Review of IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Talking about placements here, they are average only. The top package is 64 LPA, and the lowest is about 6-7 LPA. The average package is around 13-14 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Jindal Steel, Godrej, etc., visit our campus for employee roles.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. It is the second-largest campus among all the IITs. It has an admin building, an auditorium, three lecture halls, faculty quarters, three girls' hostels, and three boys' hostels. Wi-Fi is available most of the time. We have a gym, reading room, library, swimming pool, restaurant, CCD, and night canteens.

Faculty: Faculty members at IIT are well-educated and highly inspiring. They themselves studied at other IITs and have crucial degrees. They are very helpful and provide us with every kind of resource for our exams. They take lectures, tutorial sessions, give assignments, and conduct tests. Overall, the teaching quality is very good. Exams are usually lecture-based and easy. They mostly stick to the course curriculum, which makes us ready for industry exposure.

The college provides really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement opportunities at IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. The highest package is nearly 74 LPA, and the lowest package is around 14–15 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Jindal Steel, and many more. Despite having many opportunities, students also prefer off-campus placements for better options.

Infrastructure: Being a new-generation IIT, IIT Bhubaneswar has a modern and aesthetic campus with excellent infrastructure. It is the second-largest IIT in terms of area. The campus is safe. It provides great facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, and many sports facilities like cricket, football, basketball, and others. It also has a well-stocked library, fully air-conditioned centralized classrooms, and reading rooms. The hostel premises are also good, with good-quality mess food.

Faculty: Talking about the faculty and course curriculum, it includes labs, practical sessions, and discussions. Regular homework and assignments are given to students. Tutorials are also conducted with three to four mentors for each classroom. All faculty members are well-educated. The exams are of a moderate level, with questions mainly related to tutorials and discussions.

My college life is what I like the most.

Placements: Placement opportunities at IIT Bhubaneswar are getting better day by day. Initially, it was not so good, but now it's developing a lot. Good companies with higher placement opportunities used to come here. Most of the students get placed. The average package is of 60 to 70 LPA. Mostly good for core branch members.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very amazing. Starting from the main GATE, we move to the admin building, then the auditorium. Then seven different schools for different branches. Three large lecture halls. Then three boys' hostels and three girls' hostels. Playground for all types of sports. Then a space area for extra activities like yoga, gym, and many more. Then the community center and faculty quarters.

Faculty: Semester exams are moderate here. Two times exams are conducted here. Mid seems and end seems. Faculty members teach very well, and yes, attendance is also compulsory here. Assignments, quizzes, and test helps a lot in writing the exams. This also includes practical knowledge, like labs for industrial exposure.

About IIT Bhubaneswar experience.

Placements: Overall placement in B.Tech students is around 90%. The highest package is 67 LPA. A lot of well-known PSUs and MNCs come to the campus. This year, 88% students are placed from civil engineering department. The highest package for my branch is 21 LPA, minimum is 6 LPA, and average is 14.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Sports facilities are good. Classrooms are amazing. There are always Wi-Fi issues throughout the campus. Mess food is very bad. Hostel facilities are good. One big problem is the attendance policy. Our college has a 100% mandatory attendance policy which is complete madness.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum is a bit old but this year it has improved quite a bit. The course curriculum is very relevant to industry and academia. Semester exams are not very hard. But some courses are very difficult.

I am satisfied with my college at IIT Bhubaneswar.

Placements: As I am a first year student here at this college, I have learned that placement opportunities from this college are not so good but developing and will develop soon. Students have to learn most of the things by themselves, and have to get ready for internships also by themselves. Average package is about 50 LPA to 60 LPA for top branches only, not good for normal branches.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is good. Starting from the main gate then the auditorium, then moving to administrative building for all admission and other processes, then further moving to schools for different branches. After that, there are girls hostels on one side and boys hostels on the other side of L-gate. There is shopping complex both new and old. There is space for playing. Also, there are large lecture halls. Classrooms are huge with all types of facilities like AC, board, furniture, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, very helpful, and motivating. Their teaching quality is also good and acceptable. They try their best to teach us. They take tests, quizzes, and give assignments. Exams are held two times in one semester, end semester, and mid-semester exams, which are also very easy.

Other: Fests are held once every year but celebrations are usually held for a duration of about 2 to 3 months. Clubs and societies are also there which are highly helpful for achieving self-confidence.

Satisfaction of college life.

Placements: About 40 LPA to 50 LPA is the average package offered by the companies on our campus for high-branch students. Companies like Microsoft and Google come for placements here. About 30 to 40% of students get internships here. Also, students have to go in search off-campus internships.

Infrastructure: College is very good. Our college is very big and very much area is available. So many buildings and 7 schools of different departments. Wi-Fi is always available. Labs are also there in every school. Mess food is also good. Canteen is also there in every hostel. Hostel is also very big and beautiful.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated also they all belong to different IITs. They teach very well. All the stuff that comes in the exam comes from their notes only. Exams are also easy. Pass percentage is 50%. There is also relative grading every time.

Placement and overall review of our college.

Placements: Approximately 30 to 40% of students only get internships from the on-campus companies, while others have to look for out-campus internships. As I remember, a student of civil engineering got a package of about 10 LPA this year. This shows that very less package is offered by these companies.

Infrastructure: College campus is outstanding. As it is a college of the new generation, it is beautifully designed. Hostel rooms are big enough as well. The library is very large and contains a large number of books. Mess food is also acceptable. Wi-Fi is always available everywhere.

Faculty: Faculty members are okay. They're highly educated, and I think most of them are IIT students of their time. Their teaching quality is very good. They give most of their efforts and time for the guidance, teaching, and motivation of the students. Exams are also very easy, they're mostly based on the notes from the classroom.

College review of IIT Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Placements are not so good. Less companies come here for placements only for particular branches like computer science and electrical only. Other branches have to look for their own and reach for off-campus placements. Generally, 10 LPA to 15 LPA is the first-time average package.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice. Buildings are very large and fully developed. Mess food is also good and hygienic. Library is fully furnished, and all types of books are available there. Wi-Fi is also available everywhere in the campus every time.

Faculty: Faculty is also nice. They are the best guides you need here in the college and always motivate you and whatever they teach in the class almost the same comes in the exam. They also give us a party after the completion of the semester. Attendance must be proper for further examining the semester exams.

Other: Our college campus is good and the environment is also friendly.
