Andhra University was good for placement, and the faculty was good. The placement was good in 2020.
Placements: I am from the 2023 batch, and the course is information technology. Max 70% of the students will be placed in my course. Up to 70k will be offered for the salary. Infosys is the top recruiting company in my college. For 85 % they got into Infosys company. Roles offered in my course were manager, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no wi-fi, we have labs, but most of the computers will not work. Classrooms will be provided for all departments. There is a library too. There will be no problem with the current and water. The food wasn't bad, and good, it is average. The mess is clean. There are no facilities for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teacher was good at teaching the subject. They are ready for their course curriculum. The exam is either difficult or easy, depending on the subject or the question paper maker. 40 per cent is the pass percentage.
Other: I like it, so I chose the course. We can get a job more easily if we have enough skills. I wish they would teach the important subject from the start. They will celebrate all kinds of fests in our college.

My honest review of Andhra University.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed with decent package. The highest package is 16 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Cognizant, and from my course, students applied for internships off-campus and got them based on their skills. The top roles offered are web development, Python, cloud computing, and machine learning.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are pretty good, like we have Wi-Fi all over the campus, dedicated labs, and most of the computers work properly. The library is the biggest plus point, it has a vast amount of resources both offline and online, and about hostels, they are pretty average, like the rooms and stuff are for 2 people per room, and the food is below average, and you need to visit Curry Point beside the college sometimes.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are so knowledgeable, and they are pretty good in terms of the course teaching, and some teachers take care of your personal development, like they can mentor you for your goals and also help u land some internships and projects. Most of the course curriculum is relevant to the present software demands, and it does make students industry-ready in theory. However, they need to do some projects. Semester exams are of top quality, and the students who prepare and write well are gonna pass, and the evaluation is so strict.
Other: I chose information technology as my rank is way above the cutoff for CSE, although I didn't find much difference between them till the third year, and the improvements. I suggest including AI, which is trending in the curriculum, for events crowd, and campus life, it's simply the best, as its vast campus is beside every central, you can experience everything here.

There are good internship opportunities, faculty guidance, and infrastructure.
Placements: According to university records, the average campus placement for my department at AU College of Engineering is 4 LPA. I believe I have the potential to secure a higher package. There is excellent support from the Training and Placement Office at Andhra University College of Engineering, and internship opportunities are also very strong.
Infrastructure: AU College of Engineering offers two types of hostels, regular student hostels and self-supporting hostels. There's also a difference in their fees. The self-supporting hostels boast better infrastructure compared to the regular ones. While the mess food is generally above average, its quality can be inconsistent, sometimes being quite good.
Faculty: Andhra University has a decent curriculum. The faculty members are well-experienced, and while their guidance is good, students largely need to be self-reliant in their learning. The curriculum is also updated regularly. However, a drawback of the semester pattern is that if you fail a subject, you have to take the remedial exam with the junior batch. Semester exams are generally not overly difficult, though there might be one or two challenging papers.
Other: I believe my department has excellent faculty, and our HOD is very friendly. This course is best suited for students who are genuinely interested in Computer Science subjects; I recommend checking the official college website for a detailed list of subjects. My department also boasts good infrastructure and hosts an annual department day celebration. We've received numerous opportunities from outside campus. Additionally, NCC and NSS are available for extracurricular activities.

I joined B.Tech at Andhra University in 2016 , even the corona year’s placements were decent.
Placements: The students’ passing percentage is nearly 85% and even the campus placements officer is very liberal with providing full information about the companies, after which, the interested candidates are sent for placements. The highest package offered is 20 LPA and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. Top companies are Wipro, TCS, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and class infrastructure is good. The classrooms are available for the utter understanding purpose. The Library is moderate and has useful old books and novels available. The hostel is not good and the food is okay.
Faculty: The faculty has a very good knowledge and teaching skills. The course makes the students industry ready. The exams are difficult with the average passing percentage being 75%. There is only one negative point in the Andhra University, it’s the examination curriculum, which is if you fail in the exam.

My college is very good and the faculty is very nice.
Placements: 63 percent of students were placed in our course.
Overall, the average package is 500,000.
CSE is the top course for our college.
85 percent of students got internship from our course and in national companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities are perfect here. Infrastructure is available for our course and department as well. The hostel facilities are very nice and the food is also nice. The food is a little bit bad. Canteens are also available on our college campus. Sports and games are also conducted every year.
Faculty: Our teachers were very knowledgeable people.
The teaching quality is very nice and excellent. Yes, curriculum is relevant. No, it makes the students industry-ready. Yes, the semester exam paper is very difficult. The minimum pass percentage is 45%.
And invigilation is also very perfectly done.
Other: Today, software courses are given a higher salary and information technology is very easy and provides a dignified job, too.
