Unforeseen life at college.
Placements: Last batch got placed at well-reputed companies which came for placement at our college. Most of the students put extra efforts for the opportunity by doing internships in the 3rd or 4th year. The average package was up to 6-7 LPA, and the highest package was 20 LPA by a student from the CSE branch.
Infrastructure: The facilities at this college are good. They are student-friendly. The equipment at the laboratory is well-equipped. Also, the canteen is affordable, hygienic, and spacious. This college also has a sports complex which provides all kinds of sports for the students.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated and has good and deep knowledge of the subject. Also, they are very interactive with the class. There are multiple tests in a week which is helpful in revising the entire topic taught in that specific week. Also, assignments are given to complete regarding that specific topic.

Absolutely satisfied as many jobs were offered even after a recession.
Placements: More than 60% of students got placed. The packages offered start from 3.5 LPA and go up to 10 LPA. Data science, trainee engineer, software developer, web developer, data analysts, etc., roles are offered. A few students got internships in various organisations.
Infrastructure: According to me, the facilities and infrastructure available in my course are up to the mark. In fact, they are very good. Every corridor, every floor and every laboratory has Wi-Fi routers. The canteen and mess offer the best food.
Faculty: The faculty members are very well-qualified. They have an experience of more than 5 to 10 years. Therefore, the teaching quality is absolutely good. The course curriculum is not highly relevant because it does not really make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 40%.

Teachers are helpful when it comes to clearing the doubts.
Placements: Top recruiting companies that came for recruitment were L&T, Kirloskar, Atos, TCS, Godrej. The highest package offered was 5.5 lacs p. a. by Godrej. On an average companies offered 3.3 lacs p. a. The college is not so supportive in terms of summer internships.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are usually congested with a max strength of 70 students but the college knows that Diploma students are added to the pre congested rooms so imagine a classroom of 80-85 in a class that can hold 75 max. Same can be said about the labs. Usually they divide the entire classroom in a batch of 4 but still there's not enough space to hold 23 people (3 being the professor & lab assistants) The college just put on Wi-Fi routers throughout the campus but they are just placed to you know attract the newcomers & no actual connectivity to the students. Library is good until it is submission week. It is spacious, quiet, easily accessible & you can get all books, journals you need.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. However, the teaching method is such that more emphasis is given on marks scored in exams. Teachers are helpful when it comes to clearing the doubts. It would be better if more of practicals are carried out not just as part of curriculum but also to get the concepts right. That would help the students to be industry ready and also give a strong base.

Review of Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology.
Placements: The top recruiting company at our college was TCS. The highest salary package of 3.2 LPA and the lowest salary package of around 2 LPA were offered in our college. Around more than 80% of the students got placed. The top roles offered were executive level. Other companies like L&T and L&T Infotech, Atos, Globe Teleservices and other small companies also visit the college to offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has developed a lot now by fining and forcefully collecting money from students. Wi-Fi facility is not available for everyone, and the usage of mobile phones are not allowed on the campus. The hostel is like a prison, and the canteen was unhygienic as we found cockroaches during our tenure. However, the classrooms are quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are very strict, and you should try to get your term works. If students make any mischief, then they will be debarred. MS Sadhana teacher is very strict.

The college is good for academics, but not for enjoying college life.
Placements: Placements in the college are pretty average. The highest salary package offered was 5-6 LPA, the average was 3 LPA, and the lowest was around 1.80 LPA. TCS was the major recruiter in 2016, with recruiting almost 120 students from a batch of 300. Internship opportunities were very less as the college vacation period was not even a month.
Infrastructure: Most of the essential amenities were present in and around the campus, but they were all old. This has been solved after the construction of a new building on the campus with new classrooms and labs. Quality of food served in the canteens is not good, and it is even worse for hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college have quite a good subject knowledge and good communication skills, with a few exceptions. Lectures and labs were conducted as per the syllabus. We didn't get much industry exposure as our college didn't have contacts with any major industries in our field.
Other: The festivals and events conducted in our college were pretty happening. But they were not as large scale as compared to other colleges of Navi Mumbai.

Vidya mandir/ Quality education at the par.
Placements: It's really good. Placement in for. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology is very good. There is 100% placement in this college. If you have the potential and interest in getting placed you will get a very good package. Minimum package that you will get is 3 Lacs and the highest package you will get 8 Lacs depending on your skills.
Infrastructure: Our college is very big. Labs are well-equipped and college has Wi-Fi facility. The college has swimming pool and football ground where international tournament takes place. Very nice canteen which can accommodate 300 people at a time and very clean and big washrooms.
Faculty: Faculty is good. We have one of the best teachers in our college. There are faculty members who were a part of the ISRO and we have teachers from IIT. They are very supportive and friendly and encourage us to do our best. They use quality methods to teach us.

A well mannered education trust.
Placements: Placements were good. Almost all students with first class got placed. Salary offered was near by 3.5LPA. Most of the companies offered good job role like development or analyst position. Good number of companies visited college. Some of the good companies visited were TCS, Siemens, Reliance Jio.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. Availability of good classrooms, labs, library, canteen with good food. Hostels were also available. Overall surrounding campus was good specifically for sports a big ground was available. Hostel facility was available within campus premises.
Faculty: Faculty was good. Highly educated teaching staff was available with good teaching quality. Well mannered staff. Per semester industry visit was there to get good exposure. Teachers were really helpful. Use of the simplest teaching methods and lab assistants were also helpful.

Memorable 4 years of my engineering life!
Placements: Did not apply for placements as I had my own family business. Got offers offline but as I had a descent backup I joined my own family business. Our college overall had descent placements with majority being selected by TCS and a base salary of 1.92lacs per annum (not sure). .
Infrastructure: Our college had all infrastructure in house like modern labs, well maintained classrooms, a huge ground for sports and cultural festivals. Our library was the best among all facilities as it had a huge variety of books and knowledge. Canteen food was descent not bad but not good as well we usually carried tiffins. All floors had one water cooler with proper distilled water. Computer labs had all licensed software and were air conditioned.
Faculty: Teachers here make all students study and that is why my college had the highest passing percentage (this Is not something I've surveyed, just assumption. To be taken with a pinch of salt). Teachers used various methods like presentations, interactive lectures, assignments which helped us to self study. It is only because of my college and its teachers that we secured good percentage throughout without any extra tuitions.
Other: Fest was good and goof quality events. Campus surroundings is descent and quite. Campus crowd was also good. Extracurricular was not my college style it was just academics.
