Whereas, for students who achieve 70% to 79%, ASE Coimbatore offers the Amrita Meritorious Scholarship and waives off 50% of tuition fees. Amrita School of Engineering Scholarships: Eligibility Criteria
Amrita School of Engineering provides scholarships to students belonging to UG, PG and PhD programmes. Students belonging to fields such as Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences will not be eligible to avail a scholarship under any circumstance. To avail a scholarship, students must fulfil the given criteria:
- Students must maintain a CGPA of no less than 7.0, every semester. Failure to fulfil the criteria may result in a discrepancy in continuing the scholarship. After which, the tuition fee payable for the remaining period of the programme will be marked in pendency.
- Students are required to have a minimum attendance of 75% in Class. However, it may vary depending on the course or semester demand to be eligible to take exams. Failure to fulfil the same may result in the withdrawal of the scholarship on the basis of academic negligence.
- Students receiving a scholarship must maintain a code of conduct drawn by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. A student with a scholarship, if ever found under any disciplinary action will immediately lose the scholarship.
Amrita School of Engineering Scholarship Clause:
- The scholarship is provided on the basis of a one-time renewal, for any single programme in an academic year. Therefore, every year, an eligible student's performance is taken into consideration in order to renew the scholarship.
- Depending on the type of scholarship as per the eligibility, the scholarship scheme consists of a tuition fee waive off which is strictly non-negotiable. It can neither be extended nor it can be substituted by cash.
- The Institute does not provide any provision to hold more than one scholarship to any student.
Note: The final decision regarding the scholarship facilities resides under the jurisdiction of the Scholarship Committee. Any kind of discrepancy or consideration will be made by the Committee, in the end.
