Go for it if you want to experience the true and liberal college life.

Placements: As I am in my 3rd year, no core companies have started recruiting us. As of now, nearly 40% of our seniors were placed in the core companies. When it comes to internships, every member in the course will definitely get the chance to do. The salary packages are entirely dependent on your knowledge.

Infrastructure: Since it is a government-maintained hostel, the infrastructure can be said okay. The quality of food is also average. In our course, the entire department is air-conditioned and the departmental library is also present with friendly office staff and responsible teaching staff.

Faculty: Professors in our college are highly experienced and knowledgeable as every one of them were doctorate holders from different renoved universities of India and overseas too. The course curriculum is completely relevant. The semester exams in the college are of a bit hard.

Good college but the hostels are not good.

Placements: Our college is good at placements. 60% students were placed in our senior batch. The highest salary offered was 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 6 lakhs per annum. Indian Navy, Mazagon Dockyard, Hindustan Shipyard Limited, etc. visited our college. Most of the students get an internship with a good stipend.

Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi facility, air-conditioned laboratories, air-conditioned computer lab, air-conditioned library, E-class room separately for each department, etc. are available. A dispensary is also available for the students and the staff. There is a huge ground for sports. There is basketball court and a volleyball court. There is no canteen in the engineering college. The hostel rooms are not good.

Faculty: We have the best faculty. They have almost 30 years of experience. They are highly qualified and helpful. They have unique teaching methods that the student can understand clearly and they are very useful to us. The student to faculty ratio is 30:1. We get industrial training yearly for every batch but the syllabus is outdated.

Other: We have good faculty, good infrastructure, and well-equipped labs. But the hostels are not good. The rooms and the food in the hostels are not at all good. The hostel is managed by some professors of the chemical department.
