A supportive campus with good faculty and steady placement.
Placements: I have only seen the placement process for the recent passing-out batches. Based on our seniors' experience, around 70-80% of students were placed through campus drives. The highest package offered to them was around 8 to 10 LPA, while the average stayed close to 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. Companies such as L&T, Tata Projects, Shapoorji Pallonji, Ultratech Cement, and several reputed local construction firms usually come for both placements and internships. Many seniors also got internships in these companies, especially in roles related to site engineering, designing, and quality control.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is quite good, with well-maintained classrooms, good Wi-Fi, and regular labs that are updated for practical work. The library is decent and helps a lot during exam time. Hostel facilities are comfortable, and the mess food is manageable, with some days better than others. Sports facilities, like the ground and indoor games, are available, and basic medical help is provided on campus. Overall, the environment is supportive for both academics and daily living.
Faculty: The faculty in our department is quite helpful and generally well qualified. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable during doubt or project work. The curriculum is mostly relevant and gives a decent balance of theory and practical exposure, which helps in becoming industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, but if you follow the classes and revise properly, they are manageable. The pass percentage is usually high because internal assessments and lab work also support the final grade. The academic environment is structured and student-friendly.
Other: I chose this course because I was genuinely interested in the field and felt it offered stable career options. The best part so far has been the practical exposure, supportive seniors, and the overall campus environment. Our campus crowd is friendly, and the events and fests make the year feel lively. Connectivity to the campus is decent, and there are enough extracurricular activities to keep things engaging. I do feel that improving the number of workshops and hands-on training sessions would make the course even better.

The oldest and best college with nice infrastructure and education.
Placements: Andhra University has a strong placement programme with recruiters like Amazon Deloitte ITC TCS Wipro and Google visiting the campus. Placement statistics show varying median packages depending on the programme with a four year UG median package of 7.58 LPA.
Infrastructure: Andhra University infrastructure and facilities includes a central library, numerous specialized labs and extensive residential options with 23 hostels for boys and 10 for girls. There is also a separate hostel for foreign students. The campus also provides medical services, various canteens, sports complexes with a gymnasium and other amenities like a press banking and a post office. Our library, Dr VS Krishna library is one of the largest in the country with the latest collection of books, journals, and access to e journals.
Faculty: Andhra University has experienced faculty nda curriculum that is used to the choice based credit system. The faculty is described as knowledgeable with research contributions while the curriculum is updated with core and elective courses. Examinations are conducted through continuous internal assessment 30 percent weightage and a semester exam 70 percent weightage with the letter often being in online format objective type exam.
Other: Andhra University offers vibrant campus life with numerous extracurricular activities through active student clubs and a diverse student body. There are various scholarship opportunities through government schemes. The campus has excellent connectivity within the city of Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Andhra University has a dedicated placement cell that organizes placement drives and training for students with placement rates and salaries varying by programme. In 2024 the median salary for a 4 year UG programme is 7.58LPA. Nice place for education.
Infrastructure: Andhra University provides the best infrastructure for both academic courses and hostels including a large library specialized labs for practical learning. Sports facilities for boys and girls with provided amenities like beds study tables and common rooms though some older buildings may have maintenance issues.
Faculty: Andhra University faculty and curriculum vary by department. The faculty of education is somewhat familiar. The curriculum is very good and provides different types of subjects that are useful for higher studies. The faculty are very supportive and highly skilled.
Other: The atmosphere at Andhra University is a mix of academic rigour and a nurturing campus environment characterized by lush green space and a strong focus on research particularly in the fields of meteorology and oceanography.

Overall, our college is good and recommended.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, but not up to the mark as expected. In our department, placements are not very regular. We don’t get 100% placements compared to other departments, so expected placements are not obtained. So, this is the placement review.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. It is a sightseeing place as the college is in the City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam. Our college is definitely the dream college for everyone. We are lucky to be a part of it.
Faculty: Exams are conducted very regularly. Mock tests, slip tests, and mid-term examinations are conducted every three months, twice before a semester examination. Faculty is very experienced and has graduated from many prestigious universities. The curriculum is also good compared to other colleges.
Other: Campus life is really exciting and a good dream to experience with friends. The memories here cannot be obtained in other colleges as all the places to visit in Visakhapatnam are nearby. We can study and at the same time enjoy nature.
