Candidates can apply if they have a three-year Engineering Diploma from an institution in Uttar Pradesh with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Alternatively, candidates whose parents (father or mother) are domiciled in Uttar Pradesh and who have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma with the same minimum marks, recognized by the Board of Technical Education, UP, are also eligible. This excludes Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture. Candidates who have completed a B.Sc. and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject from any recognized university, securing at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate, can also apply.
