Ups and downs of BITS through some unknown insights.
Placements: In my course, according to the current data, almost 98.57% of students got placed even with the current recession era. The highest salary package offered is 84 LPA. The average salary package offered is 18.34 LPA, and the lowest salary package is not mentioned to us. Top recruiting companies like Google, Amazon, and Nvidia visit the college for placements. The internship is compulsory in our college, and our college itself provides us with it through a scheme called practice school.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility in our hostel is not good. The land cables work better than the Wi-Fi. Classrooms are neat and tidy. Hostels are clean, but there is a dumping ground near, which sometimes ends with a bad odour. The mess food is better than most of the colleges, and the canteen is affordable. Sports facilities are quite good and almost every sports facility is available. We all get medical insurance.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful. They set up a Chembur consultation hour which helps us to get a one-on-one interaction with them. The course curriculum is based on Massachusetts University as it is one of the leading universities of the world. Questions are logically based instead of rote learning. Exams are quite difficult, which makes us more competitive.
Other: BITS is a recognised institute all over the country, just in comparison with the IIT. I chose this course because of the exposure I would get in this college. The best thing is the alumni network and the helpful seniors. I feel the fee is quite high, and if BITS can be made a little bit more affordable then it would be better. It regularly organises fests like technical fests and cultural fests which are quite large-scale and fun, Almost hundreds of other college members come to our campus in fests. We get a scholarship both on merit and merit-based.

Good placements and very happy college life and is highly suggested.
Placements: The college offers good placements with a starting package of 13 LPA. The college provides good and high quality of education and good flexibilities for students to choose their own teachers. It has zero percentage attendance and conducts a good number of events and sports fests.
Infrastructure: The accommodation provided on the campus is very good and charges very minimally compared to other institutes. Our course is also designed in a proper way, where there will be quizzes, mid-semester, and final examinations. It's a perfect and good way to complete the course.
Faculty: The faculty here are highly educated and experienced. They teach in a good and understandable way, and the exams of the course are designed by the professors themselves based on what is taught in their respective classes. This is overall what happens in BITS.
Other: Fests and events give a lot of enjoyment to students. We will have a good number of fests and events each semester.

This college has everything you need for an engineering student.
Placements: Placements have been excellent in BITS Hyderabad in the recent placement season. The average CTC for ECE department has been 28.47 Lacs, for EEE it has been 28.06 Lacs, and for ENI department, it has been 27.52 Lacs. The maximum CTCs for all the three above mentioned branches has been 51.03 Lacs. For computer Science department, the average CTC has been 30 Lacs. The top companies that recruit from the electronics department are Qualcomm, Nvidia, Intel, Google Hardware, etc. Almost all the students got internship through practice school, and about a third of the students got pre placement offers.
Infrastructure: Their are two academic blocks in our campus, the 'Old Academic Block' and the newly constructed 'New Academic Block'. Both the academic blocks have state of the art infrastructure, huge lecture halls and labs, food court, library and auditorium. The library has a huge variety of books available. The auditorium is the 2nd the largest auditorium in Asian, and can support big concerts, shows and workshops. Likewise, the hostels have al the facilities available, and have spacious dorms for all the students.
Faculty: The quality of teaching range for all the teachers here, but is overall very good. Majority of teachers allow students to conduct a research project under them. The course curriculum is updated about every year to accommodate new technologies and discoveries in the engineering field, so it is safe to say that the students are very much industry ready before stepping into their areas of work.
Other: Entrepreneurship is something which is being gaining a lot of momentum in the recent years in our college.

BITS Hyderabad - Go for it!
Placements: The placement here has been quite decent for this year. Almost 90% of the students in our branch were placed in the domains of their choice. The average package was INR 28.6 LPA for our branch. Most of the students opt for the software-developed roles; some others go for the core electronics roles at top firms. Texas Instruments, Nvidia, and Qualcomm are the companies that offer the highest packages.
Infrastructure: All the hostel rooms are equipped with tube lights, fans, chairs and tables, beds, and racks. There are provisions for LAN connectivity for each student as well. There are also a sufficient number of pluses, which would suffice for the needs of each student. We have badminton and volleyball courts in our hostel, along with many common rooms with provisions for table tennis, carrom, and other indoor sports. All the classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Mess food is also decent.
Faculty: There are mid-semester exams and comprehensive exams at the end of each semester, and quizzes and exist-class tests are held quite frequently to test the learning of the students. Mostly, all the students manage to pass the exams with little difficulty, and even if they fail to do so, the professors and instructors have provisions for 'chamber consultation hours' for a student to solve their doubts with their help.
Other: There is a lot of room for extracurricular activities here, such as the astronomy club, the stock-trading club, and the computer science club. Students can easily discover and pursue their own interests.

Placements: The placements in our college are very good. The highest package offered in our on-campus placement, according to last year, was INR 60.75 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our college are Apple, Microsoft, Infosys, Toyota, Google, etc. Many students get internship opportunities at our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The campus of our college is well maintained and has very clean premises. The food available in the mess is good, and in the canteen, the food is pocket-friendly and within the budget of students. The whole campus is connected to Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The faculty here are very helpful as they reach out to students for queries and schedule extra lectures for students having doubts on some topics. The teachers are also very qualified and knowledgeable. The semester exams are not so tough if the student is giving his or her time to studying.
Other: Fests and events at our college are very enjoyable.

Review of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our college every year with very good salary packages. Top recruiting companies are Apple, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. Many students get internships in our college. The highest salary package offered this year was 60.75 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided on campus are good. Classrooms and the library are well maintained, and students uphold the decorum of the campus. Mess food is good, and the canteen food is not costly. Medical facilities are available 24X7. There is a sufficient budget and well-maintained grounds for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly educated and knowledgeable. Teaching ability is very good. Semester exams are not tough if students study steadily. Around 80-85% of students pass the exams every year easily. The course curriculum is not hectic as there are no compulsory attendance criteria.
Other: Events organised in our college are very good.

I am satisfied with facilities, faculty members, mess food, fests, and crowd.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. The average salary package offered is 17 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, Infosys, etc., visit our college. Almost 100% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities and infrastructure. It provides all the necessities like a good mess, a student activity center for indoor sports, a tennis court, a basketball court, a football ground, a cricket ground, etc. All labs and classrooms are huge. They have a good environment. The hostel and medical facilities are well-maintained and are open all the time.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and qualified. The quality of the teaching is top-notch. Exams are difficult to get good grades. The curriculum is relevant. The average marks depend on the in charge.
Other: I chose this college because it provides high placements. The campus hosts 3 fests named Pearl, Atmos, and Arena. They are celebrated with a lot of effort, fun, and enjoyment.

He should focus on basics and practice more and more.
Before clearing an entrance exam all the branches have same criteria.
It may vary college to college due to their facility and infrastructure.
If he wants to join ece just tell him to focus on practice and fallow what teacher is saying in his cla

With a score of 210, there is no change to get admission in ECE branch. Rather, admission in any other branch is next to impossible with 210. Generally, the cut-off for admission in BITS for any branch (except B.Pharm) is around 295, slightly varying each year.
