Placements: More than 50 percent of students get placed, and the average placement is 5 lakh. Top companies like Honda, Alstom, L&T, and Adani recruit from this college. The college provides various types of internships, including opportunities with ISRO and internships in Russia. Our course offers industrial experience.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, with labs that are very systematic and equipped with new technology. The classrooms are nice, and each department has its own library, along with a central library. Many types of sports and cultural activities are held in this college.
Faculty: Teachers will explain topics as many times as you need if you don’t understand. The courses are related to industrial concepts, and the semester is not that difficult; you just need to grasp the topics. Some professors are IIT graduates with extensive knowledge.
Other: The college provides numerous clubs and student chapters to join, allowing you to improve your skills. Each course has its own unique aspects.

Review of Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya.
Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed in our course. The salary package ranges from 6 LPA - 8 LPA and for the training 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Top companies like IT companies and many engineering companies like Infosys, Wipro, Elecon, Tata, and TCS are recruiting companies. The majority of internship participants received 60-80% of them are with this firm. Top roles offered for this course are accounting, costing, tax officer, manufacturing, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities like labs, classrooms, library, and sports ground are good. Our hostel building is good. The quality of food served in the mess and canteen is good. A small health center is available. Free Wi-Fi with high-speed is available. A library with more than 10000 books is available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very cooperative and friendly. They provide students with apt guidance to achieve their goals. Our faculty members are very knowledgeable. Many faculty members are Ph.D. holders and IIT pass-outs. They always motivate their students to do better. They are available to clear doubts regarding all topics.
Other: I opted for this course as I am interested in this course. Many fests, events, games, DJ nights, cultural nights, and cultural nights are organised. The campus crowd is huge. It has an autonomous status and one of the benefits of this is BVM decides its syllabus.

Overall, I had a good experience and nice memories.
Placements: Around 8-10 students out of 60 students from our batch of 2018 got placed during campus interviews. So, approximately 15% of the total students got selected. The highest salary package was offered by L&T, which was around 5.65 LPA. The average salary package provided to us was 3.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were L&T, Reliance, GSFC (Gujarat State Fertilizer Company), Bombardier India Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Shriram Housing Finance. None of the students from our batch got internships in any company. Most of the companies offered a role of junior engineer trainee in various fields.
Infrastructure: Our college has an average Wi-Fi facility. Labs are good with all needed equipment and are also being upgraded. Classrooms are also in good condition, and the library is also maintained in good shape. The library has a huge number of books and almost all engineering books. The canteen is below average. However, the canteen is kept clean, but quality food is not provided. So, most of the time, students have their breakfast or lunch outside the campus. There are no sports and games facilities. However, some first aid medical equipment is available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. But I do not know whether the course makes students industry-ready or not. The course will provide adequate theoretical knowledge, but it lacks practical exposure, which companies expect from students.
Other: I chose the production engineering course because of its availability in our state. In Gujarat, only 4 colleges offer this course, so I thought we have less competition and have good demand. Our college reputation is also good.

Once a BVMite is always a BVMite.
Placements: Students in our college are ready to accept any challenges. They are powerful with theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Around 11 students got placed in the academic year 2018-19. The highest package offered this year was 10 Lacs per annum by Byju's, and the lowest package was Rs. 1.4 Lacs per annum. The average package was Rs. 3.4 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, sports and games, and medical facilities are available on the campus. Quality of labs and classrooms is world-class. Quality of food in our canteen is very good. There are 200 hostel rooms. They are good and also give you comfort like home.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The student to teacher ratio is 20:1. We got good industry exposure. Every year, our college organises an industrial visit to various GIDCs. This is the best interactive session for students with industry people.
Other: Our techfast called Udaan is one of the best events which is organised by the students every year.

The college is a reservoir of technical knowledge.
Placements: Placements of the college are average. Almost 50% of students of our batch got placed in 2018. The number of placements is improving every year, but the quality and job satisfaction are comparatively less for students. A few notable companies such as Larsen & Toubro, Alpha 9 Marine, and TCS etc., visit the campus to offer placements.
Infrastructure: The college was established in 1948, and according to us, the infrastructure facilities provided are still the same. However, there are some notable technological advances which make the ambience of the classrooms similar to various IITs and NITs of the state.
Faculty: The professors here are highly qualified and experienced. BVM is the right place for a hard-working student and who has the learning ability. The quality of teaching was satisfactory. The college organised many industrial visits which helped us in gaining industrial knowledge.
