Best phase in a student’s life.

Placements: Almost 80% of students will be placed in our college. It offers a good placement for the students with an average of 6 LPA. The highest is 48 LP, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The companies that come to our college are Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. 50% are joining internships, and roles like software development are offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in the college with a good network in every corner of our college, and the quality of the food is okay. All types of food are available in our college, like non-veg or veg, Chinese food, and Indian food of all types. Many games are played in our college.

Faculty: All the teachers are supportive of the students. They clarify and explain the topics and each and every step. They will come and ask the students if they have any doubts. However, the course is quite old, and it should be upgraded by VTU. The semester exams are average, and the passing percentage of the exam is over 70%.

Placements: AMC Engineering College offers decent infrastructure, good faculty members, and placements mainly in CSE and ECE branches. Top companies like Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys visit. Average package is around 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Placement support can vary by branch. Placements are good here.

Infrastructure: Campus has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a good library. Hostels are clean with basic amenities. Mess food is decent, and the canteen is affordable. Medical help is available. Sports facilities include cricket, basketball, and indoor games.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and supportive. Teaching quality is good with a practical learning focus. The curriculum is mostly relevant but needs more industry exposure. Exams are moderate in difficulty. Pass percentage is high, around 85-90%. Faculty members are good on campus.

Other: I am from 2023-2027 CSE batch. I chose this course due to my interest in coding. It offers good labs, projects, and placements. More industry exposure would help. The campus is lively with fests, clubs, sports, and is well-connected to the city.

I am not satisfied with this college because of the placement.

Placements: In terms of placements, the percentage is very low, only 2 to 3% of students get placed in this college. Don’t mention the highest or lowest package because those who get placed receive only 3 to 4 LPA. No one gets internships from companies. All students have paid internships only. Lastly, only 4 to 5 students in my college got placed, and they all got trainee developer jobs. This is not a good college for placements. It is average to below average.

Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, it is okay and good. They provide free Wi-Fi only in labs, not in places like classrooms or the canteen. Labs are good, and the staff executes and performs tasks. They provide computers for everyone. Moreover, the library is very good in this college, with all types of related books available. The classrooms are okay, not bad.

Faculty: My thoughts on teaching are positive. Faculty members in the college are helpful and teach to the best of their ability with no compromises. The teaching quality is good. Extracurricular activities take place every month, such as hackathons and exhibitions, which help students. Exams are conducted very strictly without compromise. If you know the subject, you will pass. Otherwise, you will not. There is no copying or cheating during exams. The passing percentage is out of 100, and you must score a minimum of 36 to pass. Otherwise, you fail.

Other: I am doing Computer Science and Engineering with the intention of getting placed. Unfortunately, due to bad luck, I have not been placed yet, but I will try for off-campus placements. Most teachers are non-Kannadigas. So sometimes it is difficult to convey my problems, but otherwise, it is good. Events and fests depend on the college president's decisions. Scholarships are given regularly, and we have no issues with that.

It has good infrastructure. There is a well-maintained and big campus.

Placements: To be honest, about 30-50% of students get placed and others are left unemployed. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Some of the companies that visit the college for on-campus hiring are Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc.

Infrastructure: The building is well-built and maintained correctly. The building has well and cleanly maintained washrooms for both girls and boys. All labs are well-equipped with all the necessary components. All systems are working. Wi-Fi is also available on the campus.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful, supportive, and also encouraging. The college follows the exact course curriculum mentioned by the VTU. Exams are conducted strictly and fairly and in separate examination rooms. CCTV cameras are present in the exam halls.

Placements: In AMC Engineering College, I chose CSE AI/ML in which 70% of students got placed. The highest package offered is more than 25 LPA. The average package offered is 6 LPA-7 LPA, and the median package offered is 5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini visit our college. Among 70% of students got an internship from the CSE department.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in AMC is good. Campus size is 52 acres. Campus is fully cleaned also the campus is green. This college is situated in a new area of Bengaluru. Classrooms are also good and library contains more than 80,000 books from which we can get any books related to our branch. Wi-Fi facilities are also available but sometimes it doesn't work. Hostel rooms are good but food is not up to the mark. Canteen has many types of North Indian/South Indian foods. Medical facilities are there in case of emergency. Sports ground is there but no games for students.

Faculty: In AMC, almost all teachers are well-educated. All of them did masters in their respective subjects. No doubt they have good knowledge and also a good teaching style. Difficulties in semester exams depend on students how are prepared. Also if students just focus on what teachers teach or whatever they are teaching then no need to worry, exams will be fine. As this college runs under VTU University, the passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose CSE AI/ML because of my interest in AI and robotics. While studying in 11th/12th I decided to choose this branch. If placement opportunities get more to students then a maximum of the things will be good. They conduct fest once a year which is Collosseum. In addition, they also celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava, Diwali, and Durga Puja. Campus crowd is like in my branch total of 180 students are there. And all students are friendly to each other.

Dissatisfied with campus placement.

Placements: The college campus is very poor. No company visits often, and even our college does not provide any training on pre-placement. Rarely, one or two companies will visit. Moreover, no internship will be provided by our college, and only a few roles will be offered, like Associate Software Engineer.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is available, and the boys' hostel is good. Wi-Fi will not be provided by our college. Classrooms are average, with no projectors, fans, or light facilities. Hostel food is not good, and the canteen is not clean and properly maintained. But the infrastructure is average.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and they are supportive and friendly. But they won't cover all the portions before the examination; only some parts will be covered. The pass percentage is average, and students are not provided with industry-level experience and training. No industry visits are conducted.

Other: Extracurricular activities are not often conducted. Only two fests are conducted every year: one is the college fest, and another one is Kannada Rajyotsava. Students are not provided with grounds for playing games, and scholarships are also not provided by our college. But students can apply for SSP, which is provided by the Karnataka government.
