The campus is good with decent placements. Faculty members are average.

Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful, and they are qualified. Teaching quality is just average. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not really tough. The pass percentage is around 60 to 70 percent, depending on the class-to-class students.

The placement record is not good for the last 2 years.

Faculty: Faculty members are nice, but the course curriculum is outdated. This college is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) until now, but next year it will be autonomous. From the next year, it may design its own curriculum, excluding the unnecessary subjects like Chemistry.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are very helpful. They also help in placements as well as in all subjects that we get in the university examination. The course curriculum is actually based on the university-provided curriculum, which is a problem because it sometimes stands outdated according to current industry trends. Exams are almost every month here. Every four months, there are university examinations.

I suggest students come here if it is their best option out there.

Faculty: Some teachers are always good. Most of them are just bad at teaching and everything. The teaching quality is okay, but lectures are too much to handle. The course curriculum is outdated, and we will have to study every subject we don't need. For example, I am a Computer Science student, and I have to study subjects like Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical, etc. Even engineering drawing is there.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Faculty: Faculty members are all experienced here with good guidance. Everyone here is an expert in their field. Even the lab faculty members are really helpful. Exams and curriculum of the 2025-29 batch are all AKTU-based. So as things are not under the direct control of the college, this sometimes causes a problem. Managing your time is a real issue because at some point you might face back-to-back examinations and practicals.

College is good in terms of discipline and other things, but the worst is college life & placement.

Faculty: In this college, the professors are not usually helpful unless you are in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year. In the 4th year, professors are very helpful and very well qualified, as they all have done Ph.D. from some good, reputable college, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

I am satisfied with the college.

Faculty: The internal exams are taken monthly till one month before the final end sem exams but the final end sem exams are finalized by AKTU, which takes a lot of time i.e keeps on postponing the exam every time. The study is according to the curriculum and the subject, the passing percentage is basically that who do not get 5 to 6 back in a year.

Satisfied with the service.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and the exams are taken at regular basis. But sometimes the exams are postponed for over a month as AKTU passes the notice for end sem exams. So, the exams are scheduled to start from some date, but as the date arrives, it gets postponed by AKTU.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty and curriculum.

Faculty: Curriculum is very old. It has no skills-based or research-based content. The curriculum strictly follows AKTU guidelines, emphasising theory, labs, minor projects, and a final-year major project. The exam system includes two sessional tests and a pre-university test (PUT) per semester, followed by AKTU end-semester exams. Attendance rules are strict. Overall, AKGEC provides a disciplined academic environment with decent placements, making it a good option among AKTU colleges.

You can take admission here if you are close to JEE Main cutoff, never direct quota.

Faculty: Teachers are skilled, especially lab teachers. It provides students industry-ready. Course is relevant, and they also provide some extra efforts in that. This college very much focuses on academics, so passing percentage is very good, almost everyone passes here. In academics, I would rate it 5.

Overall, a good private college in the NCR region.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are good and can help anytime if you want, but some of them have rude behaviour. Almost all have great knowledge, and the teaching method is also good. We all know the AKTU curriculum is outdated, and we have to study it. The course is not curriculum-relevant. It does not make a student industry-ready, you have to make yourself industry-ready by doing so.

Honest review of AKGEC Ghaziabad.

Faculty: Lecturers are mostly well-educated and knowledgeable, with many holding a PhD and M.Tech degrees. This course is relevant, and students are ready for the industry. Exams are hard, we should prepare well for exams, and the pass percentage is like 75% to 80%.

Overall experience in this college is average.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very highly qualified. Their way of explaining any topic is quite good but not all are same. Our college follows AKTU curriculum. I would not be very good at making industry ready but to some extent. Pass percentage is 40 percent and it is not very difficult to pass the exam.

Good college, if you work hard you can get a good placement, good infrastrusture and no network.

Faculty: Faculty are just teaching for the sake of teaching, like they are not interested. You can use phones in class or play games or sleep, they don’t care. But if you listen, they will teach okay, and some will help you. Semester exams are held frequently.

Describe the facilities and infrastructure of our college.

Faculty: Most faculty are well-educated and knowledgeable. All have completed their Ph.D. and M.Tech. Their teaching quality is good, but they are very fast. All the course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester examinations are easy, and the pass percentage is 40.
