Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani-Hyderabad campus is one of the premier Technical and Science institutes of higher learning in India that began functioning in 2008. Yes, BITS Pilani Hyderabad offer direct admissions. Candidates who are first-rank holders of all the Central and State boards are admitted directly to the specialisation of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. However, the aspirants have to submit the relevant documents to the institute to seek direct admission.
For BITS Hyderabad ME course admission, candidates can apply with a valid GATE score. Apart from GATE, the candidates can also apply with a BITS HD entrance test score. BITS Hyderabad OBC category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BE specialisations, Integrated MSc specialsiations and BPharm . The last round closing ranks for the OBC category candidates were between the range of 135 and 284. The most difficult specialisation turned out to be in Computer Science. After BE in Computer Science, the toughest specialisation turned out to be BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The candidate needs to pass Class 12 pass from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The students must have at least 75% aggregate in Class 12 and a minimum of 60% aggregate in each of the subjects, including PCM.

For completion of the admissions-related procedures, on the day of reporting, the aspirant required to get the following documents verified in the original. Along with the original, students are requested to bring two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the documents mentioned below:
- Class 12 mark sheet and pass certificate
- Matriculation/Secondary-School/10 Pass Certificate issued by the Board (Original & Copy)
- Transfer/Migration Certificate (Original & Copy)
- Certificate of Medical Fitness duly signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner (Refer to the Proforma attached with the offer letter)

To apply for the B.Arch programme at BITS Pilani – Hyderabad Campus, student must have 75% in physics, chemistry and mathematics and for other subjects it should be 60% .
