College placements are good but the study burden is quite high. The frequency of exams is high.
Placements: In our branch, placements are around 75% - 80%. The highest salary package offered is 9.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Honda, MG Motors, Adani Group, Siemens, TCS, Torrent Power, and many more. Internship opportunities provided by the college are not good. The roles offered by our course include GET (Graduate Trainee Engineer), quality, and manufacturing department, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has facilities like library, auditorium, and well-equipped laboratories with newer equipment. Classrooms are digital, with some having smart boards and others having projectors. Facilities provided by our college are good and decent. It is within walking distance from the college, but the mess food is not fine. Sports club of our college is good and provides opportunities for all types of sports.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Some professors are from IIT and faculty members are well-experienced. Some faculty members are newer, which is helpful as they use different teaching methods. They also provide practical exposure, which helps with industrial development. The difficulty level is moderate in our college and passing criteria is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to know how electricity is generated and transmitted. Campus Wi-Fi needs improvement as it becomes very slow when the number of users is high. An annual function named Udaan which is very good, is held every year.

Placements: About 98% of students were placed in this course and about 87% of students got internships from this course in various companies. The highest package offered in this course is 5 lakh to 10 lakh and the lowest package offered in this course is 90 thousand to 3 lakh.
Infrastructure: The facility provided by the course is good as it includes availability of Wi-Fi for students, clean classrooms and library, and the hostel provided by the college is good as it includes good quality food and medical facilities for students.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and they also provide good quality notes for students for their exam preparation. The pass percentage of the semester exam was about 76%, which is very good and it is due to experienced teachers and hard work of students.

Learning skills and facilities provided by the college are average.
Placements: Students require around 6 to 9+ CPI for placements. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 2.8 LPA. The recruiting companies are Reliance, L&T, Torrent Power, Worley, Siemens, Adani, Hitachi, and Essar Power (Nayara), etc. Companies like Monarch Innovation and Raychem also recruit. The roles offered are assistant engineer, JE, JD, sales manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi for laptop users and others in the library system. We have many labs according to the course and system learning like EV, robotics, power systems, high voltage labs, machine labs, measurement labs, BEE, embedded systems, microcontroller & microprocessor labs, computer labs, PLC labs, tinkering labs, etc., are available. We have many classrooms, with smart boards and projectors attached in some classrooms. Our department has a library with books on electrical engineering. Our college has 2 hostels, one has all the facilities at a high rate of price, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM time limit, and the other same time limit, but is in bad condition.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful and provide guidance. Some faculty members are Ph.D. holders, and some have Dr. qualification. The teaching quality is good to average. It is helpful for students to learn the industry environment and gain practical skills. The exams are average to hard, and the pass percentage is 59-89% subject-wise.
Other: This year, the demand for electrical engineers has been high, and electrical with AI tools and technology has been updated day by day. The practical information is about industrial projects, working techniques, technical specialties, and skill development. We have many events like Udaan, Genesis, etc. The alumni association provides some scholarships for students.

Review of Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed every year, with the highest, lowest, and average packages being 8 LPA, 3 LPA, and 4.5 LPA respectively. Top recruitment companies are Adani, Reliance, L&T, etc. Electrical and Electronics branches' placement is very well compared to other core branches, excluding mechanical.
Infrastructure: All students are charged a Wi-Fi fee; this facility is available in all departments, but connectivity password is not provided. Only library Wi-Fi can be used. All library facilities are excellent. All students are charged a fan fee, but capacitors are old and as it is bad even with the regulator at 5, the fan rotates as much as 2, due to which the students have to suffer a lot in summer. Labs are good in view of infrastructure and experiments equipment. A. M. Naik Hostel infrastructure is very good, but the food facility is not well.
Faculty: All the professors are very knowledgeable, but half of the professors in the first year cannot explain to the students clearly. They run the course thinking that if they know everything, the student must also know and are not able to explain. They think that if they know, due to which the students suffer.
Other: According to me, most of the events in engineering colleges in Gujarat happen in BVM. The surroundings are quiet, cultural, and natural.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Less than 10% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Torrent Power is the top recruiting company. Around 30-40% of students got internships. The top role offered is an electrical engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good infrastructure and facilities. We have a great campus. The campus provides great environment. The food served in our college is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. They do not provide extra marks. This course is very difficult. It is a very good course for the industry. Semester exams are very difficult. Our college tries to match the exam level of NITs.
