Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore review.

Faculty: Faculty members in the electronics and communication department at Amrita Coimbatore are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive, with many holding PhDs and industry exposure. The curriculum is regularly updated with electives, labs, and projects that align well with current industry needs, especially in VLSI, embedded systems, and communication. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on both fundamentals and practical learning. Semester exams are moderately difficult, designed to test un...

It is a good college for studying and has an environment-friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and a few are not, but most are knowledgeable. The course and curriculum are good. There are many things built into the course that make learning efficient. First-year semester exams are somewhat easy, while going it may get difficult. To pass exams, we need at least to get 40 marks out of 100.

Review of Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.

Faculty: The curriculum is good and prepares students for industries. Most of the teachers are friendly and good at teaching. But some teachers are not that good at teaching. If we complain, the entire class has to suffer.

I studied here between 2021-2025 and I had an amazing life here.

Faculty: Teachers are always friendly and helpful except for one or two, which usually happens everywhere. They train us not only for academics but also for the industry where we will go work. Semester exams are difficult for real. We should understand the concepts well to crack them.

It's a good college with advanced courses.

Faculty: Saying for the faculty, they are basically good and well-educated. The exams can be slightly complicated for the student to write. The course that I have taken is so good, from which, I learned many skills and I developed them by myself. The pass percentage of the college is about 45%, depending on the subject. If any student gets an arrear, he/she has to pay Rs. 700 for all UG programs.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the administrative issues.

Faculty: Professors are well trained and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Though the placement cell has asked to change the syllabus, it does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams depend on the faculty taking the subject, but it is easy to pass if you have good internals.

A boring campus life at Amrita.

Faculty: The teachers on our campus are qualified. They help us in many ways, including extracurricular activities. The curriculum is relevant, but staying with that, the timetable is somewhat hard for us to maintain, but it's okay.

The college is very strict but it is very good to join here for a better future.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. Some teachers go in another way so students cannot understand that. The course curriculum is good and it has a better future in semiconductors. In Amrita, the course is tough which we are studying.

This college is pretty good due to the faculty members.

Faculty: All teachers here are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is parallel to the teaching track where they can help well in doubt solving. The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:65. In the second year, we will be asked to decide whether to go with higher studies in foreign or a job, this can ensure proper arrangement. Semester exams are quite hard to ensure proper way of grading.

Faculty members are very strict and we do not have free time to enjoy.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and very caring. We also have HODs of our branch. They used to guide us every minute without wasting our time and their time. We have the best lab teachers to teach.

The college is good, but lack of entertainment.

Faculty: The B.Tech Chemical Engineering program at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has a well-structured curriculum aligned with industry needs. The faculty is highly qualified and follows strict academic standards. Teaching quality is good, with a balance of theory and practical learning. Exams are moderately difficult, with a rigorous evaluation process. While the curriculum prepares students for industry roles, some find the exams challenging. The pass percentage is not widely reported, but the university...

Amazing faculty members and infrastructure. Diverse and friendly student community.

Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders. They are friendly, patience, and understanding. The course curriculum is designed very similarly to the IITs giving equal importance to our culture by including subjects like Indian heritage and yoga. Semester exam papers are moderate to difficult. CIR courses are also given importance right from the 2nd year to make the students industry-ready.

I recommend to visit our college to see the environment of it.

Faculty: The university boasts highly qualified and experienced faculty members, many of them hold advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

Amrita's B.Tech AI course: A gateway to top placements and cutting edge roles.

Faculty: All my lecturers are from NIT and IIT. They are very good. The course curriculum is set by our dean Mr K. P. Soman. He is one of the best and among the top 2% of AI scientists in the world. My course does not have mid-semester or end-semester examinations. However, we have daily assessments and end-semester projects, which help in our future as we get hands-on experience by doing a project and publishing research papers.

Overall best among others.

Faculty: Faculty members are well trained and they are mostly Ph.D staff. Their teaching is very experienced. They may not be more interactive but they are good at teaching. The exams conducted here are a bit tough compared to the other colleges. But the CGPA is based on relative grading so no worries.
