Faculty members and college facilities all are good, but need to improve hostel rooms.
Placements: In this branch, the average package offered ranges between 5-7 LPA. The highest package is 12 LPA, said to me by my seniors. Almost all my seniors got placements. The highest package offered for the mechanical engineering course is 12 LPA, as I know. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. These things are said to me by my seniors.
Infrastructure: Our course classrooms have nice infrastructure with AC, digital screens, a blackboard, and a projector. Hostel rooms are okay, but they don't provide evening snacks. Only morning tiffin and meals for the afternoon and night are available. Hostels are surrounded by big trees. We will get fresh air also with mosquitoes on everything.
Faculty: Faculty members are strict, excellent, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are as hard as papers from a government university. All our faculty members are very qualified. Almost all students will pass semester exams with some difficulty if they do good in their mid-examinations.
Other: There are no events, and fests are conducted directly by the college administration. Fests are conducted only by students and students funding. College do not give any rupee for student fest.

I'm satisfied because of the quality of education and good infrastructure facilities.
Placements: 75% of students got placed from our course last year as I know 10 LPA was the highest package, 6 LPA was the average package offered, and 4 LPA was the lowest package, as per my knowledge. Tech Mahindra and Schneider Electric were recruiting companies. 45% to ITC, IIT Madras, and students were doing their internships in various companies R&D.
Infrastructure: All are so good, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library sometimes the signal is not reachable and also the infrastructure is so good that they provide AC classrooms for some classes. Food available in the mess is average not so good not too bad and medical facilities are good, even sports and games are being conducted regularly.
Faculty: The teaching quality is so good except for some professors but they are also doing their best but we can't able to understand. I think so, this course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry study as they also include internships. The difficulty level is medium and 90% is pass percentage.
Other: I love mechanical engineering and the best thing about our course is that the practical labs are so good and we can gain hands-on experience doing this course can be helpful to go through the software side and also the core side. I wish there would be more practical experience even in college like bringing the campus more machines. Events and fests are conducted so frequently.

Facilities are great, but low fees.
Placements: According to my vision, many top companies are coming for placements, like JSW Steel, L&T, TCS, and more. Placements are not so bad, but they’re okay. It all depends totally on students' performance. 70% of students got placements, till I know.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good. For our department, we have AC classes, so there’s no worry about sweating and comfort. The hostel is not so bad, but there are certain things which have to be concentrate, like maintenance, hygiene, and the main issue is the stray dogs roaming in the hostel premises.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and highly qualified, and they are very supportive of our interests. It all depends on us, like we need to go to them for suggestions, instructions, or anything. The semester exams are quite hard for me. They’re not easy like in other institutions, they’re made as if we’re giving our board exams again.
Other: To be honest, I have joined mechanical engineering as I am not interested in any of the other departments. Fests and events are not so regular, but there are events. They maintain various clubs too for the encouragement of our skills, like extracurricular activities such as dance, music, singing, acting, photography, sports, and many more.

I'm satisfied with facilities provided by the college to students.
Placements: 80% of students got placed from mechanical course. Every student has to do at least two internships in summer vacation provided by the college. The recruiting companies are good and provide you the work in different states of our country.
Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi is provided in every block of the college even in hostels too. Labs and classrooms are also very good. Each branch is provided with library. One common library is available on North campus and one on South campus. Hostel mess food is good, served with hygiene and good hearts. Canteens are available where every student can enjoy snacks. There are so many clubs where you can develop your co-curricular things which are very important to develop yourself. Sports and games are conducted from time to time. On North campus, there are two grounds.
Faculty: Most faculty members are excellent but some scholars are there who just ruined the image of AU. Teaching is good, you are free to ask each doubt. The syllabus gets covered within time. Semester exams are conducted very seriously which is a good thing. Mid-exams are conducted strictly.

Andhra University opportunities.
Placements: About 85% of students got placed in our course. The highest is 90 LPA, and the lowest is 9 LPA. The average package can range from 12 LPA to 24 LPA. Mostly everyone goes into internships but some may not go to their respective course-related internships but rather some other internships of the course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and well-equipped, and some classrooms have AC. All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards. The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi. Some new hostel rooms are good but some are really dirty. There are grounds for sports and good sports participation.
Faculty: Moderate to tough level of examination and with average or below average students can pass as long as they try. There are chances that people may fail due to missteps during correction and may get increased marks during evaluation but one can't be sure. Sometimes rarely the paper may come out of the syllabus.
Other: I chose mechanical for my future master's and to study mechatronics and nanotechnology. I hope there is more emphasis on skills rather than book and theory knowledge.

Mixed bag - Excellent facilities, high faculty members, and strong placements.
Placements: About 50% of students get placed. The highest salary is 6 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Accenture, IBM, ITC, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Amazon, Apple, Deloitte, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, HCL, and TCS. 90% of students get internships. Roles offered are Design engineer, manufacturing engineer, production engineer, maintenance engineer, quality control engineer, automation engineer, automotive engineer, aerospace engineer, research and development engineer, project manager, and thermal engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for a course department may include classrooms, labs, libraries, and Wi-Fi. These facilities help students gain practical experience and prepare for future careers. It is good for our perspective with pure ingredients done in mess.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Pass percentage is 40%. Paper is moderate. Relevant curriculum can help prepare students for the workforce by equipping them with industry-relevant skills. The difficulty of semester exams and the pass percentage for a college can vary depending on the students.
Other: I chose this course because of my self-interest. There is nothing to change but all things are sufficient. Needed some fests but they are conducting in our college.

Really good Infrastructure and placements in 2024.
Placements: This is how the university secured around of 2500 placements for the entire university. For engineering, we got around 700 placements; for our mechanical branch, we also got good placements. Many core and technical companies like Accenture, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, HCL, IBM, Infosys, etc. are recruiting. The college even provides well-rounded training for our students who are interested in higher studies.
Infrastructure: We have good labs and libraries for our college. The college has separate blocks for the several departments. We have a university area of around 500 acres. We are served good food in the hostels and the infrastructure is good, but they are renovated for small changes every year.
Faculty: The professors here are highly qualified from the top institutes in India, like IIT's and NIT's. The curriculum is changed according to what the current outside industries require. The college sets the best standard question papers for the exams.
Other: Here we have the best placements for the core branches. But the college festival happens only once a year. The campus connectivity and campus surroundings are very good. Here we also have other activities like NCC and NSS, which are included in the curriculum.

Excellent faculty with excellent infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: 50% students get placements either in core or in computer side, remaining generally chose higher studies. The highest package up to 24 Lacs, The average is 3 Lacs. For mechanical from TATA, tech Mahindra etc. Companies and steel plant are the top recruiting companies. 70% students get internship offers.
Infrastructure: Labs are good, hostel facility is above average. Food available in hostel is good, in canteen, all types of snacks are available. For sports, big ground and gymnasium with equipment are available. Medical facilities are average and if there is any emergency, then they will take you to a big hospital.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and they share their experience. The curriculum is good but as the technology is changing rapidly, there should be more extra topics. Semester exams are concept oriented, if you know concepts, then they will be easy for you.
Other: Apart from studies, your social skills will get develop with this course. There is a saying if you know how to live in university you can live anywhere, that is true in case of Andhra University, .
