Review of BITS Pilani K K Birla, Goa Campus.
Placements: More than 80% of students got placed. A lot of companies recruit students, including Microsoft, Google, Rubric, Dell, Deloitte, Oracle, Adobe, Nestle, etc. Top roles include software developer, analyst, app developer, product management, etc. The median package is 17 LPA. Core branches like electrical have an average salary of 18 LPA - 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facility is very good. The academic block is beautiful, consisting of 4 lecture theatres and a lot of classrooms. Some labs are also present. A big canteen includes a kitchen and a Nescafe shop. There is also a big auditorium in the basement. There is a football and cricket ground with floodlights. Other sports facilities are also available. Hostels of the new block are very good with fully furnished rooms and 2 common washrooms on each floor. The campus is beautiful and green.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They have doctorates and master's degrees in several fields. The exams are conducted every month (quizzes, mid-semester, and final exams). Labs are conducted weekly and have evaluative components also. Semester exams are very tough and the average is very low. The pass percentage varies but is usually 25% of the total marks of the subject.
Other: Fests are huge with the budget varying from 1 crore - 1.5 crore. Weaves is the largest fest with various artists coming from across the world.

One of the best engineering colleges in India.
Placements: The placements were amazing. The minimum package for my batch was 12 lakhs rupees, which was given to a student in the Chemical branch. The highest package this year was 40 lakhs rupees, which was given to a Computer Science student. Top companies were JP Morgan and Texas Instruments.
Infrastructure: The course and hostel are absolutely amazing, other than one big downside, which is the food. The food is horrendous, and you eat it just for the sake of staying alive. The paid canteens are good, but the mess is bad. All classrooms are air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi throughout the campus. The library has a wide range of books to cover every genre. Sports and games are widely encouraged, and there are multiple football grounds, as well as a gym and badminton/tennis courts.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent. All of them are professors who have decades of experience and are really warm and welcoming toward new students. The exams are pretty difficult because BITS works on a relative grading score, i.e., your marks are compared with others', and then you are given a ranking rather than having a fixed-point system where if you get a certain number of marks, you will be given a certain grade. The pass percentage is very high, around 80-90%.

Our college campus gives a good experience.
Placements: Around 96% of students get placed in EEE. The highest salary package is around 40 LPA and the lowest salary package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Apple, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Infineon Technologies, etc. Students get summer internships at Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Western Digital, Google, etc. Top roles are hardware engineer, design verification engineer, communication engineer, analog-digital design engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Campus is covered with Wi-Fi including in hostels and all academic blocks. It contains a huge library with all types of books and textbooks. There are many lecture halls and classrooms equipped with black or whiteboards, presenters, speakers, and air-conditioners. All subject labs have required equipment that is well maintained. Hostels are divided into three blocks and each block has a separate mess or dining hall. There are common rooms with TV, TT table, and carrom boards in each hostel. There is a medical center and medical shop on campus. There is a student activity center with a badminton court, table tennis tables, squash, carrom room, dance room, meditation room, pool tables, and outdoor courts for basketball, football, tennis, and cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly knowledgeable, and well versed with their subjects and go the extra mile to teach their subjects to the students. The course curriculum is designed strategically to help students understand and learn important concepts and is very relevant. Exam difficulties vary from subject to subject and faculty. The pass CGPA is 4.5 for undergraduates and 5.5 for higher degree students.

Placements: More than 95% of students get placed. Students can sit for a variety of companies irrespective of their coursework ranging from industries like IT/Tech, core (Electronics-analog and digital), finance, data analytics, consulting, product management etc. Texas Instruments, Nvidia, and Samsung are good companies recruiting core electronics engineers. Around 20-25% of the batch gets summer internships in IT companies and core electronics companies as well. Everyone gets a 6-month long practice school internship whoever applies for it, which is also a part of our coursework. The roles offered are digital, analog and IT-based roles.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and libraries are air-conditioned, and hostels are well-maintained with all facilities like western toilets, water filters etc. The campus is connected with BITS Campnet (Campus Wi-Fi), which gives good speed. The food quality is above average. There are 3 mess facilities, A, C and D. They all serve fresh food 3-times a day, and the menu is repeated every week. It is slightly changed once a month. There is a medical center and an ambulance within the campus.
Faculty: The teachers, specifically in the electrical department, are not that great. Some are good in terms of their knowledge and teaching style. But they design very tough papers and barely give you marks. You really have to study hard if you've taken EEE, ECE or ENI.
Other: Cycles are not allowed. Events are a huge celebration and a major attraction. The scholarships provided are merit-based and merit-cum-need based. Hard Working students are easily able to grab these scholarships. There is a SAC (Student Activity Center) with all sports facilities like chess, dance, carrom, yoga, snooker, gym, badminton and table tennis courts, and cricket, football, basketball and volleyball grounds. A dance room is also available.

