There are good placements and a chill campus life.
Placements: Around 90% of students in our course got placed through campus placements. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Nokia, etc. I do not have a proper percentage, but only 40-50% of students got internships in MNC companies and startups. Roles offered are related to development, security, testing, and sales.
Infrastructure: There are just fans in classrooms. Wi-Fi is available only in the lab rooms. The library has a proper set of books related to the course. Semi-furnished rooms, 24-hour security, 2 gyms, on-campus medical facilities, and reading rooms are available in the hostel. The hostel mess used to serve only vegetarian food, but the food used to be very tasty. There are multiple canteens on the college premises. There are 3 main gardens, 1 Parivartan ground, 1 COE ground, and 1 is the famous fighter planet ground. Basketball court, volleyball, cricket, and football sports equipment are available.
Faculty: Some teachers are not that qualified to some extent, but some teachers are PhD holders. Still, all of them are helpful and supportive to students. They exhibit mixed teaching qualities, with some focusing on practical knowledge by providing real-life examples, while others use simple language. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, including subjects related to technologies like machine learning, cloud computing, IOT, etc. Semester exams are a bit challenging if we have not attended lectures daily, but moderate for those who are attending lectures with full attention. There are final external exams. The pass marks are 27 out of 60.
Other: I chose CSE as there are multiple job openings in this field, and personally, I am more interested in computers and cybersecurity. We need more specialized labs and updated software. More guest lectures, workshops, and internships from the top product companies would help bridge the gaps between campus and industry. Surroundings of the campus are elegant, clean, and lush green. Connectivity is at its peak as it is on the highway, so public buses, autos, and other means of transportation are easily available. The college also has its own buses. The campus crowd is mostly North Indian, and there are students from states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, UP, and Bihar.

It is the best private college for B.Tech.
Placements: There are more than 700 students in CGC Landran, Mohali, Punjab. Companies like Google and Infosys visit our college. More than 300 students do internships in the 2nd and 3rd year in many companies.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided by the college, such as a lift facility in the hostel and a library. Sports management is very good. We have more than 20 courts of different types of sports. Our college provides laundry facilities. There are many parks and grounds. There are ACs in each classroom.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. Teachers have more than 20 years of experience. Our teachers and HOD are mostly PhD holders. There are more than 200 teachers and more than 6,000 students.
Other: Many fests and functions are organised by CGC Landran, Mohali, Punjab, such as a Holi party, a Diwali party, Parivartan, and a freshers party. The campus is very beautiful and lush green. More than 250 companies visit the college to hire students.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college in placements, events, etc.
Placements: Placement in electronics and communication is very bad; if we SEE placement % of electronics, it is around 30% There are fewer companies for ECE; they prefer CU students in placements for placed first. I had chosen non-TTP because there are not placements for ECE students .
Infrastructure: The hostel was below average, with cleanliness and maintenance needing significant improvement and hostel food is not good. We eat that food just to live. Many times dead animals and insects were found in food but life at the hostel is memorable just because of friends.
Faculty: A semester is 3-4 months. In 3-4 months they conduct end-semester exams. We did not get much time to study the academics so we did not maintain our SGPA for placements. The faculty is good; not all but many of them are good in nature so we attend college just because of that.
Other: Only 1 event is worth it, and that is Parivartan, which is our college's biggest event .

CGC Landran is a great B.Tech CSE college with modern labs, good education, and affordable fees.
Placements: The college offers internships in many companies. Students seeking B.Tech CSE with a good education at an affordable price must check it out.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure like labs and classrooms is very good. Each class has AC and proper air conditioning. Workshops and EDGE classes are well-planned, and studies are all A+. The sports room and canteen are also awesome. I'm not a hosteller, but when I asked my friends, they said the hostel food, rooms, and medical facilities are all very nice.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They send helpful question banks during exam time and also mark important questions that really help in improving our scores and preparation. Semester exams are not too hard, just moderate. Studying and passing are easy if students do some smart work.
Other: I chose this course because I'm very passionate about CS. The best thing I like is coding and the exposure to the coding world. I think everything is good and there is no need for improvement. But, if more coding subjects are included in the 1st year of B.Tech, that would really help us. CGC Landran College is a good option for students who belong to middle-class families. This college offers B.Tech CSE education at an affordable price.

Good in infrastructure and facilities and average in placements.
Placements: I am in 2024-2028 batch but I have seen my seniors placed. Approximately 70-80% of students who fulfilled the requirements for placement drive get placed. The highest package from my course is around 1 crore per annum. The highest roles offered are web developers, software developers, and software testers.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is impressive. It has all required labs and each block has a library also with a central library. Hostel is also good. Every room has study table, almirah, and Wi-Fi connection. Hostel has a gym, tv room, study room, and sports arena.
Faculty: All teachers are very understanding, well-qualified, experienced, and helpful. Every teacher has expertise in their subject. Course curriculum is relevant to market requirements, with summer training which makes students industry-ready. The percentage for passing exams is 40%.

I had an extremely satisfying experience, and only expectations are high.
Placements: Low packages like the average of 4 LPA are offered. However, placements are 90%. Companies that visit are also average. No Google or Amazon companies visit the college, so don't think about that. We can insure good packages off-campus. Only 2-3 students per year get 10 LPA so we can guess how things are.
Infrastructure: It provides a good hostel. Both AC and non-AC hostels are available. Rooms are very small. Classrooms are very bad with no AC. We have a very bad experience in summer and they take so much money yet no AC. However, AC is only for teachers and HOD then what is the point of taking fees?
Faculty: It has an average exam structure and faculty members. Some teachers are good and some are bad like Maths teachers are very bad. It is PTU affiliated so we can guess there is almost a mass supply in most of papers. PTU lovers give a supply for money. In colleges like Jhangeri, where it is autonomous there is no mass supply. It has good courses and teachers.
Other: Events are very mid as they spend low money on events and only average celebrities come. The food infrastructure is bad on the campus.
