B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024
3.6
Overall, it is a good college for students who cannot afford high fees for engineering.
Placements: Around 10 students out of 50 got placements. The highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Around 50% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: It provides Wi-Fi and RO water. It has 24X7 transport facilities for hostel students if any medical emergency occurs. It has a good campus and one of the best hostels in this area with minimum restrictions. Only first-year students have to follow some of the rules, like entry before 8 PM.
Faculty: It has good faculty members. Some of them graduated from IIT Bombay and IIT BHU. The course curriculum is structured. Exams are quite hard. It depends on students. The passing percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course as it is suggested by my uncle, who is a faculty member at one of the colleges in this area. The college organises only a few events. There are some social groups, such as NSS, in which students participate to help others.

BN College of Engineering and Technology is the best college in Lucknow for Engineering & pharmacy.
Placements: The placement is average, and it also depends on the students to crack the placement. The college is cooperative and derives many companies recruitment and it depends on the students to crack the placement. Many big companies also derive other recruitment.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms, especially for the 1st year students and air-condition is also in their classroom. The hostel is also average, hostel food is not so good, but the hostel is best and their rooms are also. A big lawn is also available in both the college and hostel for the sports.
Faculty: The faculty is very sincere and helps students to gain good marks in exams and they are very cooperative. The faculty of the college is very good and the faculty is supporting in making their model working project. Many faculty members have a Ph.D. in different branches of college.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2019
3.0
An honest review of BN College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: 30% of the students got placed from my batch. BYJU's and Justdial came here and offered BDA and sales executive roles, respectively. BYJU's and Justdial are the top recruiting companies that came to our campus for placements. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The food in our hostel is healthy, and water is pure, and there are many purifiers installed on our hostel campus. It has a volleyball court. A cricket kit is available. The infrastructure of the mechanical department is average.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are highly qualified and well experienced in their subjects and have good teaching skills. But some are not much qualified. They do not provide practical knowledge, but it is very important for us.
Other: The college should provide more practical knowledge than theoretical. I chose engineering because I think I have the capacity to do something extraordinary for mankind. Mechanical engineering is very important for the automobile industry and all other machines. We got scholarships 2 times in four years.

I feel that the college is irresponsible regarding the placements of students.
Placements: Placements for the students of our batch were quite low. They just bring job consultancies. Only 20% to 30% of the students get placed from college. They use the reputation of companies like Samsung, Bajaj, Nokia, Mahindra etc., for its promotion. Internships were not provided for our batch.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. Labs, library, canteen and hostel are good here. Games were played only during the events. Classrooms are good. The classrooms of all the years are air-conditioned except for the classrooms of ME final year. This was the issue I faced during the final year. Labs were not provided for the students of the 1st year and 2nd year.
Faculty: Faculty were good at their teaching. Their methods of teaching are satisfactory. We visited cold storage during our tenure. The teachers were helpful in studies, but they just teach for the namesake in the final year. The course curriculum was useful. Our teachers explain the concepts well.
Other: The standards of our college are average. However, this college is below average regarding its placements.

College Review of my College BN College of Engineering & Technology.
Placements: All the placements are fake. I was selected as GET without any interview and when we reached the company they said that they have no requirement of B.Tech. They required only operators for CNC. The posters of top placements are also fake, you can meet those students and you will find that they are jobless. This is the reality of almost every private college of AKTU. Average and maximum salary offered is 10 K- 12 K. Max onsultancies have visited this year 2018 in our college to whom students do not know. Small companies like ASAHI and others visited here offering 10k for 10 hours working time.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Wi-fi is in college but they do not provide passwords. They go with students for just formalities to the lab. Library is good. Medical facilities is not good. They just provide tablets for headache like Desprine. No sports and game activities happen here. It happen only in annual fest. Quality of lab is average but classrooms are good. Quality of food is good in canteen but they charge more for that. Hostel rooms are good. Yes I faced infrastructure related issues like AC is available only in 1st year and lab area is not good, that area is very hot in summer.
Faculty: No, teachers are not helpful. In the beginning they will say that- You do not study, go and study and when you go with your study problem they will say- why do you use to come daily? All the teachers are M.Tech and max of them teach students to just get marks. Knowledge is not the main concern. Teaching quality is outdated and very bad. They behave like dictators. Teaching method of gaining marks is used. Ratio of student to faculty was 75:1. We did not get any industry exposure. We had gone to a cold storage for industrial visit just for formality. Course curriculum was average.
Other: Events like Mechkriti, freshers party, and annual fest and nothing.

Satisfied with the faculty on the campus.
Placements: The placements in BNCET are good. In 2018, the companies like Bajaj, Honda, Infosys, Yugata, Paytm, Paisa Bazar, and much more visited the campus for placements with good packages. On the first day, the salary offered by a company for students was around Rs. 1,20,000 per annum, and on the second day, the companies offering the salary package around Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 also visit the campus for placements. On the last day, the companies with the salary package around Rs. 3,45,000 per annum also visit the campus for placements. The placements for my senior batch were very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is satisfactory. A/Cs in all the classrooms work properly in A-block, but not in B-block. They do not repair A/Cs in B-block even after complaining. In C-block, there is no facility of A/C. There is no proper canteen in the college. The bus facility at our college is also not that good, but every year, they will change buses.
Faculty: The faculty members on the campus are good, and they are always ready to help every student who wants to learn something. This college is also a part of the local chapter of NPTEL. This college students also participated in ESVC (electric solar vehicle championship), and they secured 3rd position.
Other: The annual fest named Aadrika is organised on the campus for students.

Totally satisfying. Got placed in 2016 and its really having fun to study in this college.
Placements: Placement was almost 80% from my batch. The overall college placement was more than any of the college in Lucknow. There 3 pool campus placement also took place in college in which many college students participate and got success. In my batch overall 25 companies took student for their career growth as their employee.
Infrastructure: It is a well maintained college with all facilities available like labs, sports, workshop, computer labs and whole campus is fully Wi-Fi. Every class room is well maintained with air conditioner and proper sitting arrangement. The college is made with every single concept in mind which can provide a better facility to the students.
Faculty: The teacher in my college are well qualified. They all are carrying a master' S degree in their subjects which they are teaching. The teaching techniques is excellent. Mostly practical examples were taken to simplify difficult topics. Their one teacher behind 25 students.
Other: For every new comer their organised a freshers party for their worm well come. The annual fest (aadrika) also took place in the month of March every year. In this lots of games were organise. Dance, drama, singing and many more thinks were took place.

Other: College is very good. Particularly, some faculty members are bad in view of teaching. Marks are not getting according to our performance (it will be more or less). They won’t give scholarships fully. Some money would be always keep in their side. Placements are above average. Labs are good for learning.