This college has a good return on investments.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed. The rest 10% of students refuse placements because entrepreneurship is higher studies. The average salary package offered in B.E. EEE is 17 LPA. Top companies recruiting are Texas Instruments, and Qualcomm. Most of the companies hire for analog and digital electronics.
Infrastructure: In this college, various laboratories are provided for the EEE students which are well-equipped. Complete campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is air-conditioned, with several seating halls, and a huge collection of books. Hostels are newly built and are double occupancy for first-year students. Mess food is of good quality. Medical center has all the modern equipment necessary. Sports and games facilities are provided in the SAC i.e student activity center.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified with most professors having a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. The teaching methodology is average. The course curriculum is relevant, because of the PS i.e Practice School. The students already have good industry exposure. Exams have relative grading. The passing percentage for a course is 10-15% of marks.

It has a good campus life and a good environment.
Placements: About 90% of students get placed. The average salary package ranges from 10 to 17-18 LPA. Major recruiters are many IT companies and e-commerce companies like Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, Adobe, Cisco, etc. The criteria of internship start from the 3rd year onwards, where the first internship opportunity is solely based on your CGPA. It is an unpaid internship. During the 4th year, some internships have a stipend. Students are offered many roles depending on their resumes.
Infrastructure: There are many labs and department-related rooms. Classrooms are well-equipped and huge here. But I am unable to sit there because of the COVID situation. Wi-Fi is good at most places, but Wi-Fi in hostels is not that good. LAN works well. Hostels are majorly single equipped and are provided with 3-4 ports, including a LAN port. The power supply is decent. The mess is good, and the food served is not the best. There is a medical center, but it is too pricy. There is a well-equipped gym and sports center.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. It totally depends on you how you understand a teacher. Many teachers have over 10 years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant from the 2nd year onwards, and the 1st year is just an introduction to all subjects. The course makes students industry-ready as it covers almost all topics. Because of the online mode, exams are difficult to crack, and this affects the CGPA, but I guess this is the case with most colleges. The pass percentage is good, and it is 80-85%.
Other: I wanted to get CS as everybody does, but I got this course because of the preference order. It is a new experience, and I am trying to cope-up with that. In this course, you get familiar with daily life things like microphones, amplifiers, etc. Things I would like to add for betterment is more exposure to labs. Because of this online mode, we cannot get access to labs till now. There are major events every 2-3 months. The campus crowd is not huge, but it is decent. The airport is barely 10 minutes from campus, and the nearest railway station is 15 minutes away. Surroundings are lush green and clean. There is an official scholarship, which is based on CGPA.

Bits Goa - A Heaven among engineering colleges.
Placements: Placements of our college are top notch. All the best IT and finance company come here to recruit. Even some of the best core companies come here to provide career and growth opportunities. All of the students here get placed and the average CTC of our college is around 12-14 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel quality is really nice some of them are brand new and are renovated recently. The mess food is decent but there are night canteens and eateries where you can order all sorts of food that you wanna have. Even fir special craving you can order from Zomato. Classrooms and Wi-Fi are top notch too.
Faculty: All of the teachers at bits are from highly reputed institutions they have done their Masters and Ph.D. from great and known universities
They are very helpful when it comes to clearing doubts etc. The course curriculum is set so decently that hardly any of us get any problem while doing our Bachelor's.

It is value for money. It is a great college with great teachers and placements.
Placements: For the previous batch, the average salary package offered to the top students was around 16 LPA. Almost 85-90% of students were placed during the placement drive. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, but it was offered to CSE student. Many students have been opting for M.Sc. Roles and profiles offered were diverse and attractive.
Infrastructure: The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility. Laboratories and classrooms are air-conditioned. The gymnasium is built for students. There are three badminton courts and table tennis as well. All the sports equipment is kept in the sports room. The college also has cricket and football grounds.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very rigorous and specially designed for students according to industry requirements. Professors are well qualified as many are from IITs and abroad. They guide students with the course as well as projects. The teaching method used by them is by PPT and using green boards.
Other: The campus crowd is decent. Fests are conducted to have fun at times.

Hi, as for electronics core, the highest offered package this year was Rs 15 lakhs per annum by Texas Instruments and Qualcomm. Though EEE students bagged some of the highest packages in IT as well (as high as Rs 30 lakhs per annum).
