Life at AMU Aligarh for a B.Com. graduate.
Placements: We have a batch of 203 students, and 50 students were placed. We have an average package of INR 200000 pa, the highest package of INR 250000, and the lowest package of INR 100000 pa. The top recruiters are Colgate and Brain Reliance. Almost 40% of students get internships from our course and get INR 2,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very big and spacious and have projectors and smart classes. Lab assistants and technicians are always there to support the teachers. We have Asia's biggest library, which has Wi-Fi for all the students. The campus is really good, big, and very beautiful.
Faculty: The faculty members are quite knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. In our curriculum, there are six semesters of six months each with subjects like income tax and corporate law that are needed for every commerce student. There are plenty of presentations given by the students.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Neither placements nor internships are provided for our course. Some of the students got placements in companies like SoftNice in Aligarh.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in our department. We have around 10 classrooms with smart boards, and during the lockdown, lectures were given on zoom. No hostel facility for distant students. A big library is accessible. It is one of the huge libraries in Asia. The whole campus is Wi-Fi-enabled and it was only for regular students.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful and soft-spoken. They are very cooperative. Our curriculum is relevant and our department also provided us with books and reading materials after admission for all the 3 years. Semester exams were moderate as most of our exams are conducted online through zoom. First semester exams are held through offline mode. Exams are above moderate as questions were related to daily life problems.
Other: I opted for this course as I was preparing for competitive exams I wanted to do B.Com. The crowd was good enough.

It is a very good college to study and work.
Placements: Most of my batchmates got placed due to our well-qualified teachers and management. I also got an offer, but I was not interested in it. My batchmates are working for many reputed multinational companies. It is the best place to study and get a job.
Infrastructure: The college has very well-maintained classrooms, libraries and a very clean environment for studies. If a student has any query, the management was always available to solve it.
Faculty: The college has very well-qualified and knowledgeable teachers who were always available for us. Many students study in Aligarh Muslim University, Centre for Distance Education. Books given by the management provided a lot of information with a proper explanation of topics.
Other: It is a good campus and celebrates every event.

Best if you want to do courses simultaneously.
Placements: It gives you opportunity to do other courses like CA and just give assignment and exams and you can easily have an educational degree. Good college for even the students who come from outside of Aligarh. This college gives you the advantage of doing other courses simultaneously as you can get a degree. You don't need any attendance as this is distance education.
Infrastructure: AMU got every facility you need. You can say more than half of Aligarh is covered with AMU campus and distance education centre is located near jail road Aligarh. The campus has every kind of sports facility for students. Swimming pool, basketball, football, hockey, skating, gymnasium, e.t.c.
Faculty: Don't know much about the faculty as this college is all about distance education which is all about having no worries of attendance and give exam and clear your college by studying at home. All you need to do is just give an assignment and to be present for examination and then after a month result would be available.
