It has high-quality faculty, solid IT placements, and a supportive learning environment.
Placements: In our CSE batch, 85 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA. The average package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. About 70 percent of students got internships at Flipkart and Internshala as software developers.
Infrastructure: CIT has more than 7 modern labs, an 8,000-square-foot library, and smart rooms. Hostels are comfy with clean rooms. Mess food is hygienic (vegetarian/non-vegetarian). There is a large playground for cricket and football. There is a gym. Wi-Fi is reliable in labs. It has a great and lush green campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is excellent, especially during 24-hour hackathons. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a 95 percent pass percentage. It has a high success rate.
Other: CIT has a green and peaceful campus near the airport. The cultural and tech fests are highlights, fostering a great community. I chose this college for the supportive faculty members and SVMCM scholarships. Connectivity is top-notch via the Madhyamgram station.

Camellia Institute of Technology reviewed by Tahir Hasan.
Placements: There are a total of 60 students studied with us. The highest package provided is 8 LPA and the lowest package provided is 4 LPA. 80% got placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture. We got top roles like team manager or team leader.
Infrastructure: They are highly educated labs, classrooms, and the library are also available, with a decent number of books available in the library. The quality of our hostel is very good, and the food provided by them is very good. Medical and canteen facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good, and they really teach us very good. This course's curriculum is relevant and this course makes the students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are quite hard, and because of tough grading, it is quite difficult to pass the semester exams. The passing percentage is 80%. There are a total of 10 faculty members are there in our course.
Other: I chose this course because of my love towards coding. The best thing about this course is that you will know about many new things. Every day, you will face a new technology and learn about it. You might be very curious about this course because of the coding part. The thing that will improve this course is university should remove unnecessary subjects like Biology, Economics, Indian Constitution, and Environmental Science. Our college organizes an annual sports event in the month of December, and there are also many functions related to dance, drama, and arts. The college organizes an annual sports in the month of December.

Good infrastructure from outside but not inside. A low-fee college that you can afford.
Placements: There are very few companies that have come for placement in the past. In the current scenario, you will rarely get placement offers from on-campus companies as no company is visiting this campus in the Computer Science branch. In other departments, such as ME and CE, you can get placement in small companies, as these companies come for placements.
Infrastructure: The college campus is in a very big place. There are lots of buildings in college and the environment is surrounded by greenery as this is in some type of rural urban area. But the indoor infrastructure is not as good, except for the old design, and there is no AC in classrooms.
Faculty: There are lots of facilities here, and you will learn so much if you attend the classes regularly in the CSE department. The curriculum is followed by MAKAUT because it is affiliated with MAKAUT. Exams are also conducted according to MAKAUT's schedule in a very strict way.
Other: If you can't afford high fees, then go with this, as this college charges very low fees.

Improving placements from last 2 years.
Placements: There are 50-70% of students placed From last 2 year the placement increased in CSE branch and others of branches placements improved now. The highest package of a student is 12 LPA in other state from batch of 2022. There are fewer companies tech mahindra and locals name companies. Few students does internship.
Infrastructure: Institutes infrastructure is quite large but the interiors of campus is average and workshops is also average though workshop got effected at time of COVID-19 for not using that. Labs are also good but Wi-Fi is not currently in working condition. Library building is here there is seperate building for library that's huge quantity of books and information. There were quite things in canteen before but now there is only main meals for those who stays in hostel. There is no medical facilities. There is a huge ground for sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty of this college is quite good and helpful for every student. They are enough and enough knowledgeable to teach everyone. This course is of software engineer so we have to only focus on software development through computers so whoever learns some good development they are industry ready.
Other: I choose software engineering because I'm quite interested to work on apps and games. The weird subjects that are in our course that does'nt make any sense for software development. Fest is organised every year and events are as usual in a or two months. There is no campus crowd.

It has a good environment with huge space on college premises. The semester fee is payable.
Placements: I have noticed on the college wall that many alumni of our college are doing various jobs in multinational companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. I don't know anything about the hostel. I heard about the college hostel from one of my seniors that the hostel meal and dinner are not so good. The building is rough outside.
Faculty: Faculty members of every course are good. I am in the CSE course 3rd-year now. In our branch, there are many good teachers. Our HOD mam is also taking our class well. In the course curriculum, our college organised many programs in lockdown online.

I am dissatisfied because of poor placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are poor. Our seniors are placed in good companies, but we didn't get any campusing. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered 2.4 LPA. Good companies do not visit the college. Almost 50% of the students got internships from our batch from Internshala.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available and the canteen is good. Labs and classrooms are also good. Tournaments and fests are organised every year. Hostels are good but are only for girls'. Others have to take rent in other PGs or hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but from other streams. Faculty members of our stream are good. Their teaching quality is good. The guard is very strict during semester exams. The percentage of passing the exam is 40%. Overall it is quite good.
Other: I was interested in CSE, so I opted for this course. Apart from learning the course, I learned many other things like teamwork and team management. The best thing is that students can gain knowledge and develop technical skills.

Worst college and administration in suburban Kolkata. They still didn't return my caution money.
Placements: The college provides zero placements. Nobody got placed in the on-campus placements. The college invited some KPOs and BPOs and didn't try to invite any product based company. Some companies were fake, and some were under civil court and consumer court. TPO was the worst, and there were no personality development classes conducted. The management was always busy in making money, and they took Rs. 5,000 extra for placement but it was of no use.
Infrastructure: The college has no infrastructure as there is nothing here. No lab was appropriate, and the systems were old. The equipment was not up to the mark and outdated. The software was outdated, and there was no internet connection in the lab. At some point of time, there was one common toilet, and it was the most awkward situation we have faced.
Faculty: Some faculty members were good, but later on, the college forced them to leave the institution. Some faculty members who didn't know a single thing also left. There were many good faculty members, and HODs were sued for their student-friendly behaviour. Only the faculty members who were strict with students were left in the college along with some 12th pass lab assistants.
Other: Connectivity to the college is the worst. None of the stream filled with 50% of students after our 2015 pass out batch.
