Yes, BITS Pilani Hyderabad offer direct admissions. Candidates who are first-rank holders of all the Central and State boards are admitted directly to the specialisation of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. However, the aspirants have to submit the relevant documents to the institute to seek direct admission.

BITS Hyderabad offers good placements annually for its various courses like BTech, M.Tech and BPharma, etc. in 2023, a total of 109 recruiters participated in the placement process 2023 and placed students of various courses like BTech, MTech, and BPharma, etc. The key highlights of BITS Hyderabad placements for the Class of 2023 are presented below:

The BITS Hyderabad admissions are entrance-based. Also, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for BITS Pilani Hyderabad admissions. The entrance exams accepted include BITSAT, GATE/ BITS HD Online Test + GDPI. Candidates who qualify for the exam are further called for counseling. Moreover, candidates who want admission to PhD programmes need to take the respective entrance test for admission as well.

To get admission into BITS Hyderabad, candidates must have a valid score in the BITSAT, as per the category they belong to. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the last round closing ranks were between the range of 161 and 298. Therefore, candidate belongoing to the General AI category must have a score of atleast  cutoff was released for 298 to get admission into the college. 

A total of seven courses are offered at BITS Pilani for Hyderabad Campus. Since, the subjects are broad, it is recomend to visit the official website. However, the seven BTech courses are mentioned in the table below:

BITS Hyderabad is a private college, while NITs are government run technology institutes. On comparing the tuition fees NIT has low fees INR 5 lakh. The total tuition fee for BE courses at BITS Hyderabad is INR 19.94 lakh. 

BITS Hyderabad BITSAT cutoff 2025 for BE Computer Science has not been released in the public domain and is available only behind the login. Going by the past year trend, BITSAT cutoff for the previous year after Iteration 1 for BE Computer Science offered at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad stood at 279, for 2021 it was 319 and for 2020 it was 292.32. Hence, the estimated BITS Hyderabad BITSAT cutoff 2025 after Iteration 1 for BTech Computer Science should range between 279 and 319.

Also, BITS Hyderabad cutoff for other BE specialisations have witnessed a decline in scores last year as compared to the previous years because of the change in the BITSAT 2022 exam pattern. 

According to the reports, the highest package offered by BITS Hyderabad stood at INR 60.75 LPA. Similarly, the range of packages offered by NITs is also the same. Now when we compare according to the BTech feels, the BITS Hyderabad BTech fee is around INR 19.9 lakhs, whereas the NIT BTech fee is around  INR 6.25 lakhs. Moreover, both the colleges have good infrastructure and facilities. The difference between both colleges is that NITs are Government colleges whereas BITS Hyderabad is a private college. Candidates can choose the college according to their preference.

BITS Hyderabad cutoff 2024 was released on the basis of BITSAT. The cutoff was released for admission to BE and Integrated MSc specialisations, and BPharm. For BE specialisations, the last round closing scores were between 235 and 298. The toughest specialisation among the General AI category was BE in Computer Science. On the other hand, the easiest course was Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.). For admission to BPharm, the last round closing rank among the General AI category was 161. 

BITS Hyderabad OBC category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BE specialisations, Integrated MSc specialsiations and BPharm . The last round closing ranks for the OBC category candidates were between the range of 135 and 284. The most difficult specialisation turned out to be in Computer Science. After BE in Computer Science, the toughest specialisation turned out to be BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
