The ACJ Application Form 2026 will be released by the Asian College of Journalism on its official website - asianmedia.org.in. The ACJ registration process will commence in the first week of March 2026. Candidates seeking admission at the Asian College of Journalism for PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism must fill out the ACJ entrance exam application form on or before the last date to appear for the ACJ 2026 exam.

The Asian College of Journalism will release the ACJ 2025 form in online mode only. However, candidates can submit their application form in either online or offline mode. The Asian College of Journalism may provide three ACJ 2026 registration last dates. Candidates are advised to stay tuned to the official website to know the deadline for the ACJ application form. Q:   What is the mode of ACJ entrance exam?

The ACJ entrance exam is conducted for admission to PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism in online mode only. It means tha candidates who have applied for the ACJ exam can appear for the test from any place, as long as they have access to computer or laptop with internet facility.

Q:   How will I know if I qualify the ACJ entrance exam online test?
A: 

The Asian College of Journalism will inform the candidates who qualify the ACJ entrance exam round I (online test) via their registered email ID. The qualified candidates will be considered eligible for the secodn round, i.e., Personal Interview. The final result for selection of admission to the Asian College of Journalism will also be intimated at the registered email address.

ACJ Entrance Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, candidates must check the ACJ eligibility criteria. The Asian College of Journalism decides the eligibility criteria for the ACJ entrance exam. To be eligible to appear for the ACJ exam 2026 for admission to the PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism (BFJ) and PG Diploma in Journalism, a candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

The Asian College of Journalism also states that if a candidate has yet to take his/her undergraduate degree final exam and is awaiting results, they can also apply for the ACJ entrance exam. These students, if they clear the exam, must provide their marksheet and degree certificate to the Registrar within a week after the commencement of classes.

No, according to official website of Asian College of Journalism, the mode of examination of ACJ entrance exam is English. So, a student cannot write entrance test in Hindi or any other language.

Q:   Is there negative marking in ACJ entrance exam?
A: 

The ACJ entrance exam will have two sections: Language Skills and General Knowledge. Both sections will be of 100 marks each. Candidates will be given 0 marks for any incorrect answer. Therefore,  there is no negative marking in ACJ entrance exam.

The Asian College of Journalism provides two ways to fill out the ACJ entrance exam application form. A candidate can fill out and submit the ACJ registration form either in online mode or in offline mode. Those who complete their registration process on or before the deadline will be eligible to appear for the exam. Steps to Fill ACJ Entrance Exam Application Form: Online Mode

Follow these steps to complete the ACJ registration process in online mode:

Step 1: Visit the website of Asian College of Journalism at asianmedia.org.in/acj/.

Step 2: Click on the ACJ application form link 2026 from the page.

Step 3: Fill the application form by providing all the required details.

Step 4: Pay ACJ application fee online via net banking/credit card/debit card (including convenience fee).

Follow these steps to fill out the ACJ application form in offline mode:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Asian College of Journalism at asianmedia.org.in/acj/.

Step 2: Click on the ACJ application form link 2026 from the page.

Step 3: Download the ACJ registration form.

Step 4: Fill out the application form by providing all the required details.

Step 5: Send the application form along with the ACJ entrance exam application fee via Demand Draft.

Notes:

  • The DD needs to be drawn in favour of the Media Development Foundation and payable at Chennai. The official website informs: "Application, whether the online or hard copy, will need to be sent along with an application fee of INR 2,360/- (inclusive of 18% GST).
  • Candidates applying for both programmes need to pay only one fee. The fee can be remitted as an online transfer or sent as a Demand Draft in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai, with your reference number, full name, email ID, and mobile number written on the back of the DD.
  • SC/ST applicants are exempt from the application fee for the production of their community certificates.

Candidates will have to submit the completed application form along with DD and two passport-size photos (in case of offline fee payment) at the address:

The Asian College of Journalism charge INR 4,60,200 (inclusive of 18% GST) as tuition fee for PG Integrated Multimedia Journalism Programme. Selected candidates are required to lock their seats within 7 days of the result. To lock the seat, they have to pay an advance fee of INR 1,00,000. The remaining amount is to be paid in two equal installments of INR 1,80,100 in the provided time period.
