I joined B.Tech at Andhra University in 2016 , even the corona year’s placements were decent.
Placements: The students’ passing percentage is nearly 85% and even the campus placements officer is very liberal with providing full information about the companies, after which, the interested candidates are sent for placements. The highest package offered is 20 LPA and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. Top companies are Wipro, TCS, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and class infrastructure is good. The classrooms are available for the utter understanding purpose. The Library is moderate and has useful old books and novels available. The hostel is not good and the food is okay.
Faculty: The faculty has a very good knowledge and teaching skills. The course makes the students industry ready. The exams are difficult with the average passing percentage being 75%. There is only one negative point in the Andhra University, it’s the examination curriculum, which is if you fail in the exam.

My college is very good and the faculty is very nice.
Placements: 63 percent of students were placed in our course.
Overall, the average package is 500,000.
CSE is the top course for our college.
85 percent of students got internship from our course and in national companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities are perfect here. Infrastructure is available for our course and department as well. The hostel facilities are very nice and the food is also nice. The food is a little bit bad. Canteens are also available on our college campus. Sports and games are also conducted every year.
Faculty: Our teachers were very knowledgeable people.
The teaching quality is very nice and excellent. Yes, curriculum is relevant. No, it makes the students industry-ready. Yes, the semester exam paper is very difficult. The minimum pass percentage is 45%.
And invigilation is also very perfectly done.
Other: Today, software courses are given a higher salary and information technology is very easy and provides a dignified job, too.

An excellent college, loved the atmosphere, good placements, awesome facilities, and infrastructure.
Placements: 85% of students are placed in Andhra University. The highest package is 84 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 6-7 LPA. Recruiting companies are Marriott, IBM, HDFC Bank, Accenture, ITC, Infosys, and Axis Bank. Around 70% of students got internships in our course. Software Engineering is the top role offered for our course.
Infrastructure: All hostel facilities are well and good, with better Wi-Fi and etc. The food in the hostel is very good and the canteen is available in every block. They provide a separate hostel for foreign students with better conditions. We got big ground and good medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty and the curriculum are good. All the faculty are well trained, but some of them are not so good. The curriculum is easy same as the JNTU curriculum. The semester exams are somewhat easy, and not so tough. It will make the students industry-ready. The teaching quality is also good.
Other: I selected Information Technology because I am interested in software and technology and I got a seat in EAPCET. I am trying my level best to improve my skills in campus and activity participation. There are so many events and fests. The fest is conducted, but not so grand like private universities.

Placements: TCS and Oracle are the leading recruitment companies. Last year, approximately 96% of students were successfully placed during the placement drive. The highest salary package secured through off-campus placement was 84 lakhs per annum, while on-campus placements reached a maximum of 14 lakhs per annum. It is noteworthy that students prepare for placements on their own as there is no formal training provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The campus boasts a large library with a wide variety of books, and it also offers an e-library. The library operates until 8 p.m. and is well-maintained. The classrooms are equipped with digital smart boards or televisions. The campus canteens are rapidly developing and offer good options. However, the hostel is considered to be of poor quality, which is its weakest aspect.
Faculty: The faculty members possess excellent subject knowledge and are highly competent. However, students play a major role in their own learning as the teaching provided by teachers is relatively limited. The syllabus is regularly updated, which greatly aids in securing good placements. The examinations are comparatively challenging compared to those conducted in other colleges.

There are good internship opportunities, faculty guidance, and infrastructure.
Placements: According to university records, the average campus placement for my department at AU College of Engineering is 4 LPA. I believe I have the potential to secure a higher package. There is excellent support from the Training and Placement Office at Andhra University College of Engineering, and internship opportunities are also very strong.
Infrastructure: AU College of Engineering offers two types of hostels, regular student hostels and self-supporting hostels. There's also a difference in their fees. The self-supporting hostels boast better infrastructure compared to the regular ones. While the mess food is generally above average, its quality can be inconsistent, sometimes being quite good.
Faculty: Andhra University has a decent curriculum. The faculty members are well-experienced, and while their guidance is good, students largely need to be self-reliant in their learning. The curriculum is also updated regularly. However, a drawback of the semester pattern is that if you fail a subject, you have to take the remedial exam with the junior batch. Semester exams are generally not overly difficult, though there might be one or two challenging papers.
Other: I believe my department has excellent faculty, and our HOD is very friendly. This course is best suited for students who are genuinely interested in Computer Science subjects; I recommend checking the official college website for a detailed list of subjects. My department also boasts good infrastructure and hosts an annual department day celebration. We've received numerous opportunities from outside campus. Additionally, NCC and NSS are available for extracurricular activities.
