It has good infrastructure and decent placements. Teaching quality and curriculum need improvement.
Placements: The placement scenario at Atharva College of Engineering is decent but not exceptional. Around 65-75% of students in the Computer and IT branches get placed through college placements. The remaining students usually rely on off-campus opportunities or higher studies. The average package offered ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA, and the highest package offered is 12 LPA in rare cases. The lowest package ranges from 2.5-3 LPA, usually offered by mass recruiters. Top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, LTI, and a few startups. Most of these companies offer roles like software developer, web developer, QA engineer, and associate software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Atharva College of Engineering is honestly one of its strong points. The campus is modern, clean, and well-maintained. For Computer and IT departments, there are well-equipped labs with updated systems, high-speed Wi-Fi, and air-conditioned classrooms with projectors. The library is spacious and digital-friendly, offering access to reference books, journals, and even e-learning portals. The hostel facilities are available but limited in number. Rooms are clean and basic. It has decent maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty members at Atharva College of Engineering are a mix of experienced and fresh professors. While a few are very helpful, qualified, and teach well. Others may just stick to the syllabus and slides. If we are self-motivated, we will do fine, but do not expect spoon-feeding. The good part is that some professors are approachable outside class and will guide us with projects or placements if we show interest. The teaching quality overall is average to above average. Some lectures are engaging, while others can feel repetitive. We will have to rely on YouTube, online resources, or a coding platform to fully grasp real-world concepts.
Other: I chose this course because during my time of life, information technology was at its peak, and during that time, a lot of companies were offering good packages for even pass-out students.

Great for CS IT students, with decent facilities.
Placements: I am in 3rd year at Atharva College of Engineering. Based on senior feedback 65 to 70 percent students get placed each year. The highest package offered is about 10 LPA (Amazon and TCS Digital) and average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Major recruiters include TCS, Capgemini, LTI, Infosys and Accenture. Internships are offered by companies like TCS iON, CodeClause and startups. Common roles are software developer, QA tester, and analyst. The placement cell actively conducts drives, workshops, and mock interviews to help students prepare for placements in the final year.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-maintained labs, and a large library with sufficient books and journals. Each department has dedicated lab space and project rooms. Campus is clean and modern. Hostel facilities are decent with good security, and rooms are shared with basic amenities. The mess food is average, but there are many eating options nearby. Medical facilities are available on call, and sports grounds are accessible for football, basketball, and cricket. There are also regular cultural and technical events conducted in the auditorium.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and helpful, though teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. Some professors use PPTs and real-life examples, while others rely on textbook teaching. Curriculum follows Mumbai University and is slightly outdated. But there are efforts to include project-based learning and workshops. Exams are moderately difficult, and with regular study, students can score well. The average pass percentage is around 85-90%. There are also remedial lectures and notes shared before exams which are helpful for students who struggle.
Other: I would say average college.

It has very good infrastructure, a reasonable fee structure, but very bad management systems.
Placements: I am from the 2025-2026 final year EXTC Engineering Branch. As of now, the placements are good since a few mass recruiter companies, e.g., Capgemini, AIQ Space-Startup, hire 10 students from our branch, and TCS will come tomorrow. The initial package will depend on the internship and the performance of the students. It is about 3 to 4 LPA mostly.
Infrastructure: It is the USP of our college. The cleanliness is awesome; the plants, garden area, and washrooms are very hygienic and clean. It even has several idols like Laxmi Mata, Saraswati Mata, etc. It has a gym, AC smart classrooms, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. We have a beautiful library. We also have a canteen and a Gymkhana.
Faculty: Not all faculty members are good. Very few faculty members have overall teaching skills, communication skills, and knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, and many programs, like public speaking, make students industry-ready. The semester exam is quite medium, but 95% passed, and the others got KT.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become an EXTC Engineer. The best thing about this course is that you get to do practical work with hardware. I wish they would improve the library's PCs, keyboards, mice, etc. Besides that, it offers events, fests, scholarships, etc.

Atharva is a great college for placements, infrastructure, and student life.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent students got placed in computer and IT branches. Core branches like around 60 to 70 percent students received internships during final year. The placements at Atharva College of Engineering in recent years are fairly good especially in CS and IT. Many companies pick students through campus drives and off-campus hiring portals. Stipend is Rs 15,000 per month. Some internships are unpaid, and ETRX has relatively fewer placements.
Infrastructure: Campus includes well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a digital library, seminar halls, a dedicated placement cell, and an auditorium. College also offers excellent Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, and tech-enabled labs. Course offers a broad overview of industry standards and requirements in today's advanced tech era.
Faculty: Most faculty members are M.Tech or Ph.D. holders and are supportive, especially in CS and IT branches. However, some students feel the teaching style is more theoretical than practical. The syllabus is based on Mumbai University standards. While it covers fundamental concepts, additional certification or online courses are recommended to be industry-ready. The exams are moderately difficult. With consistent study, students can clear them easily. Pass percentage is generally around 80-90%.
Other: The fee is around 1.3-1.5 lakhs per year. Considering the infrastructure, campus facilities and placement support it's fairly reasonable. External certification and skill-building activities add extra cost.

College has low placements.
Placements: The average placement for Computer Science Engineering students is around 1% to 2% because the Training and Placement Cell is professional. The highest package in my course is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Companies like edtech and marketing firms come for placements. Around 2% to 3% of students get internships in different tech companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, etc., but they get these on their own. Roles offered include Software Developer and Assistant Manager.
Infrastructure: There are two libraries for students, but only one library has Wi-Fi. There is a common AC lab for all subjects, as I am from the Computer Science Department. There are non-AC classrooms for my department. Atharva College doesn't have a dedicated hostel for Engineering students. There is a canteen and two playgrounds for sports like basketball, football, and cricket, all of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful. They are qualified but not knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is not good, and students prefer YouTube over them. About 60% of the course is irrelevant, as it follows the old Mumbai University syllabus. It does not make students industry-ready. The exams are quite difficult. Teachers don't provide any important materials. The pass percentage is 70%.

Affordable or expensive - A detailed review of Atharva College of Engineering.
Placements: As a student of Atharva College of Engineering, I have seen that in my branch approximately 50-60% of students get placed while others opt for higher studies or off-campus placements. The highest package that I heard in my college is about 15 LPA I guess. The average salary offered is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, and all service-based. College doesn't provide any internships to students they have to look off-campus only. Roles in companies are mostly development-based based offered.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is all that I like they have 2 libraries, 1 gym, 1 canteen, and 1 cafe with a swimming pool. College doesn't have any hostels. Libraries' Wi-Fi works well during decent traffic. Classrooms are not air-conditioned, though all labs have air-conditioners. The quality of canteen food is also decent.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified to teach the students and solve their doubts. Teacher-to-student relations are friendly. The course curriculum is structured to provide a theory-based foundation. However, many students have noted that it leans more toward theory rather than practical industry-oriented content. Semester exams are conducted by Mumbai University. To pass an exam, you will need to have at least 40% of the total marks.
Other: I chose BE in computer engineering because its my passion for technology and the college's reputable infrastructure. The course has various technological topics to cover. While the college excels in many areas. There are some areas of improvement required I would say the general staff excluding faculty members. The staff has a lot of ego. I don't know what they think they are doing like they feel they are the only ones who can do these tasks. Campus life is perfect. All the fests and events are good.
