Very strict college. Very monotonous college life. Bad faculties, and a very bad fine culture.

Placements: My batch has not passed out yet. But after talking to our senior, all I can say is that companies from a web dev background are coming, but along with that, non-technical background companies are also coming. College, as per my knowledge, does not provide any useful skill-based courses. They are forcing students to complete an internship by hook or crook. They don't care about it. Placement cell is not that active. There is a dip in number of placements from previous trends.

Infrastructure: Right now, installation of AC is going on. In lecture theatres of first year, ACs will start working from this year. There is a capacity of 75 students in every lecture theatre. Quality of food in hostel is not good. Recently, a cockroach was found. Matter was so serious that even FASSCI had to visit. Students who complain about quality of food are being imposed a fine of 500 rupees each. Administration is very strict to students but careless in ensuring food quality norms.

Faculty: Teachers of first year are quite average, but teachers of second year are very poor. There was a teacher named XXXX, who never taught COA in her life, suddenly came from RKGIT Kanpur to AKGEC to teach second year. She totally screwed me in COA. She doesn't teach anything. Python teacher was a lab assistant earlier and suddenly became a professor due to a shortage of teachers. Only two classes of Python in a week, and even in that, he took leave many times. Only scrolls PPTs, doesn't teach anything. Teachers are very bad at teaching.

Other: College doesn't organize any fest. Every engineering college organises a fest, but they don't. All they can do is organise a freshers' party for first-year students. For which they ask money from us in second year. Next year, when we are in our third year, they will ask for money for a pass out party for 4th year. They ask 1000 rupees. It is compulsory for everyone. Fine on late submission of fee, late submission of library books, fine on coming late to college, fine on making proxy in class, fine on UFM cases.

Overall, college is decent.

Placements: College placements are decent. There are some companies that visit every year and some companies recruit in bulk quantity there. Most promising company is Infosys. They also provide training in Infosys in comparison to other AKTU colleges. Placements are okay.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is really beautiful. Classes are well-maintained and each class is provided with a smart board. The greenery of this college is really amazing. Space wise it is one of the biggest AKTU college, having area of 40 acres.

Faculty: Faculty members of this college are decent. You can ask doubts and they will help you. College takes too much exams before the final UT. It will help you to learn the things so that you don't feel that much pressure in your UT exams. Overall, college is decent.

Just a few words by an introvert girl of AKGEC.

Placements: Placement is not so good. College shows there is 100% placement but that is not the truth. Only students who are above average get placed not everyone gets placement over here and only if we study then we get a job. So don't depend on anyone.

Infrastructure: The college is average. Hostel food is below average, but we can't compare it with homemade food. If we are someone who can adjust a bit, then we can adjust here also, we won't have many problems. So, we can choose this college.

Faculty: The difficulty level of our course is more than average, especially in the starting year we find it difficult. But with time we know how to study and get decent marks. But the number of students in our course is high so we have a good competition.

Other: This college doesn't have any such events that we enjoy a lot. There are no fests at all.

Placements: About 80 to 90 percent of students who are selected for campus placement are placed in jobs and internships in companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, and Amazon. The highest package can vary, but the average package is around 4.5 to 5 LPA. Most companies are service-based, but some are product-based, which offer roles like SD, HR, and other significant roles too. Overall, the college has average to decent placement scenarios.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, with proper classes for each department and year. There are good labs for core branches like KUKA Robotics and Bosch Car Lab. Classes are non-AC, so you have to manage in the summers. The hostel costs around 1.25 lakhs per year, which is not worth it. Rooms are decent, but the food is below average; you will have to take outside dietary supplements. You can prefer PG rooms too outside the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are good and highly qualified; some of them are very helpful. You can take advice from your teachers. The course curriculum is not well-suited; lots of changes are needed. There should be more practical work in the course in place of theory subjects. Semester exams are of moderate level according to the university examination.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in CSE and the development field, and I love to study those things. The course should be more practical; there is no need for that much theory in courses like Computer Science. There are not many campus fests; mostly 2 to 3 small fests are held by the college, and clubs participate in outside college fests. Scholarships are available as per AKTU notice.

Placements: My college has a good placement scenario. The highest package is 33 lacs. The average package is 4.5 lacs. Also, college provides mentorship sessions before the company placement for clearing aptitude sessions and group discussion rounds. The college provides mock interviews.

Infrastructure: The college provides good library support, which is open from 8am to 9pm daily. The library has a large range of books. The college also has greenery on the campus, and the hostel infrastructure is also good, with average-quality food. Generally, 1st year students take hostels.

Faculty: The faculty the college provides are fabulous. They are always supportive in nature. Also, they have done a PhD, and they are professors or assistant professors. The college curriculum is designed by AKTU. The college conducts exams every month known as the Sessional Test.
