Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes (SVGOI) was established in 2004 under the aegis of Sh. Raghunath Rai Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. The SVGOI offers more than 40 courses to students in nine domains. These courses are provided across the Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Education, Law, and various other streams. These courses are offered through nine different colleges under SVGOI. These colleges are affiliated with the I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), and Punjabi University (Patiala).
SVGOI Patiala has a state government university affiliation (Government Degree) and is accredited by the NAAC. The available courses are approved by PCI, NCTE, and AICTE.
