BMSIT Bangalore training and placement cell provides in-house faculty members, outsourced training partners and industry interactions to prepare the students with utmost clarity. This cell was established in the year 2004 and the first batch to graduate with placement was of year 2005-2006. BMSIT Bangalore provides semester-wise training to students from first year onwards. The Institute has international collaborations that bring exposure and enhanced training methods to follow. As per the records of the year 2023, 1100+ students were a part of internships through 350+ companies. Students receive their share of practical knowledge through activities such as industrial visits, technical talks, alumni mentoring, and employer’s meetings.

Satisfied with academics, and placements are good.

Placements: Around 85-90% of students got placed in 2024. The highest package is 46.4 LPA. The lowest salary is 3 LPA. The average salary is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies like TCS and Infosys visit. 600 students get paid internships with stipends ranging from Rs 13,000 to Rs 60,000 per month. Many companies visit our college.

Infrastructure: There are three blocks on the college campus. Includes lab, academic, and BSN. The full college and hostels have Wi-Fi. There is an adequate amount of infrastructure for every course. But the number of hostels is not adequate. Few students get the hostel. Girls' hostels are not there. Only boys' hostels are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, except for one or two, which you find everywhere. I don't think that the course curriculum is very aligned with industry standards, but this is the story of all the colleges in India, except a few. Semester exams are a little bit easy. You can easily get above 8 CGPA if you study just one week before the exam.

Other: It is a good college. Neither too good nor too bad. There are better options you should consider. If your rank is not too high. You can take this college.

Good campus, supportive faculty in all subjects, and good opportunities in this college.

Placements: Last year, about 75% of CSE students were placed. Last year, the highest CTC was around 27 LPA. Before last year, it was 46 LPA. College only makes us do internships and all. If anyone expects one of the good colleges in Bengaluru, it is the best choice. There is no problem with placement, just study hard.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is excellent, but the hostel fee is too high. There are many blocks, and each block is unique. Every programme is allotted a separate block. The greenery is better than any college in Karnataka. If anyone wants greenery, it is the best choice. Hostel food here is actually good.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive. They appreciate us for skillful work and execution. They instruct us to join clubs and participate in activities beyond academics. For placements, there are many faculty members to help. It is the best thing. Be a good and productive student, and faculty will support you more.

Other: Now, after the first year is completed, I find this college the best in Yelahanka.

If you want placement then this college is best.

Placements: In the Computer Science and Engineering branch, a total of 203 students registered for placement, out of which 153 got placed with a placement percentage of 81.03 percent. The highest, the lowest, and the average packages for our course are 46.4 LPA, 3.5 LPA, and 8.97 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies for our course are Dell, HP, Flipkart, Amazon, and many more. A total of 1303 internship offers are made, out of which 601 are paid internships. You can get a good placement if you study hard.

Infrastructure: My college has basically three blocks, which are lab block, academic block, and BSN block. In all these blocks, our regular classes take place. All classes are big enough for sitting, and CCTV cameras are installed in each and every classroom. College library is located in BSN block, and it is very well maintained with a large variety of books, and everything is available there. My college has its own stationery shop, a cafe, and a canteen, which is student budget-friendly. Overall, the infrastructure is good, but in boys hostel accommodation is less.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to each and every student, and they are well qualified with good knowledge in every field. This course is very relevant for our future goals as it covers all the basic and advanced knowledge required for cracking a good job. Two internal exams and a semester exam take place every semester in our college, in which semester exams are of an average level, and almost 90 percent of students pass with a CGPA of 7 or more. If you study just one night before the exam, you will get good marks in the exams.

Other: I took admission in this college because it is situated in the Indian IT industry, which is known for its placement. CSE has a very good future in upcoming years, that's why I have chosen this course. Things that need to be improved in my college are some good grounds for various sports and games, as well as some good teachers for one-credit subjects. Two fests take place every year, named Kalarava and Utsaha in our college in odd and even semesters, respectively. You will get many opportunities in this college.

A good college with decent placement, good academic, good infrastructure etc.

Placements: In my college, in the CSE department, 75 percent of students got placed recently in the year 2025. The highest package is 33 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 9.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Dell, Amazon, Accenture, etc. A total of 1,303 internship offers are made.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in our college is of decent speed. There are labs for every department, such as English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, etc. Classrooms are well-spaced, and the library is also well-engaged. All facilities are of a decent level. The quality of food is good in the mess as well as the canteen. Medical facilities are available. Some sports and games are also available on our campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide a very good level of teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant for the future, and it will make us ready for the future. Exams are of a moderate level in our college, which is doable. A total of 98% of students pass exams.

Other: CSE placement percentage is very good in our college, they will help in overall development as a person, so I chose it. All things are perfect in our college. Two events are organized named Kalarva and Utsaha. The campus crowd is of a decent level. The connectivity is also there with good colleges. Surroundings are very green. Scholarship is for KCET students. Many clubs are also there for extracurricular activities.

Good placements infrastructure and decent campus facilities.

Placements: 73 to 93 percent of students get placed every year depending on the branch. The highest package is about 46.4 LPA note during 2023. The average package offered is 7 to 8 LPA and the lowest package is about 3 LPA. For example CSE got the highest package of 46LPA in 2023. In 2024 CSE got 26LPA as the highest package.

Infrastructure: Campus has fast Wi-Fi smart classrooms and modern labs for all branches. The library has many books e-books and a reading area. There are computer labs projectors and research labs for students. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Boys hostel is on campus and girls hostel a few km away. Rooms are clean and have hot water washing machines and power backup. Mess food is mostly good and hygienic though some students feel it could be better. There is a canteen with extra food options where both north and south indian food options are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful friendly and well qualified. Most explain topics clearly but for industry level knowledge you may need to learn extra on your own. Semester exams are moderate not too hard if you study decently. Pass percentage is high 90 to 98 percent.

Other: I am from the B.E. CSE batch at BMSIT&M. I chose this course because I like coding and technology. Teachers are helpful in labs and classrooms are good. The syllabus is useful for jobs. Placements are very good. Campus life is fun with projects and industry exposure. A good college for learning and career growth.

Absolutely satisfying campus and supportive faculty. Value for money.
