Placements: The placement of this institution is moderate. Almost 60 percent of students got placement from this college. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Camgemini, etc., come here for placement. The average salary package is 5 LPA. The placement cell is proactive, it organises mock interviews and industry talks. A few students get internships from the campus.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent. FIEM provides modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi facility, and a sports area. Drinking water is available on every floor. The library is adequate and well-maintained. Smart classrooms are used to teach the students properly. The hostel facility provided by FIEM is too good. Hostel rooms are clean and big. Medical facilities are also available on campus. The quality of the hostel food is decent.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is extremely good. Their emphasis on industry initiatives and development of practical skills improves student learning and career preparedness. Semester exams are moderate. Regular study and classes make you able to secure a good score. The curriculum of this college is awesome.

My college is good but not the best. I think it will really improve in the upcoming days.
Placements: In CSE, almost 85% of students get placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. Almost 70% of students get internships through TCS and Wipro. Web Development is the best role offered in my college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Labs are good, though not great, but the library is the best. Classrooms are good. There is no Wi-Fi in the college, but Wi-Fi is available in the library. Sports, medical facilities, the canteen, and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, especially in the CSE department. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Passing the semester exams is very tough because this is a MAKAUT-affiliated university. The passing percentage is almost 70%. Most teachers are graduates from top colleges.
Other: College offers good placements and has best teachers. Smart boards are used in classrooms. The lab rooms need improvement. Events and fests are always good. Many scholarships are also provided.

Average college with faculty, infrastructure, placements 2026, and good library.
Placements: 30 percent of students got placed in our course. Bavistech, Cognizant, and TCS are the top recruiting companies. TCS offered the top role, which is Prime. The highest package is 9 LPA, the lowest package is 2.4 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. 15 percent of students got internships from our course, in Bavistech, Cognizant, and Utah Tech Labs.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, and lab faculty is also well-trained in what they are doing. The library is something that we as students love the most, it has all the books, journals, newspapers, and books for exams like GATE. The staff of the library is well-behaved and very cooperative with students. Classrooms are not maintained properly, even the fans in our class are not enough in number. There is no Wi-Fi on our campus, only in the library is Wi-Fi available. Overall, the college's infrastructure has become old, and it is not maintained properly.
Faculty: When I first joined college, there were teachers who were really good. But because of some internal conflict, they left college. Some teachers have very good knowledge of subjects, but some don't possess enough knowledge to teach. Most teachers are helpful and supportive. Our college follows the syllabus of MAKAUT, which is very old and outdated. It has not been changed in decades, like what people were learning in 2007, we are also learning the same thing. Semester exams are not very difficult, but paper checking is terrible. The university gives random marks.
Other: I chose this course because in 2020-2022 the IT industry was at its peak and I thought if I could join Engineering, I could get a decent job in the IT sector. The best thing about our course is that the people I met are really nice, and the exposure that I got in this course is something that I will remember throughout my life. The changes that could be made in the course would be to make the syllabus more relevant to the industry level. Plenty of events are conducted throughout the week. There are 4 different clubs, and they are responsible for conducting the fest. A total of 2 fests are conducted by a single club 1 small and 1 big. The campus is connected with railway, metro, and bus service, but not very much around campus. SVMCM scholarship is provided by the WB government.

It is a very good college, and I recommend everyone to go there.
Placements: 85% of students are placed from my college. 3.5 LPA to 11.5 LPA are the lowest and the highest packages offered by this college. TCS and Mindtree, as mass recruiters, are the best companies, including the Big 4. 80-90% of students got internships from this college.
Infrastructure: Future Institute of Engineering and Management College has great infrastructure with a very good library, Wi-Fi, neat and clean classrooms, and over 82 labs. FIEM does not contain any hostel, but this college has its own canteen serving students and teachers with hygienic food.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful and very qualified. If I go for help anytime, they assist me without any hesitation. The CSE (this) course is very relevant, making the students industry-ready. As FIEM falls under Makaut University, exam levels are moderate to difficult.
Other: Flames- Fest gathering a large crowd.

Reliable academics and decent placements with good overall facilities
Placements: 35 to 50 percent of students usually get placed at FIEM Kolkata, with CSE and IT often recording higher placement rates. The highest packages reach around 9 to 12 LPA, while most students get offers between 3 and 5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini visit the campus regularly. Many students also secure internships in IT and consulting roles through these recruiters.
Infrastructure: FIEM Kolkata provides a good set of facilities for engineering students. Classrooms are clean and have projectors, and the campus offers Wi-Fi which may vary in speed at times. Labs for CSE, IT, and core branches are equipped well enough for regular practicals. The library has a strong collection of books, journals, and digital resources. The campus includes auditoriums and seminar halls for events and workshops. Sports facilities cover football, cricket, and indoor games like table tennis and basketball.

Faculty must be improved, as the infrastructure is not very good.
Placements: The placement is average. In recent years, very few companies have come for placement. Cognizant and TCS are some of the few companies. I am not hearing about such internships. Good, but it must be better than the previous year. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I think it happens sometimes.
Infrastructure: The college is in a proper area, but the infrastructure is not so good. The classrooms are okay, and the labs are not very advanced. The library is good. There is no hostel available, and the canteen is okay. Sports happen sometimes. It is good, and I hope it will improve with our principal.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some teachers are good and some are not so much. The college curriculum is old and not sufficient for students in the industry. The semester exams are not very difficult. I am a good student, studying every day, so it is easy for me. Faculty could be better.
Other: The campus is good, not very crowded, and good for students.

College life here combines studies with full enjoyment.
Placements: Almost every year, maximum students are placed in MNCs.
Highest package: 12 to 14 lakhs
Lowest package: 3 to 4 lakhs
Average package: 5 to 7 lakhs
TCS, Cognizant, Mindtree, Wipro, etc. are the top recruiters of our college.
60 to 70 percent of students are getting internships.
Infrastructure: Separate labs are there, a high-quality library with an internet connection, e-books, and also many facilities are there. Classrooms are neat and clean. Air conditioning rooms for labs are also available there.
A canteen is also available, and good quality food is also available there.
Faculty: Teacher's are very helpful. If anyone has any doubt, then contact them; they will surely help you. Many hackathons are conducted by the college, and so many events are also conducted by the college clubs there.
Semester exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance.
Guards are strict during exam time.
