It has limited job prospects.
Placements: Most of the students got hired in the role of public health specialists with an initial pay of 4,36,300 LPA in government agencies, research institutions, and some other organisations. Few of the students worked in various NGOs during their free hours. Career support was comparatively less than in other disciplines.
Faculty: All professional lecturers were doing Ph.D. and few of them had completed Ph.D. degrees oriented to public health. Teachers frequently engage in research and provided guidance to students, steering them toward academic success and helped them stay on the right track. College allowed various researchers to work with the students in coordinating our research papers. They had created a good workplace for searching and conducting webinars and workshops. The college's vibrant ecosystem fueled students' growth with mentorship and innovative resources.

B.Sc. in Cardiac Perfusion Technology - Batch of 2023

Satisfied with the long dreamed course of mine.
Placements: We were continuously hired by multispeciality hospitals like AIIMS in Kochi and some other hospitals in the roles of cardiovascular perfusionist, cardiac specialists, and so on. The remuneration offered by such a hospital would be mostly encouraging and appreciable.
Infrastructure: Various specialized laboratory and clinical facilities were available on the campus. Also required research, reference books, and access to online resources available within the library of the college. Students were more familiar with using libraries than looking for online resources.
Faculty: Teachers not only behave as teachers. They were more friendly to us at all times but they were more casual while assisting us with practical experiments. They clearly explained all the practical work step by step because it lead to gave basic understanding of the subjects we were studying.

Bachelor of Physician Associate - Batch of 2027
2.6

A personal overview from an amritian PA student.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement at other hospital instead a major percentage gets placed at our hospital itself. Internships are also provided at our hospital itself. We can work as the physician Associate or physician Assistant under a senior doctor of the chosen department.
Infrastructure: We have a wifi campus, lab facilities, central library's for UG and PG , Banking Facilities , smart classrooms, canteens, food court, playground, basketball court any more. Hostelers are allowed to use mobile phones. Mess food quality is an average or moderate level. Amrita has never got a poison issue from mess food but the taste isn't very appreciated and also it's not a full vitamin diet. There are many inter school sports matches and games happening at Amrita. Our hospital provides a very excellent medical facilities and immediate treatment.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, cooperative, approachable, and highly qualified at their professions and the teaching quality is also good but they seems to have less coordination among themselves. Our course 2023 curriculum follows national curriculum while 2024 onwards they follow international curriculum which is very relevant. Semester exams are little difficult but can be cleared within 1st attempt. Personally for me pharmacology is a bit tough to learn but could be managed. Our college provides hands on training from the initial level of education.
Other: I chose this course because I have been wanting to become a medical student but since I couldn't make it. Being a physician Associate was a very convenient and faster way of achieving my aim.

B.Sc. in Intensive Care Technology - Batch of 2026

Amrita kochi campus offers good placements every year.
Placements: Most of them were placed at a higher level of salary and in better hospitals. The highest package will be 25-30k per month. Abroad companies recruit paramedics more. All students are getting internships at our college after their 3-year course. We can work as critical care technicians or paramedics in any hospitals, especially critical care specialty hospitals.
Infrastructure: Amrita Kochi campus provides us with spacious classrooms, Wi-Fi for students with parental control , a library with all types of books which you can refer to for your thesis and exams, a good mess for students to eat, and the quality of the food we can say is above average only.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very helpful and understanding. They teach through different methods for students to easily understand. They conduct exams for every 6 months as semester exams, which have all the contents which were taken in the specific months.

B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology - Batch of 2023

Absolutely loved but improvements can be made.
Placements: More than 90 percent of the students are placed in Amrita hospital itself. Our lowest package was 4 LPA and now it has hiked to 6 LPA. AIIMS and Amrita hospital are the most top recruiting hospitals.100 percent of the students git internship in Amrita itself because it is mandatory for the students to do internship in Amrita itself.
Infrastructure: Paid Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. A vast and seperate library for UG and PG is provided. Classrooms are well occupied and with centralized AC and with smart classrooms. Quality of food available in the hostel is still a debatable topic. Really non delicious food is served. Medical facilities are provided at the top notch. Sports and games are there annually.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. For the 1st and 2 and years classes are taken routinely and managed. Final year little different and classes are less often taken. Course curriculum is relevant. Exams are quite easy to crack. Questions are made by professionals and are all according to the syllabus that we learned.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a job oriented course so that I can start working early as possible and can be independent for life. Nothing much to improve but if teachers give more sincerity to their works it would have be nice. Arts fest are conducted yearly. Campus crowd is much more as more than 150 srudents join the courses.

The college has source faculty members and they guide students.
Placements: While studying I got to work at KU Leuven as a trainee which was unbelievable for me even now, I'm much more grateful for my referring guide for this offer. Later with that experience, I worked as a full-time employee in a reputed hospital from the conducted campus drives of our college.
Infrastructure: The campus provides immediate medical emergency services, transportation between zones for student convenience, and a strict uniform policy as per college guidelines. There will be no limitations for students to explore the college during leisure hours.
Faculty: Lectures are more familiar with treating the patients related to allowing disorders. They would give complete progress from analyzing to curing, and at least of the time. They would use some technical terms even with the freshers which are quite difficult to understand at those initial times.
