An average college in West Bengal.
Placements: The number of students placed was above 70%. The highest cost to the company was around 7 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, WIPRO recruit. There is no internship for students. They have to look off-campus. Roles offered include system trainee, database management, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The college has three buildings. One is the main building, the second one is the management building, and the third is the electrical building. The lab is very impressive. The library is excellent with Wi-Fi support. The college has a canteen which is not so good. It is for school students.
Faculty: The faculty is very good with high knowledge. They have vast experience of 10+ years. Teaching quality is also very good, and they are very helpful. The courses do not make an industry. We, students, have to take an industry-ready program from an ardent company. Semester exams are easy; with 45% marks, they are passed.
Other: I got this college from counseling so I chose this college. It is a nice average college with an average infrastructure. They do not have a playground. They have four fests in a year which is very energetic.

Decent college with good placements.
Placements: In my course, CSE, around 93% of students get placed every year. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and Capgemini. The top roles offered are SDE, frontend, backend, and system design.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not optimal. The buildings are poorly maintained, and Wi-Fi is only available in the library, although it has a wide range of books and journals. Classrooms are decent but lack AC and smart board facilities. Labs are functional but not updated with the latest tools and devices.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified, but most of them primarily speak Bengali, making it challenging for students from outside Bengal to understand concepts. While most teachers are helpful, some show bias towards Bengal students. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, with a passing percentage of 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it is the most demanding at this time. The best aspect is that most students get placed in this course. However, the focus should be more on practical knowledge than theory. Our college hosts popular festivals like the Phoenix and Celluloid. The campus environment is pleasant, and scholarships like Swami Vivekananda are available. Additionally, extracurricular activities such as photography, art contests, drawing, and gaming competitions are encouraged.
