Almost satisfied with the faculty, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 3-4 core companies visit our college repeatedly namely Zifo RnD Solutions, AGS Healthcare Services, VWR International and VEE Technologies. Apart from this, several companies such as Sutherland, TNQ Books and Journals, etc. visit the college regularly for placement drive. The salary package is quite satisfactory for Zifo RnD solutions and VWR international when compared to other companies. Almost 60% of the students in biotechnology department got placed in the above companies.
Infrastructure: The college has an average infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided all over the campus and I'm not sure about the free Wi-Fi next year since this year Jio Wi-Fi has been provided. The college has a good library facility. Nearly thousands of books are provided in each section. Poor medical aids and facilities. Hostel facility is moderate for first years and for the second year to final year students they can select any one hostel from the four boys' hostel. NRI hostel is good with individual restrooms. Sports and games are conducted at zonal level, state level and also in the college among the departments, once in a year. Good lab facility for biotechnology department in our college campus.
Faculty: Well-trained teaching faculty who are helpful and kind. Teaching methods include presentations, seminars, subject related videos, etc., The student to faculty ratio is more when compared to other departments which are approximately 15:1. The course curriculum is based on Anna university syllabus and almost all syllabus has been covered and it is also useful.
