BITS Pilani Hyderabad admission is entrance-based. BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus offers four Integrated First Degree, Higher Degree, and PhD programmes. The selection criteria for some of the courses, such as BTech, BSc, M.Tech, etc., require BITSAT entrance exam scores. Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses (BE) at its Pilani campus.
For admission to the PhD course at BITS Hyderabad, the candidate shall be a graduate with 60% aggregate. An applicant shall have adequate proficiency in English as well. The accepted examination for PhD course is UGC NET and CSIR NET.
For BITS Hyderabad ME course admission, candidates can apply with a valid GATE score. Apart from GATE, the candidates can also apply with a BITS HD entrance test score. Apart from this, for final selection, the shortlisted candidates also have to participate in the group discussion and personal interview rounds conducted by the institute. The eligibility criteria for BITS HyderabadM.Techadmissions is that candidate should have passed Class 12 pass from a recognised board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Additionally, students should have at least 75% overall aggregate in Class 12 and at least 60% aggregate in each of the subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For admission to BE courses at BITS Hyderabad, the candidate shall be a Class 12 pass from a recognised board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For completion of the admissions-related procedures, on the day of reporting, the aspirant required to get the following documents verified in the original. Along with the original, students are requested to bring two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the documents mentioned below:
- Class 12 mark sheet and pass certificate
- Matriculation/Secondary-School/10 Pass Certificate issued by the Board (Original & Copy)
- Transfer/Migration Certificate (Original & Copy)
- Certificate of Medical Fitness duly signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner (Refer to the Proforma attached with the offer letter)

The placements are going on for the Class of 2024. As per the media report, the participating recruiters offered a variety of job roles to the students across sectors, such as BFSI, IT, Education, FMCG, Consulting, and E-Commerce, etc. The top recruiters of BITS Hyderabad in 2024 included EY, HSBC, Yes Bank, KPMG, Accenture, Barclays, IBM, etc. These recruiters placed students in various sectors and offered new-age job profiles.
BITS Hyderabad cutoff 2024 has been released across various BE specialisations in the form of Round 1, including the seven iterations. BITS Hyderabad BE cutoff 2024 ranged between, 161 and 298 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the top courses with the highest score needed were B.E. in Computer Science (298), B.E. in Mathematics and Computing (293), and B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (284). For BE specialisations, the last round closing scores were between 235 and 298. The toughest specialisation among the General AI category was BE in Computer Science. On the other hand, the easiest course was Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.). For admission to BPharm, the last round closing rank among the General AI category was 161.
BITS Hyderabad OBC category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BE specialisations, Integrated MSc specialsiations and BPharm . The last round closing ranks for the OBC category candidates were between the range of 135 and 284. The most difficult specialisation turned out to be in Computer Science. After BE in Computer Science, the toughest specialisation turned out to be BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

To apply for the B.Arch programme at BITS Pilani – Hyderabad Campus, student must have 75% in physics, chemistry and mathematics and for other subjects it should be 60% .
And the applicant must also have appeared for the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), which is compulsory for admission
