A good place for learning and enhancing your skills.

Placements: The placement at my college is so decent. Almost 40% of students got placed in tier 1 companies and 50% got placements in tier 2 or 3 companies. The median package at my college is 300,000. Only 40 to 50% of students got internships at TCS, Sonalikaa and Mahindra.

Infrastructure: The facilities offered in my department by the college are 22 labs provided for CSE student's practical work. All the labs are fully air-conditioned. Our college Wi-Fi covers the entire campus. There are 4 hostels provided by the college on your needs. Rooms are so clean, but the food is not so good. There are 2 grounds for sports and a dispensary for medical issues.

Faculty: There are so many faculty members available—approximately 150 in the CSE department. All having a minimum of 5 to 6 years of teaching experience with a good knowledge of teaching and subjects. Yes, the courses are so relevant and make students properly ready for industry. Semester exams are so difficult. The passing percentage is only 33%.

Satisfied with my college placement. But college administration can do better.

Placements: Well, 80% of students are placed through college cells. But I am not sure all of them are satisfied with their placements. The highest package this year is approximately 350,000, which is less than any other college's average package. There are only two or three Tier 1 companies, which are for CSE students.

Infrastructure: There are more than 15 labs for CSE and other courses. All the labs are full of facilities, such as Wi-Fi, and there are two libraries. There are four hostels available at our college. All hostel rooms are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Faculty: There are almost 200 faculty members at our college. They are always available to help students with problems. The semester exams are very tough; not more than 50% of students pass. All the faculty are well-qualified and have at least a master's degree.

Why to choose BBSBEC, It offers you a wide range of course in a friendly budget .

Placements: BBSBEC is a well NAAC Grade A engineering college. It offers you a wide range of courses for engineering. There are good placements; approximately 77% students got placed in an MNC. The average package offered in my course is approximately 3.7 LPA. The Tier 1 companies come to our college for campus placement.

Infrastructure: No doubt, the infrastructure of my college is so elegant. The environment is full of greenery. The hostel and mess are so clean. There are four options for hostel rooms. There is 24 hours electricity, Wi-Fi, geyser are available for students in hostel rooms.

Faculty: All the faculty of BBSBEC is well qualified and have 6 to 8 years of teaching experience. Yes, the courses are so relevant. The faculty of students trained the students for campus placement, and faculty members of BBSBEC guide the student for various functions and so much study-related tours for better understanding of students.

It is a very good college for studies.

Placements: In Baba Band Singh Bahadur Engineering College, about 40-45% of students are selected through campus placements. The highest salary package is 11 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Infosys, TCS, etc. Internships are given to all students but it's not necessary that every student has been selected.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. It has attached bathrooms.

Our college is very good. It is impressive.

Placements: About 30% of students were placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies here are HCL, TCS, Amazon and Infosys. About 15% of students got internships from our course. Software developer and software trainee are top roles offered here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our department are really good. Wi-Fi, classrooms and the library are awesome. The quality of the hostel provided is really impressive. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is very good. Medical facilities and games are fine.

Faculty: The teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are smart, and their teaching quality is really very good. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in our college are not very difficult. They are only syllabus-relevant.

Overall, this college is very good.

Placements: Placements are good for IT and CSE students. For mechanical, it is average. For electrical, civil and other branches, it is not enough. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant and TCL. The highest salary package offered lies between 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every place on the campus with 100 Kbps speed per student. Food in the mess is average. The library is available, and an auditorium is also available for professional and cultural events. Medical facilities are available, and a swimming pool and gym are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful and always willing to help you in need. They all are qualified, but in terms of knowledge, they should be extra because if some students ask a question, they have to think much to solve the doubt.

The infrastructure is good, and the placements are better than earlier.

Placements: A total of 50-60 students were placed from my batch (2016). I was placed in a total of 3 companies, one of which was Infosys. The highest package was 6 LPA, the average package was 3 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. Cognizant, Infosys, Mindtree, Capgemini, etc., companies came here. Internships were of no bond. Any student can go to any good company for the internship approved by the college. System engineer, associate software engineer, and software developer roles are offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very pleasant, and the campus has greenery. The best part of my college was its infrastructure, which was really impressive. Almost every facility is available, from Wi-Fi, labs, canteen, reading room, sports ground, and library. Everything was well maintained. Hostel facilities are average. Mess food was super delicious, but it was not bad even. The canteen is well-maintained. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games were given a good focus.

Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful. Around 70% of the teachers are efficiently knowledgeable. Teaching quality is above average. One thing to be improved is that to focus more on practical than theory. Otherwise, the teachers are really very polite and helpful. CSE is the best-developed course in this college. The course curriculum is relevant. The syllabus is divided in a good format. In computer science and engineering, the placements are really good, efficient and growing annually.

Other: I chose this course because I was interested in software development. The best thing is we can explore our creativity with technology. The only thing to be improved is to give more focus on practical than theory. Scholarships are very efficient. The fee waiver is the best scholarship a below-average family student can get. Moreover, a single girl child, Sikh minority and topper scholarships are also available. The campus crowd is decent. Events and fests are conducted regularly.

Faculty: All teachers available here are very good and professional in their fields. Teaching skills are very good. They help and guide me every time whenever I need help on any topic. Apart from the syllabus, they help me at every point. The course curriculum is good, and it provides knowledge.

Other: I have chosen the course because computer science and engineering is the field in which the job opportunities are very good. I also had an interest in hardware, and software-related topics and development procedure provided me with a lot of knowledge about other fields also. There are some updates needed in the syllabus. Events include technical and non-technical workshops. Scholarships are available for each type of students.
