The role of a Gynecology Nurse is to keep records of patients and file paperwork for treatment plans and medicines. They also update files of test results and update their patients' medical data. It makes it easier for them to make adjustments to patient-care plans as needed or suggested by the doctors or patients.

B.Sc.	Candidate must attain 17 years old on 31st December-2023 Candidate belonging to reserved categories the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40%.
B.Sc. (Post Basic)	Candidate must be medically fit.
GNM	Candidate must be 17 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 31-12-2023. However, for Lateral entry to GNM courses, candidates having Diploma in FMPHW /MMPHW/ANM course registered with Jammu & Kashmir Paramedical Nursing Council be eligible for GNM course and there will be no age bar for such candidates. Registered ANM with 40% marks and medically fit.

Elective subjects in an MSc in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing programme may differ depending on individual colleges' curriculum. However, some commonly added elective subjects include:
