B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
2.8
Average college with bad infrastructure.
Placements: The highest package and the lowest package are 7.5 LPA and 2 LPA, respectively. 30 students are currently placed as of now. Godrej is mass recruiting. Internships and various courses are also provided by the college for students. There are different committees that also provide internships to students.
Infrastructure: The canteen is very hygienic. Labs, classrooms, and the library are average. Hostels are also not in good condition. Though the college provides sufficient parking space for students, it is also within walking distance from Kharghar station. It takes only 2-3 minutes to reach the college from the station.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but focus more on exams rather than practical knowledge. A few are exceptions.
Other: I chose this course as I love to study real physics and engineering in general.

Our college really focuses more on placements and studies over fests and events.
Placements: I recently got a placement in Godrej Enterprises and got 7.75 LPA. Placements are really good for mechanical and instrumentation engineering in our college. Last year, out of 120 students more than 80 students got placed. This year till now more than 20 students have placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is quite average. To be honest, this college really needs a renovation. Labs and classrooms on the other hand, are very good. Every classroom has a smartboard. Hostels are also quite affordable. Mess and canteens are not that good and hygienic. We have numerous kinds of sports and games available, and you can actively participate in all kinds of sports.
Faculty: Teachers are always very supportive and knowledgeable. Every teacher here has Ph.D. and ME degrees. Our college also makes every student industry-ready by providing many internship opportunities, especially for mechanical engineering students. Semester examinations are easy to moderate so you have to study hard to get good grades. Pass percentage here is 70-75%.
Other: I was very much interested in mechanical engineering from the very beginning, and that's the reason why I chose this course. In my opinion, mechanical engineering is more of a practical type of course rather than theoretical, so this is the only thing that our college can change. Events, fests, and campus crowd are also quite good and great.

The college is quite good.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed in our course. The highest package offered is up to 12 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Panasonic, Deepak Fertilizer, Mahindra and Mahindra, Capgemini, Worley, Safe Pay, and Godrej & Boyce.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the college. Mechanical engineering labs are available at the college. The hostel is very unhygienic and even the food provided is not appropriate. The canteen is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful in the first year of our course. The teaching quality of some teachers is good, but they are not that good. Semester exams in this course are tough. The subjects involved in mechanical engineering are tough.
Other: I chose this course because it is challenging, and the best part is that the subjects are epic.

Review of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering - BVCOE.
Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed in our course. The highest package was around 15 LPA, the lowest package was 2 LPA, and the average package ranged from 2 to 6 LPA. TCS, Godrej & Boyce, Infosys, GreenTech, Panasonic, Deepak Fertilizers, and DHL were top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not available here. All the laboratories here have all the required facilities for our course. Classrooms are clean. The library only has books related to engineering. The engineering canteen is not good. You can walk a little ahead and try Bharati's dental canteen. The hostel seems alright.
Faculty: Teachers for our course here are the most helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent here. The course curriculum is relevant. It at least makes students ready for the mechanical industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult. We had a 100% pass percentage last year.
Other: Students here organise various seminars and workshops, mostly on important topics like what is important after our course, finance, how to use complex engineering computer programs, etc.

Bharatia Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is good and has good placement records.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is 40 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top companies that came to our college are Microsoft, Infosys, Google, TCS and a lot more. If you have no backlogs in the previous semesters and you are a good coder, then you can get placed in any company.
Infrastructure: The college mess is really awesome. I would say the college has the best canteen amongst all IPU colleges. The quality of food is very good, and it provides very fresh food products. There are 3-4 canteens available, like Amul, Nescafe and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful and have good knowledge of subjects. The pass percentage is 30% per semester. The content provided by the teachers is really good and can help you in your future. If you want to go for higher studies, then you can take the benefit of the course.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to go into this stream from starting. The campus crowd is awesome, and after applying, you can get a good placement.

It is the best college for practical knowledge.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students are placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 2.5 LPA to 11.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Godrej, Boyce, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and TCS. Almost 30-50% of students get internships from our college in well-known companies like TCS and Accenture.
Infrastructure: In this college, laboratories, classrooms, and libraries are decent. It provides the best environment for study. Hostel facilities are very good. The food served in the canteen and mess are very good. Basic medical facilities are provided in our college. Sports and games activities are the best in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very humble, down-to-earth, and cooperative. They are well qualified and rich with practical and general knowledge. The teaching quality is the best. Semester exams are moderate, but it is helpful for building students' knowledge.
Other: I opted for this course, because I like machines, engines, and cars. I am curious to know how the machine and engine work. This course improves students' practical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

It has good placements and it is a well-known college.
Placements: About 60% of students in mechanical engineering are placed. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest is about 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Godrej Boys, Green Tech, Panasonic, TCS, Infosys, Rao IIT, Deepak Fertilizer, Capgemini, Safexpay, and Supreme Offshore.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that attractive, and it is also very confusing. For every student, it takes a few minutes to know about the class in which the lectures will be conducted. The hostel is not that clean and requires proper maintenance. In the rainy season, it is more problematic.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They have helped us in many ways, whether conducting extra lectures or giving knowledge about the companies and patents. They even conducted many tests for the practice of students and even cleared their doubts whenever it was required.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in the subject of the course. It is also more challenging compared to other courses.

Not a problem at all. JSSCMS (SJCE) considers 50% of students through government quota i.e; through PGCET and the rest, 50% is through management. The only difference is the fee amount of Rs. 1, 00,000. If you are joining through management seat you will be paying Rs. 5,00,000 as total tuition fee R
