrastructure: The overall structure of the college is good, with greenery as well as the Indo-German architecture, which is used here. There are libraries and all good labs. It has a lush green campus. The hostel facility is not easily available, and it is a little bit of luck that people apply here. Only students who live very far actually get a hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are very helpful. They also help in placements as well as in all subjects that we get in the university examination. The course curriculum is actually based on the university-provided curriculum, which is a problem because it sometimes stands outdated according to current industry trends. Exams are almost every month here. Every four months, there are university examinations.
Other: There are no events and fests. There are only events arranged by societies.

I suggest students come here if it is their best option out there.
Placements: The college always tells us that it has amazing placement figures. I would like to tell students that those figures are old and nothing similar happens. Placements are average. The old placement cell was better, and the new one is just bad. I would say we would have to work on our own towards placements, and that's how we would get placements there.
Infrastructure: I would say AKGEC infrastructure is the best among colleges in Noida/Ghaziabad. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The campus is spread over 40 acres and is still under construction as it is set to become a university. The hostel is good, and better than what we would find outside (like PGs, etc.)
Faculty: Some teachers are always good. Most of them are just bad at teaching and everything. The teaching quality is okay, but lectures are too much to handle. The course curriculum is outdated, and we will have to study every subject we don't need. For example, I am a Computer Science student, and I have to study subjects like Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical, etc. Even engineering drawing is there.
Other: I chose this course because it is the best value for money I could find, and I had no other options left. AKTU has a very outdated course curriculum, and they should have things that make students industry-ready. There are no such things as fests, etc. It only makes us study, and we would get freshers and a small event if we are lucky enough. The crowd is decent, and we would find tech enthusiasts here.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.
Placements: Faculty members are great here, they try to place as many people even at minimal packages. So the number of people placed is higher. The average has dropped significantly. Startups and mass recruiting placements are common. Things are planning to go better as the college is aiming to become autonomous within a few days becoming AKGU.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great with the architecture inspired by Indo-German buildings. Hostels are not available easily. Apply on time in the first year as seats run quickly for the boys' hostel and getting a room in the hostel is hard for people from nearby cities.
Faculty: Faculty members are all experienced here with good guidance. Everyone here is an expert in their field. Even the lab faculty members are really helpful. Exams and curriculum of the 2025-29 batch are all AKTU-based. So as things are not under the direct control of the college, this sometimes causes a problem. Managing your time is a real issue because at some point you might face back-to-back examinations and practicals.
Other: There are no fests. Only events arranged by societies.

College is good in terms of discipline and other things, but the worst is college life & placement.
Placements: In my college, there are 180 students in the CS branch, as there is a very high demand for Computer Science in this modern world. The placement record of this year is the worst. Approximately 200 students are placed on campus. This college is good for discipline and maintaining skills, but not for placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good, like hostels for boys and girls are different and 1st year hostel and other hostels are different, but the ragging usually happens, so you should refer to the PG behind the railway track or Ryan Public School. Mess in college is good, breakfast is okay.
Faculty: In this college, the professors are not usually helpful unless you are in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year. In the 4th year, professors are very helpful and very well qualified, as they all have done Ph.D. from some good, reputable college, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose CS because of demand, but if you have an option like other colleges, you should prefer them because this college is very strict in terms of attendance and numbers. I will ask them to lower their strictness.
